Pokemon Guardians

I just thought of this because I thought it would be kind of funny. This is a humorous story that is PG-13. Thank you and I hope you guys loved it.

DISCLAIMER: Never owned Pokemon

This fic is approved by the FFPDA (Fan Fiction Producers and Distributors of America). Certificate No. 0001. Just kidding. But, the story is mine. The characters except for James, Katie, Zabek are not mine.

Seventeen legendary guardians posses power far beyond comprehension will soon come to defeat evil...

It was already seven years since Ash Ketchum started his Pokemon journey. Now that he had grown up, he had usually stayed in Pallet Town with some of his best friends Misty, Brock , Tracey, and of course, Pikachu.. Even though he was crowned a Pokemon master years ago, he regularly trained his Pokemon now and then. His team of Pokemon had grown since he had first started out at the age of ten. His travels had taken him to places like Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn, not to mention a couple more places. A lot happened in Pallet Town as well. A man claiming to be Ash's twin, James, arrived into the scene a year ago. Additionally, Ash's mom gave birth to a new young girl, Katie.

Ash then spoke to the camera, "Yeah, there are probably a bunch of plotholes and questions by now, but just wait it out, I swear." He winked.

"I won!" Ash had just finished a battle against former gym leader Brock and won. Misty looked out of Ash's kitchen window and sighed,

"There he goes again, bragging about his victories." To everyone's surprise, Misty had started dating Ash.

Ash's mom, Delia, looked out the window, "Ahh, my little boy is growing up." Misty sweatdropped,

"He's only sixteen."

Ash's mom interrupted, "Seventeen today! I better prepare celebrations for the big day!" Misty sighed, "It's only seventeen years old. Besides, he doesn't need to grow up anymore. He's fine the way he is now."

#1: PILOT (A NEW MISSION)

Professor Oak knocked on Ash's door.

Misty saw him and said, "Oh, it's just you, Professor. Why should I open the door for you?" Professor Oak started yelling, "Don't give me that sass, young lady! Now open the door!" Misty sighed and opened the door. "Hmph! I'm getting too old to handle theses kids." Misty just smirked.

"Hey, Professor Oak, I thought you died!" greeted Ash. Professor Oak responded, "Well, actually, Tracey had this gun at the... but I digress. I just came to tell you that Gary just left on another Pokemon journey." Ash whined, "Again? I thought he quit the training business." Professor Oak said, "Yeah, he decided that researching Pokemon was boring a while ago while he worked with me, but anyway..." He then sighed, "What is it that made these children hate me anyway? Well, that's all I had to tell you, Ash. Don't worry, after seeing your battle skills, I doubt Gary can compare. Who knows though." He cackled his way back to the lab.

Katie then came into the kitchen. She asked Ash, "When do I get to have Pokemon?"

Ash replied, "When you turn ten."

Katie counted, "So, since I'm seven, that makes what, three years?" Ash sweatdropped, "Wow, you're pretty gifted at a young age."

Back at the lab, Professor Oak had made a discovery.

"Quick, Tracey! Come here!" Tracey came and gasped, "That looks like trouble coming." Professor Oak got worried, "We'd better call Ash and the others."

A voice was heard, "I don't think we'll be doing that!" "Who are you?!" cried Professor Oak. He was tied up and stashed in a corner of the room.

"Hey, don't take that!" He yelled as the mysterious figure ran away leaving behind Pokemon.

Tracey secretly got away and ran to Ash's house. He rang the bell. "Ash! I need he... Hey, do I smell cake?" Delia smiled, "You sure do, Tracey!"

Tracey chewed some pieces and said, "Mmmm, that's good!" Meanwhile, Professor Oak yelled, "Damn you Tracey! You could have at least untied me first!"

Ash interrupted, "So, what did you want to tell me?"

Tracey said ,"Oh yeah. Some guy tied up Professor Oak and stole something from him."

Misty yelled from another room, "About time!" Ash went with Tracey to the lab.

"I better go see what this is about."

They ran to Professor Oak's lab. There were all these dark Pokemon inside.

Ash sighed, "It's pretty clever to use dark-type Pokemon in the dark." Inside were a Sneasel, a Murkrow, and Houndour.

Ash yelled, "Pikachu! Thunder attack!" The dark Pokemon moved fast and attacked Ash and Pikachu with rays.

Ash asked, "What are those attacks?" Ash was on the move trying to dodge the rays. Pikachu used Quick Attack and tried to use another Thunder attack on the dark Pokemon.

Pikachu yelled, "Pikachu!" The dark Pokemon were shocked and ran off.

"Wait!" yelled Ash as the mysterious figure saw the Pokemon running and tried to run as well.

Ash yelled, "Who are you?"

The voice said, "If I told you, it wouldn't be much of a surprise, would it?"

Ash closed his eyes and yelled, "Wait!" Suddenly, the figure was enclosed in a blue flame. Ash gasped, "What's going on?" The flame then disappeared as the figure ran away.

As the figure ran away, Tracey untied Professor Oak. He yelled, "What took you so long, you idiot!" Professor Oak then coughed and said, "Please call the others. I have an interesting discovery." Everyone else came as Professor Oak gave his announcement.

"The world is going to end."

Silence filled the room. Following it was utter chaos.

"WE'RE GONNA DIE?!"

Professor Oak started explaining, "Well, we need the Pokemons' power to stop the world from ending." Ash asked, "But why is the world ending?"

Professor Oak laughed, "Oh, let me explain."

Brock sweatdropped, "You're awfully jolly."

Oak continued, "Well, you see, I had a Mystical Amulet, which was stolen by this group called the Evil Guardians. The guardians can use the pendant, I mean amulet, to fulfill their wishes. Since they're evil, which I can assume from their name, they will use to create chaos in the world. But you see, the pendant can only be activated by catching all 386+ Pokemon, and I put emphasis on the plus." He coughed and hacked.

"As I was saying, they will need to catch every Pokemon with their Evil Guardian power. However, this threat can be countered by awakening the true Guardians of Pokemon. There are 17 of them in all. These legendary Guardians each have special powers, each related to the 17 different types of Pokemon: Grass, Water, Electric, Flying, Bug, Dragon, Ghost, Fire, Normal, Fighting, Rock, Dark, Steel, Poison, Ice, Ground, and Psychic. The Guardians do just what the name says, guard the Pokemon."

Ash asked, "Exactly what do the Guardians have to do?" Professor Oak answered, "Good question. Their sole duty is to catch each and every Pokemon to activate the Mystical Amulet."

Ash nudged Brock, who was asleep.

Brock said, "Oh, uhhh... do we really have to catch all 151 Pokemon... I mean, 251... I mean..."

Professor Oak said, "Let's just leave it at 386+. Also, only the Pokemon who matches the Guardians type may catch the Pokemon. Now follow me and I'll show you where the Pokemon go." Professor Oak introduced the contraption, "This machine is where the Pokemon go. They are divided to the types. If the Pokemon is dual-type, the Pokemon will be put in either of the type homes." Oak then asked, "Anyone confused."

Everyone raised their hand. He sweatdropped as he repeated himself over again.

Misty sighed, "So, now we have to find these Guardian guys to save the world?"

Oak said, "Oh yeah, one more thing. I have a little mascot... I mean helper to assist you on your missions. Teleport here, Zabek!"

A little orange-brown creature appeared at the transporter.

He asked, "Who woke me up?!"

Professor Oak whispered something to him, "Zabek, the time has come."

"Aw, crap. Well, let's see our little group."

Professor Oak said, "Well, actually these kids are looking for the Guardians of Pokemon. Wait a minute!" He harkened back to a few hours ago when he Ash helped to defeat the dark Pokemon.

Oak turned to Ash, "I bet you're a Guardian of Pokemon, Ash."

Ash gasped, "Me? You really think so?" Oak said, "I saw how you fought earlier. Those looked like telekinetic powers you used."

Zabek closed his eyes and a spoon appeared in Ash's hands. Zabek said, "Well, if you think this amateur is a Guardian, then we should test it out. Ash, shout Twisted Spoon!"

Ash said, "Ok." and took a deep breath as he held out the metallic spoon in front of him, "Twisted Spoon!" He started to glow and transformed. He was wearing special pink clothing with a Mind Badge symbol on it.

"Well what do you know? You're the Psychic Guardian!"

Ash smiled. "We found one." Billy sighed, "A pretty useless one if you ask me?" Ash stretched Billy's face as Oak yelled, "Billy! Grow up and cooperate!"

"Another adventure for us!" said Ash as he, Billy, Misty, Brock, James, (whoever he is) and Tracey left. "Can I come?" asked Katie.

Delia said, "Access denied!"

Suddenly, Delia exclaimed, "Be back by 8!" Ash sighed,

"But..." Delia winked, "Remember it's your and James' birthday!"

James said, "Oh yeah. It is my birthday."

Ash looked at Dash for a second and finally said, "Come on, let's go!" They jumped into the air.

The group walked along Route 1. Ash sighed, "How come there are no Pokemon here?!"

"Calm down, " said James.

Suddenly, a small figure appeared and disappeared in a flash of light. He appeared again somewhere else.

"Wait, isn't that an Abra?" Ash looked,

"You're right! Pokeball..." James sighed,

"Wait, you're not supposed to use regular Pokeball!"

Ash asked, "What?" Suddenly, Abra attacked them with a Psychic attack.

"Ow!" Ash and Billy screamed. "Run!" Ash ran. Abra then attacked the others with Confusion.

"No! Misty! That's it!" Billy screamed, "Hurry and transform!" Ash nodded, "Right! Twisted Spoon!" He transformed into the Psychic Guardian.

Billy screamed, "Attack them!"

Ash sweatdropped, "Oops, I fogot to ask Professor Oak how to use my powers." Everyone facefaulted.

Brock said, "Wait, we have an expert here!"

Ash asked, "Who? Wait, me! What are my attacks, Zabek?"

Zabek said, "Well... you're supposed to learn them as you go along." Ash face faulted.

"Watch out!" yelled Misty as Abra started shooting Psybeams. Pikachu took matters into its own hands and shocked Abra. Ash cheered, "Good job, Pikachu!" Abra recovered itself. "Damn!"

