One of the games released in the mini-generation "The Path To Diamond and Pearl" was Mystery Dungeon, which was divided into two parts, Red (for the GBA) and Blue (for the DS).
The manner of capturing pokemon here is different; you befriend them by defeating them in battle. These pokemon will now become your wild partners throughout the dungeon you caught them, and when you are finished, they rest in a very special place: FRIEND AREAS.
Friend Areas are environments suited for certain kinds of pokemon. There are 27 Friend Areas available in MD, which are further subdivided, but we won't tackle those. All those friend areas will be featured in this face-off:
THE POKEMON FRIEND AREAS FACE-OFF!!!
In this face-off, Pokemon with the SAME Friend Areas will face-off each other to gain the title of being their Friend Area's champion!! The Pokemon of Two [or more] Friend Areas can also battle themselves out, and be declared those two [or more] Friend Areas' champion!

RULES FOR LEVEL 2
1. Forum and FO Rules apply.
2. Voting is once per 30 minutes.
3. Pokemon start with 20HP. Heal 2 pokemon. These 2 pokemon will get +1 HP. The remaining pokemon will get -1 HP.
4. First 2 pokemon to get 40HP will advance. If a pokemon reaches 0HP, it is eliminated.
CURRENT FRIEND AREA:
This Friend Area holds the most pokemon of all the Friend Areas. It is home to almost all the "physical" pokemon, most of the psychic/ghost/dark pokemon, even some of the starters and some legendaries! I give you:
MOUNTAIN RANGE!!
