pokemon good to trade over to r/s/e

people if you had or have a guide to emrald and it tells you what good pokemon that are good for the battle pike
like own tempo
steel no poisoning

wel these are some of my suggestions to send over from fire red and leaf green

likitung better stats than spinda

dragonite inner focus because of hariyama and how it makes you flinch right off the bat and alot of trainers have this pokemon in the game

snorlax and it leveling up to know block to catch latias and latios better and safer than a wobbufet

slaking over to fire red and leaf green to catch the mewtwo zapdos molters articuno because of its traunt and the pokemons abilitys pressure

arcinine flash fire powers up fire attacks for combination for the battle frontier

Grammer aside, I found Alakazam and Snorlax useful in the actual battle against Lucy. Pick another Pokemon for the third spot of your choice. Snorlax can't be poisoned if he has the immunity ability(take THAT Shuckle), and Zam Vs. Seviper's a very one sided fight.

Slowbro is much better than spinda and Lickitung for own tempo.

I like Intimidate on Arcanine much better. He has nice HP and not bad defenses, Intimidate for some back up is better. Good pokemon.

And how is slaking good to use to catch the legendary birds and mewtwo with its horrible ability.

Can we not worry about the gammer? -_- Half the members here don't use it. He's got spaces between the sentences so it's easy to read. Anyways...Arcanine is another one of my fav pokes but I use Flareon now (another Kanto poke but a bit slower and weaker on defense)

alakazam has very low defence i would not use it

i would be careful if i where you over lapped weaknesess charizard and skarmory
are weak against electric attacks

a dragon type then a skarmory would be better

slaking has a traunt every two turns right so it takes the battle a long time so if you use timer balls and slaking it is perfect and you dont use much pp
you move then you don't you move then you don't you move then you don't
great pokemon because it has over 400 hit points at level 100 if you caught it in the wild and great defence