Abra continued using Psybeams randomly. One of the Psybeams hit Misty.

Ash screamed, "Stop!"

He started chasing Abra. He teleported in front of Abra, "Stop this, Abra!" Ash tried to catch Abra with his hands, but it teleported away.

Tracey suggested, "We should all try to catch it together."

"You're right!" Ash said.

They all tried to grab Abra together. Abra tried to teleport around, but the 5 hands had it pinned to the ground.

Finally, Ash yelled, "That's it! Confusion Beam!" A powerful psychic beam came out of Ash's hands. "How did I do that?!"

Billy said, "It's one of your powers... Guardian!" Ash smiled.

"Awesome!" Misty cheered, "Way to go, Ash!" Abra was hit with the Psychic Blast.

Zabek shouted, "Here's your chance. Say 'Twisted Ball'!"

Ash yelled, "Twisted Ball!" and a ball came out of nowhere and caught Abra.

Ash cheered, "I won!" Everyone cheered.

Billy said, "But this is only the beginning!"

James looked at his watch.

"Hey, it's almost eight." Ash said, "Let's go home and celebrate my first victory as a Guardian of Pokemon!"

Zabek stayed behind smiling and thought to himself, "Ah, something tells me that this kid will make a great Guardian!"

"Come on, Zabek!" shouted Ash.

"Coming!" said Zabek as he flew to them.

One thing you don't do is use the number keys. If you need to write 5, type it out with five, don't be lazy unless its a very big number.

When someone else speaks, you start a new paragraph. You don't have the same person talk on the same line.

All in all, this could use some work. Before we get to the big stuff, fix the numbers and dialog as I mentioned. Another idea is to read some of the good stories around here to give you a better idea of how to write well.

Heavy Sleepers

Seventeen legendary guardians

will soon arise and protect the world from a deadly force...

"Happy Birthday!" Everyone cheered for Ash and James.

Brock looked at them and cried, "I can't believe it! You're so much older than when we first met!"

Meanwhile, something scurried around the house. Ash looked up abruptly, "Does anyone sense something here?"

Everyone answered, "No."

Ash thought to himself, "Hmmm... Something's here."

#2: HEAVY SLEEPERS

"How come there are only ten birthday candles on our cake?" asked James.

Delia answered, "Because I have ten wonderful children."

Ash sighed, "But you only have three, and only God knows how you even got those two."

Delia laughed, "Oh yeah, right. Okay, you know how much those candles cost anyway? Just be happy you have a cake. You're too old for this anyway."

Suddenly, the doorbell rang. Ash looked out the window, "I wonder who that could be."

Billy yawned, "What suspense! ...I'm going to sleep."

Brock answered the door, "That must be mine!" Two girls appeared at the door.

"We're here for the party."

Brock smiled at the total strangers, "Come on in!" Ash sweatdropped,

"Hey Brock! Who said you could invite them?" The girls got angry.

"We know when we're not wanted." The girls left as Brock tackled Ash.

Finally, the commotion died down. "Let's start with the presents!" suggested Delia.

"Mine first!" said Brock giving his present to Ash.

Ash smiled sarcastically, "Hooray! A box of half eaten cookies!"

Brock said, "Yeah, I ate half of them after that stunt you pulled with the girls."

Katie then said, "Okay, open mine now!"

Ash opened Katie's present, "It's nothing."

Katie laughed, "That's because you're good for nothing! Ha ha ha ha!" Pikachu shocked her.

Ash said, "Thanks, Pikachu."

Professor Oak said, "Open mine now! Mine is probably the most important."

Ash opened his present, "It's a mirror." Oak laughed, "Yeah, it's a mirror. It reflects stuff."

Ash sweatdropped, "Thanks for that tidbit. Let's put these crappy presents away in the attic."

Delia said, "Hey, you almost forgot to open mine."

Ash opened his present which turned out to be underwear.

Ash sighed, "This stopped being funny a while ago!"

Katie screamed, "Stop yelling at mom!"

Suddenly, Delia fell. They looked at her, "Huh? She fainted?"

Brock checked her heartbeat. "She's still breathing."

Misty asked, "What happened to her?" Suddenly, Tracey fell as well. "Aah! What's happening?!" wondered Misty as she was the next to faint.

"Misty!" Oak checked them and heard snoring. "I think they're sleeping."

Ash asked, "Why? I didn't think this party was that boring?"

Suddenly, Oak fell asleep. Ash sighed, "Well, there goes our informtion." Brock quickly followed the others and slept.

Ash gasped, "Uh-oh! They're dropping fast!"

Ash, James and Katie looked around the house for clues.

"I hear something coming from the roof!" said James.

"Let's check it out!" Suddenly, he fell asleep.

Katie cried, "Uh-oh! We better hurry or else we won't be able to help the others."

They got a ladder and went to the roof. "Nothing's there!"

Ash sighed, "Where else could it be. Wait a minute! The attic! Come on, Katie... Katie?" Katie was snoring.

Ash sighed, "Some kind of sleep signal is coming from the attic. I hope I don't fall asleep by then... Why am I talking to myself?"

Ash rushed up the stairs to the attic and found a small figure enclosed in the shadows.

"Who are you?" The Pokemon used Hypnosis. Ash tried to stay awake, "Stop! Before I fall..."

As he said that, he fell asleep. Suddenly, Billy flew up the attic. "How come everyone's asleep?"

He spotted Ash sleeping on the floor and attempted to wake him up.

Ash wouldn't budge. Billy thought to himself, "Think fast! That's it!"

He flew downstairs and came back with a can of pop. He poured some into Ash's mouth as Ash woke up, "Mmm, my thirst has been quenched."

He saw Billy, "Hey, how come you woke up from the sleep waves?"

Billy replied, "What sleep waves? I was bored of your crappy party. What's everyone else doing just lyind there?"

Ash said, "They were affected by this thing." He pointed to the shadowy figure.

Billy said, "It's probably some kind of Pokemon. You better transform!"

Ash responded, "Got ya! Twisted Spoon!" Ash transformed.

"Okay Pokemon, you're mine!" The shadowy figure used Hypnosis.

Ash tried to stay awake, "Okay, what now Billy?" He turned around and saw Billy sleeping.

Ash sweatdropped, "Guess I'll have to do this without Jupei's help."

"Confusion Beam!" The figure dashed out of the blast and ran into the light, revealing himself.

Ash gasped, "Drowzee!" Drowzee yelled, "Drowzee!" and used Hypnosis. Ash dodged it and thought, "What do I do?"

He then spotted the mirrors Professor Oak. A familiar voice said in his head, "It's a mirror. It reflects stuff."

Ash sweatdropped, "The irony! It hurts!"

Ash stood in front of the mirror as Drowzee aimed his Hypnosis attack at Ash. Ash dodged at the last minute as the sleep waves hit Drowzee instead. Drowzee began to doze off, "Drow..." Ash laughed.

"Heh. Twisted Ball!" Drowzee was caught as Ash cheered, "Another Pokemon caught!"

Meanwhile, everyone woke up. Billy looked up, "Huh? You caught him? All right, Psychic Guardian!"

Ash smield looked at the Pokeball in his hand. They went downstairs as Delia asked, "What happened?"

Ash laughed, "You all fell asleep!"

Brock then asked, "Where's Katie?"

Katie looked around, "How did I get on the roof! Somebody get me down form here!"

Ash said, "Well, I found the source of our little problem," He said holding the Pokeball with Drowzee.

Delia suggested, "Let's open the rest of the of the gifts tomorrow. I need sleep."

Misty then told Ash to outside with her.

Ash asked, "Huh?"

Misty smiled, "Here's your birthday present!"

Ash smiled, "Finally, a good birthday present!"

As they were about to kiss, James came outside and asked, "Hey, what are you doing? Where's my birthday presents? It's my birthday too, or did you forget that we were twins, Ash?!"

Ash and Misty facefaulted.

Meanwhile, in a dark room, a voice talked, "The other side is steadily progressing."

Anothervoice asked, "Ahead of us?"

"No, not yet!"

The voice laughed, "Excellent! Mwa ha ha ha ha!"

It's still kind of scripty. There is little description at all. When he opened the gifts, he said what they were, but should have given a bit of description as well. As it is, this seems a bit bland. Flesh the characters out a bit.

A Wall Divided

GUARDIANS OF POKEMON

Disclaimer: No, I don't own Pokemon or any of its characters. Any original characters are mine, however.

Seventeen legendary guardians

possessing powers far beyond comprehension

will soon arise and protect the world from a deadly force...

"Aahhhhh." yawned Ash as he woke up the day after his birthday bash. Finding his mom, Delia, and her pet Mr. Mime, Mimie, downstairs, he asked, "What are you doing up so early mom?"

Delia yelled, "Fine!" "Huh?" thought Ash.

Judging from Mr. Mime's angry expression, Ash thought they were fighting. He asked his mother, "What happened?"

Delia pouted, "Mimie and I had a fight! You see, Mimie here has stopped doing all his chores. Now, he doesn't do a thing but lie around the house all day! And he expects me to feed him!"

Ash replied, "So, it's like that for James... Besides, Mimie's getting old. You shouldn't make it work all the time. In fact, you shouldn't really be making him work at all."

Suddenly, Delia started throwing plates at Mimie as Ash ran shouting, "Aahhhh!"

#3: A WALL DIVIDED

Mimie went outside pouting, "Mr. Mime!" Unknowingly to Mimie, a person creeped up to him and whispered in his ear, "Are you feeling bad? I heard about how that crazy woman was treating you. You deserve better than this."

Mr. Mime looked up with flashing eyes as the person laughed and disappeared.

Misty went downstairs and whined, "What's with all the noise? Some people are trying to sleep."

Ash answered, "You see, mom and Mr. Mime..."

Delia interrupted, "Ahem. It's Mimie!"

Ash continued, "As I was saying, those two were having a fight."

Misty whined, "That's it? What could you be so angry at Mimie for?"

Delia then started crying, "I don't know why I'm so angry. You're right! You know what, I'm going to make up with Mimie."

Ash stretched, "I guess this episode will be pretty short."

Just then, Mimie opened the door and entered. Delia cheered, "Mimie! I'm so glad you're back!"

