I have £142.00 to spend and I was thinking of getting Pokemon Emerald and a GBA SP. I've already got a DS and GC but I haven't got a GBA SP. So I'd like to know what you think about my Idea... Also If you think I should get something different feel free to suggest.

I'd do exactly the same, considering that an SP would be very handy for trading. Also, the built-in background illumination of the SP is nice too. It handles a lot of games (including those GBC, and original GB ones too) and It would definitely be a good thing to do.

Still, my personal favourite GameBoy is the GameBoy Advance, (not SP) which can handle normal batteries and isn't as annoyng as the SP with which the old GBC games face towards you and result in uncomfortable playing.

I think it's a great idea to buy a Gameboy Advance SP and Pokemon Emerald. Emerald is definitely the best of the third generation games as far as having things to do after beating the Elite Four. The Battle Frontier is like another game all on its own. However if you already have either Ruby or Sapphire, I might recommend getting Fire Red or Leaf Green. There isn't much to do after beating the Elite Four (except the Sevii Islands), but you can get Kanto and Johto Pokemon, which you need to complete your Pokedex in the Hoenn region. So as far as what game to buy, it really depends on what you already have.

Thankyou for your Replys, I went out earlier and bought SP for £60.00 and Emerald for £34.99 so I have £45.00 left, any suggestions in what to get?

Moving to Nintendo Discussion, I think that's a more appropriate place for this.

Can you see it?
Buy Mario Kart DS/Animal Crossing:Wild World/Tony Hawks:American Sk8land because of Wi-Fi or like Mariob said get LeafGreen or FireRed.
