Pokemon Go Using Up a lot of Data

Rune Knight

Well-Known Member
For some reason, pokemon go managed to use up to 20mb of data in less than 10 minutes even though it usually takes up a lot less.

One thing to note is that I recently had to re-install the game and haven't played it since; so it might be that it has to re-download all of the assets but I'm not entirely sure.

Anyone else having this issue or know what is going on?

I've run into something similar before. It used up around 50mbs recently when I was in a gym during a raid.

That might be the case with that one.

I'm thinking my issue had to do with my phone working harder due to the heat.