She ran towards him until she bumped into an invisible wall. "Hey! What was that for?" yelled Ash as Mimie enclosed Delia in an invisible wall prison.

Delia yelled, "Help!"

Billy, James, Brock, Katie, and Pikachu ran down the stairs to see what the commotion was. Suddenly, Mimie pushed a barrier into them.

"Ow." they all said fainting. They were all enclosed in their own invisible prison.

Ash asked, "What was that for, Mimie?" Mr. Mime tried to push a barrier into Ash.

"Oh no you don't! Twisted Spoon!" Ash transformed as Mimie enclosed himself with invisible walls.

Ash yelled, "Confusion Beam!" Mimie's wall reflected the attack back at Ash.

Billy yelled, "Listen, Ash! You have to try something else or Mr. Mime will just reflect it!" Ash tried to punch the wall down as Billy facefaulted, "You'll never learn anything that way!"

Ash tried to think as Delia started yelling, "Mimie! Stop misbehaving!" Mimie heard her and tried to make her prison tighter.

Delia screamed, "Nooo!" Ash yelled, "Mom!"

Suddenly, anger arose within Ash as he yelled, "Super Reversal Attack!" The walls separated and fell.

"That's the way, Ash!" cheered Billy.

Mimie was enraged and started running around the house, making walls to block Ash from reaching him. Ash chased it, continuously yelling,

"Super Reversal Attack!"

Ash forced the walls to fall, Mimie began running out of breath. "

Mime... mi..." Mimie panted as Ash tried to follow.

Blood boiled in Delia as she yelled, "Mimie! Stop this NOW! This isn't the Mimie I knew. My Mimie would care for me, always remaining kind. Please stop..."

She cried as Mimie stopped.

"Please..." Mimie got rid of all the walls surrounding everyone.

Delia ran towards Mimie as it smiled, "Mime!"

Delia cried, "I'm sorry for yelling at you. I should have been more considerate of your feelings."

Billy sweatdropped, "Well, this is turning out to be the perfect after-school special."

Delia then looked down crying and whispered, "Go ahead."

Ash confusedly asked, "What?"

"Catch him."

Ash gasped, "But you love Mimie. I couldn't imagine you two being seperated!"

"It's time we part ways. I need to resume doing my own responsiblilities. It's time that Mimie retired." said Delia with a tear.

"Twisted Ball!" Mimie was captured.

Meanwhile, as a person watched the activity in the house, he yelled, "What happened?"

Another voice answered, "It must have worn off or something."

"Well, it better work next time!" The figures disappeared from the scene.

As Delia looked at the flowers near the porch, she whispered to herself, "Goodbye, Mimie."

Daisy: That's the spirit. I'll go tell you!

Ash: When did you get here?

Misty: Guardians of Pokemon #4: The Water Orb.

Author's notes: Well, if you've made it this far, I'm glad you're enjoying this series. If you like these, wait until it gets even more interesting, perhaps starting with the next episode?

Also, if there's something you have a question about something in the fanfic, e-mail me or write it in a review.

One such question that has been asked is that why Ash is the Psychic Guardian. Let's just say there's a reason for everything in the story, and if I told you why, then I'd be spoiling the story. And I wouldn't want to do that!

The Water Orb

there's a new warrior. But who? you'll find out...

Seventeen legendary guardians

possessing powers far beyond comprehension

will soon arise and protect the world from a deadly force...

***

Frequently, Misty's life had gone into a standstill. Some days, she would just stare out of the window and think to herself, "Nothing ever happens around here anymore. Besides the fact that Ash is a Guardian of Pokemon or something... I wish something heart pounding would happen to me."

Suddenly, Lily's face appeared in front of the window.

"Aaah!" yelled Misty as she fell off the chair.

#4: THE WATER ORB

Misty jumped out of the window and yelled at her older sister, Lily, "What'd you do that for? Why are you here anyway?" Daisy and Violet, Misty's other sisters, ran to them saying, "No time for that now. Let's party!" Brock came in with a rose.

"Great idea, ladies! Might I say you three have matured very well?" He handed Daisy the rose and laughed, "Sorry, but I didn't have any daisies."

Misty bashed Brock's head and yelled, "That was lame!"

Delia came home to see partying at the house. She thought to herself, "That's the last time I leave them all alone."

She walked in and asked, "What's going on here? You're here too, Sam?" She looked at Professor Oak as he gulped. Daisy said, "Like we're totally sorry, Ms. P. We were just having a reunion with our sister Misty."

Delia said, "But Misty just visited you a week ago. And for the last time, my last name starts with a K!"

Daisy said, "Well, this is a special time for Misty..."

Delia asked, "What kind of special time?"

Violet replied, "I'd answer you, but then I'd be spoiling the rest of the story."

After the party, Daisy, Violet, and Lily requested time alone with Misty.

"Huh?" asked Misty confusedly.

"Misty, we had an actual reason for coming here." said Daisy as Lily interrupted, "Wait a minute."

She opened the door to reveal the others listening by the door. They all fell down.

"My lumbago!" exclaimed Professor Oak.

"Well, I guess since you're Misty's friends, it wouldn't hurt to let you in on the secret too." Daisy said as she led them to the sea route below Pallet Town.

Misty asked, "What? Are you going to tell me that you're great swimmers, because I couldn't really care less anymore."

Daisy said, "Just shut up for a freaking minute and watch!"

Daisy walked into the sea. All of a sudden, with a flash, she had majestically transformed into a mermaid. She looked like Ariel from "The Little Mermaid". Everyone gasped in awe as Misty yelled, "What?! You mean that you could turn into a mermaid and you've just told me now?! That is so cool!"

Daisy answered, "We didn't think you were old enough to be able to use the mermaid power effectively."

Misty grunted, "Fine, but at least tell me now how I can become a mermaid."

Violet took out a spherical object from her pocket.

Brock gasped, "Wow. How did you fit that in your pocket?" Ignoring Brock, Violet explained, "This is the Water Orb."

Daisy said, "It was a family heirloom. We were handed this Water Orb from our parents, and now it is time to give it to the youngest sister of the family."

Lily interrupted, "Go ahead. Use it and you'll become a mermaid." Meanwhile, several voiced watched from underwater. "Is that it?" "I think so."

Ash interrupted, "Wait a minute. How come we didn't see you use the Water Orb when you transformed, Daisy?"

"I'll explain that one, " said Daisy, "Eventually, after using it, a part of the Water Orb is absorbed into us, making us permanent caretakers of a part of the orb. In fact, since it had been used so much in the past, the water orb has been reduced into a small version of what it once was. Now, Misty. I think it's time that you used the Water Orb for yourself."

Misty took a deep breath and smiled, "Okay!" She walked over to the water, closing her eyes, and yelled, "Water Orb, turn me into a mermaid!" Suddenly, Misty felt her legs diappearing. Replacing her legs were fins. Upon opening her eyes, she looked at herself. Indeed, she had become a mermaid. She then yelled, "Wait a minute! Where are my clothes?"

Daisy laughed, "Well, you see, some thing's have to like, be sacrificed in order to become a mermaid."

Tracey snickered, "This I have to draw." He began drawing Misty naked. Misty covered her body blushing as Brock said, "Don't worry, I'll take this *** down."

Punching Tracey, Brock exclaimed, "And that's for taking away my screentime during the Orange Islands!"

Tracey gasped for breath yelling, "What the hell are you talking about, Brock?!"

Daisy then threw a bra at Misty. "From now on, whenever you are a mermaid, you will be wearing this clothing. Misty grunted putting it on as Violet said, "Let's give Misty some time to adjust to her new form."

Misty then started swimming gracefully under the water. She enjoyed herself and laughed, "It's so great and peaceful here underwater!"

Upon returning to land and handing the Water Orb back to Daisy, Misty exclaimed, "I love this! I guess it would seem that you finally did something nice for me."

Daisy laughed, "Well, that's enough swimming for today. You better hand the orb to me to be safe until you can absorb its power."

The voices watching then said, "Hmmm... How about now?"

The other voice looked up from the water and gasped, "

What's that?"

Suddenly, a large claw appeared and grabbed the Water Orb. A familar voice cackled.

"Prepare for trouble!"

"Make it double!"

"To protect the world from devastation!"

"To unite all peoples within our nation!"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love!"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!"

"Surrender now or prepare to fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

"Wobuffet!"

Ash gasped, "You have to be kidding me! Team Rocket?"

Jessie laughed in a giant Meowth balloon, "Long time no see, twerps!"

James followed, "We're here to steal your funny looking sphere."

Misty yelled, "What do you mean. You already stole it!"

Meowth said, "Hey, she's right. Let's vamoose."

James said, "Wait! Let's fight them first to show how strong we are!"

Meowth sighed, "Oh god..."

Meanwhile, as the figures watched in the water, they asked each other, "Who is that?"

"I don't know, but let's see how this turns out..."

"Pikachu! Thunder!"

Team Rocket cried, "Aw nuts!"

Meowth yelled, "You see what happened?!"

The balloon exploded as Team Rocket yelled, "Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!" The Water Orb fell into the sea.

Ash sighed, "Pathetic. You'd think they'd have gotten stronger by now."

Misty gasped, "The Water Orb! It's in the water. We have to rescue it!" Suddenly, a Golduck passing by bit the Water Orb and held it in its mouth.

Misty gasped, "No! My one chance to become a mermaid! To have something exciting happen in my life! Gone!"

She was so worried that a light blue mystical aura surrounded her.

Zabek watched this, then thought, "The Water Guardian..."

Suddenly, the Mystic Water pendant appeared on Misty's neck.

"Misty!" called out Zabek, "Shout 'Mystic Ocean!"

Misty asked, "What? Okay... Mystic Ocean!!"

Suddenly, a light enclosed her as she tranformed into the Water Guardian. She had light blue water droplets on her light blue clothing. Zabek cheered, "Alright! Another Guardian!" Misty looked at herself in awe.

"Wow. This day just keeps on getting better! Okay, Zabek... what do I do?"

Zabek yelled, "You could start by chasing the Golduck!"

