Pokemon Emerald: The Internal Battery

I was playing my Pokemon Emerald today, and before the games started, it said "The internal battery has run dry. You can still play the game, but there will be no more clock-based events" or something along those lines. Does that mean that I can't do certain things like go to Mirage Island (if it hasn't happened yet), and that Pokerus won't wear off? And is there any way to replace it? Help would be appreciated.

Yikes! That means things like the day-night evos won't happen. I'm not sure about anything else, but if this happens in GSC or RBY, it will delete your saved game and you will be unable to save... I, or rather, my dad, took my Gold and Silver games to someone who fixed them. I'd be very careful in game usage unless you're certain it will do no damage to the game itself until you acn get it fixed...

Okay, thank you. I was growing some berries to test out how the game is, and that worked fine, so I was wondering if it was actually not going to work anymore.

Dangit, only one more string of wins away from Greta, and I thought I had a pretty good chance, too....

But thank you for your advice and help, I'm happy to know I'm not completely doomed. : )

Your welcome! Always happy to help, 'specially in the sake of an awesome Pokemon game.

If you have any more battery troubles, let me know. Just drop by my profile and post or PM me, whichever you prefer. I'll see what I can do! (Of course, I've had this problem TWICE on my GSC games. I had a LUGIA, battery died, bye Lugia.)

EDIT: If a mod sees the double post, that was a glitch. Please ignore or delete the first one, as this wasn't supposed to happen...

You can send it in to Nintendo and they will replace the battery, but it will delete your saved game, so, eh...however, it's not a HUGE deal. My battery is dead, too, but other than timed events it works just as jolly good as before. :)

Okay, good, because I have a MEW on that game and I REALLY don't want to delete the file.

But thanks guys. : )
