I've got the right equipment, so now I just need the guinea pigs-er-voice actors. ^_^;

IN CASE YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT A FANDUB IS:

A fandub is a project where fans of a series dub an episode themselves with their own Voice Actors before the episode comes out.

I'm going to start by dubbing AG episode #141, and this is what I need YOU
guys to do for me: I need some good voice actors to play these parts for this certain episode for right now:

Ash ------

May ------

Brock -----

Max ------

Jesse ------

James ------

Meowth ------

Sneasel ------ Myself (this part is a no-brainer)

Sister one (with the Sneasel) ------

Sister two (with the Mr.Mime) ------

Other Pokemon ------ *please state which one you are planning to do based on appearance in this list:

*Munchlax, Mr. Mime, Pikachu, Mudkip, Combusken*

Okay, as soon as you figure out what part you think you can do best,
please send me a sample of it so it may be judged by me.
Any phrase will do, as long as you try your best. As for the Pokemon voices, I would like the English versions of them please.

Oh, and make sure your microphone is set right, and I suggest getting
Audacity and using that instead of the regular microsoft utility. I want your samples in MP3, but they can be in WAV as well (as long as they're in good quality).

As soon as I pick which people will do what parts, I'll send you lines you should say, and the actual episode itself, so you're able to see what feelings and timing you should have.

The only other thing I need help on would be putting Sound Effects and BGM in the background in Movie Maker or Audacity. If you know how, please tell me.

So get on to recording, and send those samples in this thread! ^__^

A part of me has always wanted to do some voice acting, this may be the closest I get XD

So if I manage to find a microphone (or buy a new one) then I wouldn't mind trying out for the part of May, or either sister, I guess

Lucky for me I have the episode already, so I have that part covered :D

So, we're allowed to say anythiing in our sample? I'll try to get mine up pretty soon

I would love to, but I don't have a microphone (how much do they cost?) and I don't know how to record stuff onto the computer. If i could somehow figure those two problems out I would love to do James or Ash

My name is James so I'd love to play James! or Brock. I'd say Ash but my voice is probably heaps too deep. Well perhaps I'll send in a voice clip and you can determine who I'd be good for.
Also before I join in I'd be interested to know how big the episode is...

Mine cost about $25.00, which is a good price for em'.

Also, you can use Audacity or Windows Sound Recorder to record your voice. Just click on the record button, and start talking!

Interesting. I like how you're giving the lines and the actual original version to give a feel of how things occured in the original. Something that dubbing companies SHOULD be doing. I might buy into this.

This is quite intresting, you do know excactly what they're saying in the episode right? And your going to give everyone their own script after audiotions with exact things on where they're moving etc. so they get the feeling how they're expression when speak should be right? And you have the right tools to do this right? If so, excellent. Good luck on this.

No, I haven't. :D (I'm a girl, BTW)

I'm actually going to have to cancel this for now. I'm really low on time right now, and I somehow deleted the episode off my computer. Sorry about that. -_-; Hope you can forgive me.

Edit: I might actually be able to resume this project if someone is kind enough and sends me the avi of this episode.
I'll get this done faster that way as well, since I won't have to convert RM to WMV like I was going to do.