Misty sighed, "If only I had some of the Water Orb with me now!" Daisy said, "Misty! You might have already absorbed the Water Orb!" Jupei said, "Right! Think, Misty!" Misty then yelled, "Mermaid Transform!" Once again, Misty transformed into a mermaid as Jupei cheered, "Alright, Misty!"

Misty tried to swim towards Golduck and couldn't keep up. Professor Oak sighed, "It's not good. Golduck's a very good swimmer."

No one paid attention to Oak as he said, "Ahh, screw it."

As Misty tried to swim after Golduck, it used Hyper Beam on her.

"Aahh!" yelled Misty as she fell into the bottom.

"Misty!" yelled Ash.

Misty thought to herself as she sank, "No, you can't give up Misty!" She then became enraged and swam to the top.

As Golduck recharged from Hyper Beam, Misty yelled, "Mystical Wave!" Suddenly, Misty released a powerful wave to hurt Golduck as it dropped the Water Orb.

"Mystic Ball!" Golduck went into the Pokeball as Misty caught the Water Orb.

The voices in the water sighed, "Well, I guess we should just give up on this. It shouldn't really matter to us anyway now that she knows how to use it."

They mysterious figures disappeared.

As Misty ran back to shore in human form, she exclaimed, "That was the best experience of my life. Even though at times, I was uncomfortable, "

Misty stared at Tracey, "I really think I'll enjoy becoming a mermaid."

Lily said, "Way to go, little sis! Guess you're not as useless as we thought.

Daisy interrupted, "And you don't even have to use the Water Orb to transform."

Misty stared at the Water Orb, "But there's so little of the orb left." Daisy smiled, "Just enough to give some to your potential child."

Ash blushed as Misty smiled looking at the orb, "I can't believe it. Now I'm a true Guardian of Pokemon!"

Delia: Make sure you'll be careful.

Tracey: What can go wrong on a train?

Brock: Hey, what's that?

Ash: Guardians of Pokemon #5: Train Trouble.

Author's Notes: Well, although I'd appreciate it if you reviewed, I'm glad you're reading this. Now, that there's a second Guardian, the number of possible captures at the moment are doubled. I hope you enjoy guessing at what Guardians will awaken next. I know I already know... Now a questions to answer that won't really spoil the story...

As you could probably tell from this episode, the voices that you hear throughout the episode and Team Rocket are two different voices. Now, doesn't this create mystery?

oh, i will be a little descriptive on the characters next time.

Right, this isn't a proper review. I've read it all and I really love this idea you have. I just think it could be written and set out a little better.

Lemme get this straight. Ash currently has on his team (not including Pikachu): Abra, Drowzee, Mr. Mime. Misty has on her team: Golduck.

Am I right? Well, I am also asking a question now. Why did Misty shout Mystic Ocean instead of Mystic Water?

I should've said "Mystic Water" last chapter. Anyway, let's continue..

Thank you Hunter and Dilsac for your reviews...

"Well, I think it's time for us to go," said Daisy.

"Thanks for letting me experience what it's like to be a mermaid... I wish I could repay you somehow... Hey! How about an overdue visit to the Cerulean Gym?"

"But didn't you just come last week." asked Violet as Misty replied, "I mean, a visit by all of us."

Misty's sisters thought about it for a minute and finally came to a decision.

"Alright. I guess you can come!" Misty cheered, "All right!" Delia said, "Well, I guess you can all go. I'll take care of Pikachu to keep me company."

Pikachu waved to them as they left, "Pika!"

#5: TRAIN TROUBLE

Daisy asked, "How many tickets should I buy?"

Misty started counting, "Let's see, there's Ash, Brock, James, Katie, Violet, Lily, you and me. That's eight tickets."

Tracey yelled, "What about me? Misty...? Misty!"

Tracey jumped in front of Misty as she sweatdropped, "Oh, that's right. You'd better make that nine."

Tracey sighed. Daisy bought the tickets and waited for the train.

"All aboard for Cerulean City!" said the conductor. "That's our train. Let's go." said Daisy leading the way as they got on the train.

Katie exclaimed, "This is exciting! Ash and James won't ever take me anywhere himself." Sitting behind Katie, Ash and James sweatdropped.

Katie sighed, "But I am getting hungry..."

"I guess I'll check my bag," said Misty opening the bag to reveal a surprise guest.

Zabek popped out as Misty gasped, "Zabek?"

Everyone started staring at her as she laughed, "Ummm... Nothing to see here!"

Ash yelled, "What are you doing here, Zabek? Don't you think your existence already creates some suspension?"

Zabek said, "Hey, cut me some slack. I fell asleep in the bag. Besides, if electric rats can roam freely, I have every right to as well."

Misty sighed, "What will we ever do with you Zabek?"

Katie sighed, "This trip is taking forever. When are we going to get there?" Tracey answered, "We should be near Cerulean Train Station. Suddenly, the train screeched to a stop. Zabek bumped into the seat in front of him.

"What was that for?!"

Lily complained to the conductor, "Like what's happening? We were just trying to get home, then all of a sudden you stopped so quickly! What's with that?"

Brock came up, "Yeah, the lovely lady wants an explanation! Then afterwards, we can perhaps go out for dinner?" Lily kicked Brock and yelled, "Keep out of this, Brock!"

Brock cringed from the pain and laughed, "A kick of love!" Lily sweatdropped.

Ash looked outside and saw a lot of rocks.

"Where did all the rocks come from?" Ash and Misty went outside to find the tracks surrounded by boulders.

"Well, I guess there's nothing to do but erode these rocks! Mystic Water!" yelled Misty as she transformed.

"Mystical Wave!" The wave destroyed some of the rocks as Ash cheered her on, "Good, keep on going!"

Brock then followed them and yelled, "What happened?! My precious Lily wants to know!"

Ash and Misty yelled in unison, "Oh, please!"

"Mystical Wave! Well, that's the last of them."

Misty smiled after her accomplishment. Suddenly, more rocks were dropped.

Misty sighed, "What? There's more?" Meanwhile, Katie yelled from inside the train, "Will you please hurry up so we can get to Cerulean City?"

Tracey sighed, "Let's occupy ourselves with a game."

Katie calmed down, "Okay."

Zabek looked at all the rocks and thought, "What's with the new rocks?"

Misty sighed, "Someone's obviously throwing rocks!"

Zabek then exclaimed, "Someone's using Rock Throw!"

Misty sweatdropped looking at Zabek.

Ash closed his eyes, "Maybe if I close my eyes and meditate, I can sense whoever's throwing the rocks." He then pointed at the top of a high cliff and yelled, "There!"

At the top of the cliff stood a Graveler using Rock Throw.

Misty yelled, "Alright! I've got him in my sights! Mystical Wave!" Graveler rolled down a hill and tried to roll over Misty.

Misty jumped out of the way and sighed, "Argh! This thing has an attitude! Mystical Wave!" Graveler sustained minor damage.

Ash suggested, "I'll preoccupy Graveler. Just get the rocks out of the way! Twisted Spoon! Confusion Beam!" The blast hit Graveler as it fell on its back.

"Mystical Wave!" More rocks eroded as Misty yelled, "One more time! Myst..."

Suddenly, Graveler jumped up onto the train tracks.

Misty gasped, "Out of my way!" She tried to push it but couldn't. Ash and Brock joined in but were of no help either.

Katie looked out the window as she stroked her black hair with her green hairbrush, "What's taking them so long?"

She had been playing a game of cards with Tracey as he sighed, "It doesn't help that the people helping us are idiots..."

Graveler tried to use another Rock Throw as Ash yelled, "Super Reversal Attack!"

The rocks came back towards Graveler as it rolled away from the track.

"Alright!" cheered the conductor as he began moving the train again.

"Hey! Wait for us!" Ash, Brock, Misty, and Zabek tried to jump on and managed to hop into the caboose.

They breathed a sigh of relief. Suddenly Graveler rolled in front of the track as it was suspended in midair. The train stopped again as Katie sighed, "Not again!"

Tracey encouraged her, "We'll get there soon. I'm sure of it!"
James laughed, "Hah! That's funny."

Tracey sweatdropped.

Lily sighed, "What now? I was hoping we'd make it to Cerulean City in time for dinner."

"Let's try pushing it again!" suggested Brock as he started pushing it again, "Come on, stupid Graveler! The girls want to get home!"

Misty asked, "Do you think he can really push it?"

Zabek yelled at Brock, "Give up! You'll never be able to push it!"

Brock sweated and yelled, "I have to try! Come on! It's for the girls!"

Suddenly, a brown aura appeared around Brock. A gray stone appeared in his left hand.

Jupei saw this and snickered, "Hey, Brock! Yell, Hard Stone!" As Brock attempted to push Graveler, he yelled, "Okay... Hard Stone!"

Brock transformed into the Rock Guardian. He had brown clothing with the symbol of rocks.

Ash looked at the Brock, Misty, and himself and cheered, "I can't believe it! All three of us are actually Guardians of Pokemon!"

Misty laughed, "Well, what a coincidence!"

Zabek yelled, "Now, Brock! Concentrate and attack that nuisance!"

Brock then thought, "Hmm... If I catch it, then it won't block the track... But how!"

Graveler used another Rock Throw as Brock suddenly shouted, "Rock Twister!"

A multitude of rocks slammed into Graveler weakening it. The conductor whined, "Any time now..."

Brock yelled, "Right! Hard Stone Ball!" Graveler was caught in the ball.

The conductor sighed with relief, "Finally! All aboard for Cerulean City!"

Zabek said, "Let's hurry back!"

Daisy cheered, "Impressive work, guys!"

"You did a great job, Brock!" said Lily as she kissed Brock on the cheek.
Suddenly, Brock blushed and fainted.

Violet asked, "Is he okay?"

Ash then laughed, "I guess he's just not used to that kind of thing."

Everyone laughed as Brock lay on the ground smiling.

I take one look at this and say no. No. I don't see near enough description. An eight-year-old could've written something with such low description. All this consists of is dialogue and and few other words packed together. Read some popular fics to see what fanfiction is really about.

Hey repliers... I guess I was really kind of lazy on description. I hope this doesn't happen. Now it's time for Chapter 6:

Seventeen legendary guardians

will soon arise and protect the world from a deadly force...

"We are now in Cerulean City!" announced the conductor.

"Finally!" Katie sighed with relief.

Daisy led the way, "Well guys. Let's head to the gym."

Meanwhile, in the gym, Misty's Horsea swam around carefree in the swimming pool.

"Horsea!" it muttered as it swam towards the pool's edge, a mysterious figure appeared and went up to Horsea. Horsea swam backwards with tension.

"Hooorrrsea..." cried Horsea as the mysterious figure only laughed, "Mwa ha ha ha ha."

#6: A WORSE HORSEA

"Well, we're here!" announced Daisy as she opened the door to the gym. Inside, an enormous Horsea stood in the pool. The Horsea was no more than 7 feet tall, which is almost the height of the gym.

Brock sighed sarcastically, "Way to take care of the place."

Misty cried, "Horsea?! What happened?!"

Tracey stared at it and said, "I think it was enlarged somehow... Oh well, it's certainly helping my drawings." Misty yelled at Tracey,

"Something's wrong with my Horsea, and all you can think about is drawing?!" Misty threw a bucket at Tracey.

Tracey fell backwards towards the water as Horsea picked it up. Katie then ran to play with the gigantic Horsea as Violet sighed, "Like this will be a problem for our swimming shows and such..."

Ash then thought of a plan, "Hey, I know someone who can help us!" He ran to the video phone and dialed Professor Oak's number using the number pad.

Oak grumbled, "What now, Ash? Do you want those videos back already? I'm not done whac..."

Misty punched Ash off the phone and yelled, "Professor Oak! We have a really big problem!"

Misty showed Oak the giant Horsea as Oak gasped, "Holy Miltank! That is one big pool you have there." Everyone facefaulted. Even Professor Oak on the screen facefaulted.

Misty yelled, "Are you blind? There's a gigantic Horsea in the pool!"

Oak studied it and came to a conclusion, "It's big." Everyone facefaulted again.

Ash sighed, "Hehe, Professor... You should considering retiring soon..."

Oak sighed, "Well, I can tell you this. That Horsea's enlargement was certainly not natural. Some outside force must have gotten to it. Here's my suggestion, if you promise to stop yelling at me! If you put it in a Pokeball, it could probably revert back to normal size."

Misty laughed, "Ha ha ha! That's actually a great idea! Okay... now where's Horsea's Pokeball?"

She started looking for the Pokeball as Zabek tapped her on the shoulder, "Maybe you want to use your Water Ball?"

Misty laughed, "Ha ha ha! Better idea! Mystic Water!" Misty tranformed.

Suddenly, one of the walls exploded. "What was that?" asked James as he realized this was probably going to be his only line in this episode.

"Prepare for trouble!" "Make that bubble... I mean trouble!"

"Meowth! That's right!"

Misty angrily yelled, "It's Team Rocket! Did you do this to my Horsea?!" Jessie asked, "Did what?"

She turned around and gasped to see a giant Horsea. "Whoa! What's with King Kong?!"

Misty yelled, "Hey, I'm watching my weight!"

Jessie yelled, "I was talking about the Horsea... fat ***."

Misty blushed, "Ehh, whatever. But you're not taking my Horsea!" Meowth said, "Are you kidding? Imagine what the boss could do with a giant Horsea... Yeah... nothing... But that doesn't mean we won't steal it!"

Team Rocket released missile launchers and laughed, "First, we'll gun the precious thing down!" Ash and Brock yelled, "Oh no you don't!"

"Twisted Spoon! Confusion Beam!"

"Hard Stone Power! Rock Twister!" Team Rocket fell down, then got back up.

James laughed. "Ha! You think that we'll go down that easily! We're used to this kind of suffering! We're probably invincible as far as you're concerned!"

Team Rocket fired the missiles at Horsea as it bounced off its huge body. Horsea cried and attempted to escape, but was too large to escape the pool. As Horsea moved and the missiles fired aimlessly, the gym started to fall apart. Daisy cried, "No! Our gym!"

"Hurry, Misty! Catch Horsea before someone's hurt!" signaled Ash as Misty nodded, "Right! Mystic Ball!"

The ball hit Horsea, but it didn't capture it. "What?!" wondered Misty.

Tracey answered, "It's probably too strong and powerful!"

Misty then shouted, "Well, I'm going to help Horsea! Mermaid Transform!" She went into the water and swam towards her giant Horsea.

"Alright, Team Rocket! If you're going to hurt Horsea, then you had better hurt me first!"

Jessie and James laughed, "Okay! No problem!" They fired the missiles at Misty and yelled, "This is your last chance to escape, twerp! You surely don't want to die for a Pokemon, do you?"

Misty remained in front of Horsea as Horsea suddenly released a giant Water Gun at Team Rocket.

They went flying off sighing, "I guess, when it comes down to things, they had a bigger gun. Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!"

Daisy then warned Misty, "All the moving Horsea did is causing the gym to collapse! We better escape while we can!"

Misty sighed, "But I have to save Horsea first..."

She turned towards Horsea and asked, "Please, Horsea... will you try to go in the ball?"

The ceiling was about to fall on Misty as Ash yelled, "Hurry up, Misty!"

Misty took a deep breath and yelled, "Mystic Ball!" The ball hit Horsea as it began to shrink. Finally, Horsea was captured in the Mystic Ball.

Misty smiled, "Thanks, Horsea."

Suddenly, the ceiling was about to hurt Misty as Ash ran in and grabbed her hand. As they escaped, the Cerulean City Gym collapsed.

Daisy cried, "Our gym!"

Violet comforted her, "Like, it's okay... We have insurance on it."

"So how did you get Horsea in?" asked Katie as Misty answered, "It just takes a lot of care for your Pokemon."

Katie sighed, "Sounds pretty corny to me..."

Misty sighed, "Heh, you're just too young to understand."

"Well, you had better be going home, " said Daisy holding their train tickets, "Don't worry about us. We'll make it with what we have and try to rebuild the gym."

Misty said, "Thanks, Daisy. If you're sure you'll be alright..."

Ash and the others boarded the train Suddenly, the train went to a stop.

"Now what?!" asked Katie as the conductor announced, "We are having technical difficulties."

He sighed at what he saw in the window, "Why me?"

For anyone not reviewing the story, I hope you're enjoying anway... even if I don't know that you're reading it because I can't see your screen from my computer... And you don't leave any kind of sign that you read it... *cough*

Finally, about James's one line in the story. When many characters are in the same place at once in my stories, I tend to neglect them. So if your favorite character doesn't have a speaking part, don't feel bad. Chances are, he or she wouldn't have probably said anything important. -_^

Stopped In Our Tracks

In a dark room, two mysterious people talked to each other.

"What?!" yelled one of them. "They reversed Horsea's enlargement?! You said your plan would work!"

The other person sighed, "So it backfired... okay? Don't worry though... There's a new Pokemon that has been enlarged. And it's blocking the train tracks..."

"You better not fail!"

#7: STOPPED IN OUR TRACKS

The conductor yelled, "Will somebody please tell me... what a giant tree is doing standing in front of the train?!"

Ash suggested, "Maybe I can nudge it out of the way."

He kicked it as it wiggled pushing Ash away. Everyone sweatdropped.

Brock then yelled, "Wait a minute. Did that tree just wiggle?"

Tracey sighed, "Well, whatever tree that is, it's no ordinary one..."

Brock yelled, "Maybe my rocks are strong enough to knock the tree down. Hard Stone! Rock Twister!"

The tree wiggled all the rocks away as they hit the train's sides.

The conductor almost fainted and yelled, "What the hell do you think you're doing?! You're going to break my precious train!"

"Do you want me to get rid of this tree or not?! Rock Twister!"

The tree wiggled away not only the rocks, but also the train. The conductor screamed at the top of his lungs as his train was pushed backwards.

"Every time something touches it, it just wiggles," sighed Brock.

"So what are we going to do?" asked Misty as the conductor came charging at the tree with an axe, "I'll tell you what we'll do!"

He tried to hit the tree with his axe as the tree wiggled him away.

Misty saw this idiocy and sighed, "I don't know who was abused more, the tree or the conductor."

Katie came out of the train yelling, "Hey, a little girl is trying to get home! What's taking so long?!"

"Hey, will you wait a minute?!" yelled James as Tracey sighed, "Stop yelling at her. She's a little kid."

Ash sighed, "Can we just think about this rationally for a second?!"

Everyone looked puzzled at Ash as he continued, "Umm... please."

Brock then said, "Maybe we can shrink it and move it out of our way! Hey, Misty! How did you shrink Horsea?"

Misty answered, "Well, I guess it was because I showed my love for it."

Brock then laughed, "Way ahead of you!"

He took out a box of chocolates and sang, "Looooving you...!"

The others sweatdropped watching Brock sing.

Misty grabbed his ear and yelled, "I don't know how to tell you this... but you're talking to a freaking tree!"

Ash sighed, "Well, that plan was a failure, but I have a better idea! How else do you show love for a tree?"

The conductor interrupted, "By cutting it down!" He tried to use a chainsaw as the tree wiggled him away.

Ash continued, "Anyway, maybe we should give it some water. If that won't show we respect the environment, I don't know what will."

James sweatdropped, "You want to water a tree, especially that one? We might as well walk home to Pallet!"

Everyone stood silent for a second while Katie jumped up and slapped James.

"Wait a minute..." chimed Brock, "That's not as bad of an idea as it seems... In fact, I have some of my own special Squirtle Water with me right now. Let's go ahead and water it."

Brock opened his bottle of Squirtle Water and poured it on the roots of the tree. Suddenly, the roots separated from the ground as eyes opened up on the tree.

It angrily yelled, "Sudowoodo!"

"Well, what do you know," said Tracey, "It's a Sudowoodo!"

Brock laughed, "Ha ha ha! That means I can capture it! Hard Stone Ball!" The ball wiggled off Sudowoodo.

Sudowoodo then became outraged as it began wiggling all over the place.

Ash gasped, "Uh-oh! We made it mad!"

"Aah!"

Everyone yelled as they were hurt by the wiggling roots.

"Mystic Water! Mystical Wave!" yelled Misty as she released a wave at Sudowoodo.

Sudowoodo became angrier and began to wiggle at a faster speed.

"Great job." sighed Ash sarcastically as Sudowoodo's giant roots tried to slam down.

"I don't get it," sighed Misty, "It's a rock type, not a grass type. It should be weak to water."

Ash interrupted, "Well, we did see the Squirtle Water anger it."

Sudowoodo's roots then slammed the conductor as he cried, "No! Somebody help me! I'm going to die!"

Misty sweatdropped, "Shall we help him?"

Brock sighed, "Might as well."

Ash then got an idea and yelled, "Twisted Spoon! Hey, guys! I'm pretty sure Sudowoodo shouldn't even have real roots!"

Everyone became confused as Ash laughed, "Watch and learn!"

He yelled at Sudowoodo to hit him as Sudowoodo became outraged and tried to slam him with his giant roots.

Before the roots hit Ash, he yelled, "Super Reversal Attack!" The roots slammed backwards into Sudowoodo as it began to tip over... towards the train.

The conductor almost began to cry as Brock yelled, "Hard Stone Ball!"

Sudowoodo shrank and was caught just in time before it could hit the train. Everyone breathed a sigh of relief as the conductor stood up and shook Brock's hand, "Thank you! You've helped my train twice! You deserve a gift for your gratitude!"

He handed Brock a medal. Brock stared at the medal happily as the conductor continued, "In fact... here's another one of my prized possesions!"

Brock saw this gift and threw away the medal.

Later on the train, Brock stared at his gift.

He smiled, "I guess being a Guardian finally paid off somehow."

He snickered at his rather revealing picture of Officer Jenny.

The House of Mirrors

Seventeen legendary guardians

will soon arise and protect the world from a deadly force...

A young girl, about Ash's age, wandered from another town to visit Pallet Town. Upon entering Pallet, she saw herself and bumped into the image.

She fell and sighed, "What's a mirror doing here?"

She got up and walked into another mirror.

She said to herself, "Today must not be a good day." She walked a little farther only to end up surrounded by her multiple reflections.

She yelled, "Where am I?!"

#8: THE HOUSE OF MIRRORS

After exiting the train station, Ash and the others headed for home. As they entered, they were surrounded by their reflections.

Ash sweatdropped, "Mom must have gone shopping again." James then looked in the mirror and laughed, "Hey, it's me!""

Misty bashed his head and yelled, "Of course it's you! It's a mirror!"

Katie gasped, "There shouldn't be all these mirrors everywhere! What if mom's in trouble?!"

James said, "Maybe she did buy all these mirrors."

"And why is that?" sighed Misty. "To buy a mirror farm!" Misty bashed James's head with a mallet.

Ash then suggested, "Let's start by looking for mom."

Tracey bumped into a mirror and said, "We'll never find her as long as we're trapped in this mirror maze."

Ash thought, "Hmm... As long as we all walk slowly and hug a mirror, we can..." He then sweatdropped as he saw everyone faint from bumping into a mirror.

Suddenly, they heard a scream.

Ash gasped, "I know that voice from somewhere!"

Ash and the others ran towards the scream and found a familiar face. She had brown hair covered with a red bandana. She had a white skirt with a red t-shirt.

"May?!" gasped Ash as May was on the floor.

May then cried, "Ash! My head hurts from bumping into these mirrors!"

Misty then looked at May and sighed, "May..." May looked at her and followed, "Uhh... Misty?"

Ash sweatdropped, "Whatever. What are you doing in Pallet Town anyway? It's pretty far from Hoenn."

May answered, "I was going to visit my brother..."

Ash asked, "Max? He's not here..."

May answered, "No, my other brother..."

Ash then sighed, "He's not here either."

"Really, he isn't?"

Suddenly, they heard yet another scream.

Ash recognized the voice again, "It's mom! Hurry!"

He ran into a mirror as Misty sighed, "How quickly we forget."

They found Ash's house surrounded by many mirrors.

Deila continued screaming as Ash gasped, "Mom! I'm coming!"

They ran into the house and found another maze of mirrors within. A shadowed figure ran around quickly as its reflection appeared through the mirrors. Tracey noticed this and thought to himself.

Eventually, Ash and the others found Delia's reflection.

Ash cried, "Mom!"

He ran towards Delia's reflection and bumped into a mirror.

Ash yelled, "Okay! This bumping bit is getting old! Can we just get to our mom?!"

Delia then heard him and gasped, "Ash?! You're back?!"

Ash finally found Delia and Pikachu sitting on the couch as Delia laughed, "Why hello, Ash..."

Ash hugged her, "Don't worry, you'll be okay. Why were you screaming?"

Delia then said, "Oh, I was just watching this soap opera on TV and... Hey, where did all these mirrors come from?" Ash let go of Delia and facefaulted.

The shadowy figure ran around again as a mirror appeared.

Tracey then said, "Hey, something's here. Maybe it's creating all these mirrors."

Ash saw the shadowy figure and laughed, "I'll bet you anything that it's a Pokemon!"

May became confused and asked, "Is there something I'm missing?"

Ash looked around and announced, "Okay, everyone. Be on the lookout for a little..."

Suddenly, May screamed and bumped into a mirror as she fell onto something. It was a blue Pokemon with black eyes.

The little Pokemon yelled, "Wynaut!"

Ash and Tracey looked at it with evil eyes and asked, "Why did you do this?!"

It laughed, "Wynaut!" Wynaut got up and ran.

Ash then followed it and bumped into a mirror. Angrily, Ash attacked the mirror as it cracked.

As the mirror cracked, he noticed Wynaut running into the cracked mirror.

Ash then yelled, "Follow me guys!" They jumped into a crack of the mirror as everyone gasped. They were in a crystallized room that was almost pitch black.

"May." a voice said.

They looked around as May saw a vision, "Brother?!" Max was wearing a green shirt with carpenter shorts. His black hair was shining due to the light.

She ran towards the vision as Ash grabbed her and yelled, "Don't do it! It's a trap!"

The vision then revealed itself to be Wynaut.

It laughed, "Wynaut!"

"That's It! Twisted Spoon!" yelled Ash as Wynaut used Mirror Coat.

Several reflections of Wynaut appeared around him as May gasped, "What did you just do, Ash?!"

Zabek shouted from his backpack, "Ash! Look closely at the Wynaut! One of them is moving before the others!"

Ash aimed at the center Wynaut and yelled, "Confusion Beam!"

Wynaut fell on the floor as Ash laughed, "Ready to be captured?!"

Wynaut sighed, "Wynaut?"

"Twisted Ball!" Wynaut was caught as the mirror world began to collapse. The dimension was shaking like an earthquake that was off the richter scale.

Misty gasped, "Hurry! Let's go!"

May just stood in one spot with her hand reaching out as Ash grabbed her hand and yelled, "Hurry! Let's go!"

They came out of the cracked mirror and finally got back to Pallet Town.

All the mirrors had disappeared as May cried, "I have made my decision! And I will stay here until my brother comes back!"

Delia smiled, "I'd be glad to give you a place to stay!"

Katie cheered, "Alright! A real female role model!"

Misty heard this and grabbed Katie and turned her upside down.

"Okay, I'm sorry! Put me down!!"

Ash thought to himself, "I have a feeling that this won't be the last time that we end up in the mirror world..."

...... Ash then yelled, "Where's that to be continued sign?!"

"Actually, Professor Oak wanted to see you and the others to tell you something."

Ash sighed, "What now?"

Professor Oak called them inside his lab, "Ever since you started, I had monitored your progress. When you went to Cerulean City, I realized that the world is a big place. You won't find everything in Pallet Town. That's why I have decided that I think it's about time you started traveling."

Ash looked at him with wide eyes and asked, "Traveling? Alright! I'd love to!" Misty and Brock laughed and smiled at each other, "I can't believe it. This would be like the old days!"

Professor Oak then handed Ash little devices.

"This is a little invention of mine that I call a Seeker. There are 17 of these. One for each of the other Guardians. Use them whenever one of you gets lost from the pack." Ash, Misty, and Brock each took them, keeping one each for themselves.

As Ash prepared his things for the adventure and walked to the leaving Pallet, James pouted with jealousy, "Why is it that you get to go on all the fun adventures?"

Ash asked, "Do you want to come, James?"

James asked, "Could I?"

Professor Oak then said, "Hey, Wynaut, I mean why not? In fact, you should go too, Tracey!"

Tracey thought, "Hmmm... I don't know if I should go, Professor. You may need my help..."

He then sighed as Oak already had Tracey's things packed. Oak thought to himself, "There's no way that guy is going to continue helping me..."

Katie laughed, "Hey, while everyone is deciding to come, can I come too?" Ash said, "I don't see why not..."

Delia then hugged Katie and said, "There's no way my little baby is going on your trip. Maybe she can when she's older... But no way is she going now!"

Katie became jealous and pouted, "That's not fair!"

Ash, Pikachu, Misty, Brock, James, and Tracey waved goodbye to Delia, Katie, May, and Oak as they waved back.

Brock asked, "Where to first?"

Ash then suggested, "Let's go westward!"

Everyone agreed, "To the west!"

"And now that Ash and his friends are going to resume traveling, who knows what adventures they'll have next?"

Misty gasped, "Who said that?"

They then found a man speaking as he said, "Oh, I'm the narrator."

Ash sighed, "Ummm... could you maybe not stalk us..."

The narrator cried and walked away, "Fine."

Ash then thought to himself, "Hmmm, I wonder what adventures we'll have this time..."

Author's Notes: Well, I hope you enjoyed the little plot twist at the end there. Trust me, that won't be the only time... Hehehehe...

This episode marks too milestones. The first one being that I have written stories for my first full week now... Yeah, not that big of a deal...

This episode also marks the first episode that a Hoenn Pokemon has been captured. I hope you cherish this episode, because this will be one of the only times you'll see a Hoenn Pokemon for a while... Since many of these stories sprouted from before the new Pokemon ideas, I'm unable to fit many Hoenn Pokemon in until a certain point....

Concerning updates, you should usually be able to enjoy a episode once a day. Sometimes, I will be too busy to post one, but you can understand. Rarely will I post multiple stories in one day, but who knows...?

Keep on reading and write a review if you have a chance!

Cave In

"Twisted Ball!"

"Wow! Good job, Ash!"

"You're so cool!" Familiar voices rang into James's head as he griped, "Stupid Ash! Just because he's a Pokemon master and a Guardian of Pokemon, and he has a girlfriend, and... "

James became frustrated and thought to himself, "Why did I go on this stupid journey anyway?"

He watched Ash having a good time with the others and sighed, "I may as well make the best of it."

#9: CAVE-IN!

Ash and his friends walked along the path west of Pallet Town.

James asked, "Are you sure that we should just be wandering aimlessly. I mean, yeah, sure we're going west, but where exactly?"

Ash then snickered, "You have to take things slowly. We'll end up wherever fate takes us!"

Ash and his friends came to a cave.

Brock looked at the map, "This must be Tohjo Falls!"

Ash laughed, "Ha ha. See, James. I told you we'd end up somewhere eventually."

James countered, "What are you talking about? All we did was follow the path!"

He saw the others going ahead of him in the cave as he gave up and joined them.

"Whoa, it's getting pretty dark," sighed Misty hugging Ash tightly.

James groaned at them and scoffed, "Oh come on. What could be the worst thing in here? Goblins?"

He made a scary face as Misty yelled, "Shut up, James! You're not scaring everyone!"

They saw Brock shivering as Misty continued, "Except Brock, but something's probably tied into his psyche."

Everyone heard a sound. Misty cried, "It sounds like footsteps!"

Ash then reassured her, "It's probably just ours. Don't worry, Misty."

The cave went pitch-black as Zabek sighed, "I think we'll have trouble getting through this cave."

Ash then said, "Wait a minute. We've been neglecting Pikachu this whole time!"

Pikachu grumbled, "Pika!" "We can use Pikachu's sparks to light the way." Pikachu made tiny sparks. The light revealed that there was a Pokemon following them the whole time.

Misty snickered, "Didn't I tell you there were footsteps?"

Ash recognized the Pokemon instantly, "It's a Larvitar! Remember? We had one of these for a while."

Ash tried to pet Larvitar as it bit his hand.

"Son of a...!" Brock then took over, "Leave it to me! It's a rock Pokemon, isn't it? Hard Stone! Rock Twister!"

A group of rocks hurt Larvitar as it cried, "Laaarrr!!!" It used Earthquake. Suddenly, the ground rumbled beneath them and caused cracks in the ground. Meanwhile, rocks fell from the top of the cave.

"I don't think this cave can take anymore earthquakes! You should capture it before it uses Earthquake again!" yelled Tracey.

Brock nodded and yelled, "Hard Stone Ball!"

Larvitar went inside the ball as everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, it escaped again and screeched, "Laaaaaaarr!"

"Great! We just made it angrier!" sighed Brock.

Zabek thought, "Hmmm, why wouldn't Larvitar go in?"

"Well, maybe I should continue pelting it with rocks! Rock..."

Misty interrupted him alerting him, "Wait! Look at Larvitar! You of all people should know that it can't take anymore damage!"

Brock noticed Larvitar's bruises and cuts and gasped, "Horrible! Who could do such a thing to it?"

Misty yelled, "It was you, dumbass!"

Brock realized this and laughed, "Oh yeah! I guess it was me!"

Brock attempted to get close to Larvitar as it used Earthquake again.

Tracey saw the cave collapsing and yelled, "Hurry! We have to forget Larvitar and get out! Now!"

They tried to escape from the cave. Before reaching the entrance, rocks from the ceiling fell blocking their escape. They were trapped in between a blocked exit and Larvitar.

"Well, we're screwed," sighed Zabek as an angry Larvitar came towards them and used Earthquake. The ground cracked beneath them as they fell through a hole.

Ash woke up after their fall to find everyone else down on the ground. He looked around, "Where am I? What happened?"

Ash woke up the others.

"We have to get out of here!"

They looked up and saw a seemingly endless hole above them.

James sighed, "We must have fallen through that." Brock punched his fists together, "That's right! That Larvitar did this to us! It's time for payback!"

Tracey sighed, "First, we should concentrate on getting out of this cave!"

Ash suggested, "We could go up! If only one of us could fly..."

He stared at Zabek's wings and snickered. Zabek then gasped and yelled, "No way!" Ash attached a rope to Zabek and the others.

"Zabek! Let's fly!"

Zabek flapped its wings and struggled to get up. He panted, "I can't do it! You guys are too fat. I only weigh like ten pounds. What do you expect from me?"

Misty then grabbed Zabek's cheeks and sighed, "You good for nothing...!"

"Hey!" called out James as he noticed Larvitar on the ground. "Guess who fell through with us."

Larvitar woke up and saw them angrily staring at him. He merely laughed at them.

"Hey, shut up! It's your fault we're trapped!" cried Dash as he tried to tackle it.

Ash then blocked him and yelled, "Leave it to me! Twisted Spoon! ConfusionBeam! The blast hit Larvitar as James punched Ash, "What do you think you're doing, Ash?! I was going to attack it!"

Ash then sighed, "But I'm the Guardian around here!"

James cried and strangled Ash, "But it's no fair! You're everything already! Can't you just let other people have a chance?!"

Suddenly, an orange aura surrounded him and a sack of sand was in his pants pocket.

Zabek laughed, "Alright! I guess we will be able to escape after all! James! Yell 'Soft Sand'!"

James let go of Ash and yelled, "Soft Sand!" The pebbles of sand surrounded his orange attire as he gasped, "I don't believe it... Woohoo! I showed you, Ash!" Ash sweatdropped.

James looked at Larvitar and laughed, "Now, time to end your wrath!" Tracey then thought, "That's right! Larvitar is also a ground type. Maybe Dash can catch it."

"Sand Ball!" yelled James as Larvitar was caught. Suddenly, Larvitar escaped again as Zabek thought, "Hmmm... I don't know if this is a matter of persistence or not... Dash! You may as well try attacking it!"

James thought for a minute as the attack came to him. "Sand Surround!" Larvitar was blinded and scratched by the multitude of sand particles in the air.

"Perfect! Larvitar's lost, and I assume the sand is hurting him... so... Sand Ball!" Larvitar escaped from the ball again as Brock yelled, "Hard Stone Ball!" Larvitar escaped from Brock's ball as well.

Brock sighed, "I thought it would have worked if I came from behind and saved the day."

Ash comforted him and said, "Well, it's not really your episode to shine too." Brock miserably looked down.

Zabek then said, "Hey! Larvitar is a dual-type, right!"

Tracey answered, "I believe we had confirmed that multiple times now..." Zabek continued, "I completely forgot! Hear me out! Brock! James! This is how to capture stronger dual types! When one ball isn't enough, you need a combined ball! To do that, you'll need to synchronize your powers."

Brock and James appeared confused as Zabek shouted, "Just try to capture it as usual, but then yell 'combine'!"

Larvitar was also confused as Brock and James stared at it and yelled, "Hard Stone Ball!"

"Sand Ball!"

"Combine!!"

The two balls merged into one dual colored ball. The ball hit Larvitar and finally caught it. Brock and James did a high-five, "Yeah!"

Tracey said, "What about getting out of here?" Zabek then stared at James, "I believe James can do it! Just think about it."

Suddenly, just like his other attack, this next one came to James.

"Dig Drill!"

James was able to dig a tunnel out as everyone cheered.

As James dug, he thought to himself, "Take that, Ash! Your so-called twin can do something great."

They followed James through the tunnel which then led to a strong river current going down a waterfall.

"Aaaaahhh! Great going, James!"

Author's Notes:

I may consider posting James's origin one of these days. (Yes, he has a backstory.) I don't know whether it will be a separate fic, or somehow incorporate itself into this story. But someday, I will let you know what is up with James. For now, I'm just happy that I was able to develop his character a little.

Another question that arose thanks to last chapter was May's "other" brother. I won't tell you directly, but here's a hint. It has nothing much to do with the show, but it is more related to the other forms of Pokemon (games, manga, etc.) That's all about that for now.

Finally, it has come to me that you don't really know how most of the characters look like. I will leave it up to your imagination for now what they look alike. (You could probably guess at the older versions of the TV characters) Eventually, I will try to either describe them fully or maybe draw them in the future.

"Aaaaaaahhh!" yelled Ash and the others as James led them to a falling waterfall in Tohjo Falls Cave.

"How are we going to escape this?!" asked Misty as Ash sighed, "We don't."

They all fell down the waterfall which divided into separate river currents. At the mouth of one of the rivers, Zabek woke up after being knocked unconscious.

He flew around, "Guys? Where are you?"

Surrounding Zabek were numerous waterfalls all leading to what seemed like the center where he stood.

"This cave is bigger than I thought. Ash! Where are y..."

Suddenly, someone had grabbed him as he yelled, "Let gmmmph!"

#10: THE FALL AND RISE OF TOHJO FALLS

Pikachu found Ash on different river and woke him up, "Pika!"

He electrocuted Ash as he stood up and asked, "What?! What?! Oh, hey Pikachu. Where are the others?"

Pikachu could not answer. The two walked around the olarge cave as Ash saw several waterfalls, "That's right! We fell off the waterfall! We must have been knocked unconscious and sepearated from the others."

Pikachu looked sad and cried, "Pika." "Or worse! They might have died!" Pikachu shook its head and yelled, "Pika!"

Ash then got an idea, "My Seeker!" He took out his device as static came from it. "Guess it's not waterproof."

Meanwhile, at yet another sector of the cave, Misty woke up floating in the water. "Eh. Hey! Mystic Water! Mermaid Transform!" She transformed into a mermaid and swam through the river current.

"Where's Ash? And all the other unimportant characters to a lesser extent." She bumped into James's legs which were in the water.

Dash looked down and asked, "Who's unimportant?"

Misty gulped and said, "Oh, it's just you Dash."

"Jenny, Joy, Jenny, Joy..." Brock dreamt at another river as he woke up and yelled, "Ivy!"

He then looked around and pondered, "Where am I?"

He found Tracey sleeping right next to him and gasped, "No! I couldn't! I wouldn't! It would have been a first for me, but no!"

Tracey stood right behind him and asked, "What are you mumbling about, Brock?" Brock gasped and backed away, "Nothing Tracey! Mind your own business."

Tracey sweatdropped, "Right. Hey, look at all these waterfalls. Who knew Tohjo Falls was full of them?"

James stared at Misty as a mermaid as Misty yelled at him, "What are you staring at?! Look, we better look for the others. I'll swim around. You dig a hole."

James blanked out for a minute then said, "Yeah, okay. Soft Sand! Dig Drill!" He dug a tunnel through a rock barrier.

Meanwhile, Misty noticed a splash in the water and asked, "Huh? Ash?" She followed the splashes.

Ash ran to the top of a waterfall and sighed, "No, it's a dead end." Suddenly, something had climbed the waterfall as Misty realized she couldn't climb the waterfall.

The thing then knocked Ash down into the waterfall as Ash shouted, "Not again!"

Misty saw Ash falling and gasped, "Ash!" She rescued him from the water and brought him to land.

As she was about to give Ash CPR, he woke up and gasped, "Misty?!"

Misty yelled and swam back. "What happened, Ash?" "Something attacked me at the top of the waterfall."

Misty gasped, "It must have been the same thing that attacked me."

Meanwhile, someone had been watching them from a distance.

She pushed the thing back down the waterfall as Ash gasped, "It's coming back down!"

Brock and Tracey continued walking around aimlessly. "We'll never find them!" Brock said as James came up from beneath him.

Brock held his crotch and gasped, "Ooh!"

Tracey cheered, "It's Dash! We're saved!" He looked at Brock on the floor and sighed, "Well, at least most of us..."

James then said, "Follow my tunnel. It leads to the base of the waterfall."

"Twisted Spoon! Confusion Beam!" yelled Ash as he tried to hit the splashing nuisance. His attack missed as Misty chased it in the water. She caught up with it and grabbed it. Recognizing its face, she gasped, "A Seaking!" Seaking used Waterfall and traversed the waterfall. Misty attempted to keep hold of its slimy body. However, the pressure of the waterfall attempted to bring her down.

Ash cheered her on, "Keep your grip!"

"I can't hold on to it any longer!" yelled Misty as the waterfall continued pouring on her!

Meanwhile, James found a dead end in his tunnel.

Brock and Tracey sighed, "What's the hold up?"

James replied, "I can't dig this way anymore."

Brock sighed, "Well, it's getting cramped in here, so just dig anywhere."

James aimed upwards and yelled, "Dig Drill!"

He was at the top of the waterfall and had made a giant hole trapping all the water in the hole which pushed them backwards.

Misty gasped as the waterfall stopped falling. Seaking, no longer able to climb the waterfall, fell into the empty river. Seaking, attempted to splash away, failed in its efforts as an angry Misty looked down upon it.

"Mystic Ball!" yelled Misty as the ball captured Seaking. James, Brock, and Tracey ended up at the base of the waterfall at the end of their tunnel. James asked, "So what did we miss? Anything important?"

Ash and the others walked along Tohjo Falls once again reunited. Upon reaching the waterfall leading to light, Tracey asked, "How do you suppose we climb this waterfall?"

Misty sent out Seaking and grabbed onto it. "Grab onto me." Brock thought about it, "Hmmm..."

Misty sighed, "Except you Brock. You grab my tail."

"But it's slimy," sighed Brock.

Following Misty, everyone made it up safely to the top of the waterfall leading to the exit. Ash asked, "Aren't we forgetting something?"

Everyone gasped, "Zabek!"

Suddenly, Zabek was thrown to the ground. "Where were you, Zabek? And how did you get up there?" asked Ash as he looked up and saw a girl with large ears standing on the top of a cliff.

He asked, "Who are you?!"

"Meow?" purred the girl.

Misty then gasped, "She meowed. Is she one of those catgirls I've heard about so much? I thought they were only myths."

She then whispered, "I'm just here to help. You left this poor guy alone, so I rescued him." She pointed to Zabek as Ash asked, "But what are you doing here?" The catgirl ran away before answering.

Brock sighed, "That was the perfect chance to get with a real girl..."

Misty roared at him, "What?! Well, it's not like it was your species anyway!"

Zabek thought about the girl's appearance, "Hmmm... What was up with her?"

Eventually, Ash and the others reached the exit of Tohjo Falls and found a beautiful meadow.

Misty yawned, "Finally! We're out of that scary cave!" Ash breathed in some fresh air and cheered, "We're in Johto!"

Author's Notes: It's nice to see that I have some reviews popping up. I appreciate it.

Now for some unanswered questions. Another hint for the May's brother conspiracy. I didn't mean that it had nothing completely to do with the show. It's just that it was never addressed anywhere else besides the games and especially the manga. If you still don't get it, then just think about how small Pallet Town is anyway, and some ideas should pop up.

Until next time!

Roller Baiting

Sorry for the long wait...

"As you can see, those other bums couldn't do a thing to help us defeat the enemy, " whispered a cloaked person in a dark room.

"But now that it's my turn, you can consider them eliminated!"

He played a flute as an odd creature with wheels rose from a portal in the ground.

"I would like you to meet my friend of the day, Roller!"

#11: ROLLER BAITING

Ash and company ran joyfully to New Bark Town. After spending quite a long time in Tohjo Falls, the group had finally made it to an actual town.

Ash cheered, "We're finally here in Johto! Where to first?"

Brock replied, "Let's leave. There's no Pokemon Center here. No Nurse Joy equals no fun."

Approaching the exit, they discovered a giant hill blocking their way. Tracey sighed, "Well, we could always visit the lab. I've always wanted to meet Professor Elm."

"To the lab then!" said Ash leading the way.

As they headed to Elm's lab, a pair of eyes watched them and revved its wheels.

"Professor Oak alerted me that you might be arriving," greeted Elm with a smile.

Tracey ran up to him with his sketchbook and yelled, "Elm! You have to look at my drawings! Please!"

Elm sweatdropped, "I can see why Oak says it's a hassle keeping you around. Tracey, isn't it?"

Tracey asked, "What? You mean the Professor actually talks about me? That's great!"

Elm rolled his eyes.

Ash then asked, "Professor, do you know what a giant hill is doing there blocking one of the exits from the town?"

Elm answered, "You mean that dirt hill over there?" he pointed to the giant hill clearly visible from the window. "That hill goes a couple of years back."

"The story is that there was a trainer with a Donphan. This Donphan was very wild however and would frequently roll over its trainer. Eventually, the trainer decided to abandon it here in New Bark Town. Eventually, that Donphan became outraged at its trainer and started using Rollout constantly on the ground surrounding the city. Dirt built up from its constant rolling and eventually made a large hill. To this day, it is rumored that the Donphan is still on that hill using Rollout. I'd check it out, but personally, I'm scared!" explained Elm.

Tracey said, "Wow, Professor! You're a genius!"

Ash then stood up, "If it is there, we have to stop it as our duty as Guardians!"

James yelled, "Are you crazy?! Have you ever seen a Donphan? An angry one could kill us with its rolling!"

Ash replied, "Well, it doesn't matter because you're coming either way."

James tried to run away as Pikachu electrocuted him.

While Tracey and Pikachu stayed behind to be with Professor Elm, the Guardians traversed the hill.

Misty hugged Ash, "I hope that Donphan doesn't get us!" Ash blushed,

"Don't worry, Misty! Ha ha ha!" James, who was being carried with a rope, sighed at this sight.

At the back of the group, James then noticed smoke moving around. He then called out, "Ummm... I think I see Donphan there..."

Nobody listened as the smoke moved closer to him. "Guys...?"

He then pushed the others out of the way as a rolling Donphan passed them by. Sand rose from where it rolled as everyone became blinded.

"Soft Sand!" yelled James, "Sand Surround!"

The sand was blown away as everyone noticed Donphan.

Brock yelled, "It's here!"

Dash sweatdropped, "Well, duh."

Donphan attempted to use Rollout at them as Dash yelled, "Dig Drill!" and dug a hole in the ground.

Donphan fell in as Dash laughed, "Time to capture you!"

He looked down the hole and noticed that Donphan had escaped by rolling. Confusedly, he looked around and discovered Donphan rolling behind him.

"Everyone! Transform!" yelled Ash.

"Twisted Spoon!"

"Mystic Water!"

"Hard Stone!"

The three transformed into Guardians.

"Confusion Beam!" Donphan felt a small blast and rolled towards Ash.

"Mystical Wave!" Donphan rolled the water away.

"Rock Twister!"

The rocks hit Donphan, but he continued rolling.

Brock gasped, "I can see why the trainer gave up on this Donphan! He's unstoppable!"

James then looked at Donphan and said, "It's time to save the day..."

Suddenly, Donphan bumped into someone.

This someone cackled, "Ha ha ha! Are you the Guardians of Pokemon?"

Misty yelled, "What's it to you?"

"I... am... Roller!" cackled the odd monster as she did a pose.

Ash asked, "Is that a Pokemon?"

Brock replied, "I don't think Pokemon are this retarded..."

Donphan roared at Roller and attempted to use Rollout. Roller released giant wheels and rolled them towards Donphan. Donphan received bruises and roared.

Ash yelled, "Stop hurting that Donphan!"

Roller cackled, "Ha ha! I don't need you to tell me what to do!"

She rolled giant wheels towards Ash as he yelled, "Confusion Beam!" Roller barely felt a scratch as Ash gulped, "It's not very effective..."

Misty and Brock then ran up, "Let us help!"

"Mystical Wave!"

"Rock Twister!"

Roller yelled, "Was that supposed to hurt?"

Misty and Brock gulped.

James yelled, "It's up to..."

Suddenly, Donphan charged at him from behind, and he fell. Donphan attempted to roll into Roller. Roller rolled to a far location and threw wheels at Donphan.

Ash yelled, "I said to stop hurting Donphan!"

Suddenly, a scepter had materialized in Ash's hand.

He gasped, "What's this?"

Zabek noticed this and answered, "So the rumors were true... Ash! That's your personal Twisted Scepter! You can use it to defeat Roller!"

Roller tried to roll over Ash as Ash showed her the scepter. Roller saw this and tried to roll away.

Ash then yelled, "Psychic Scepter Extermination!"

A great wave of Psychic energy bursted from the Scepter.

As the blast hit Roller, she yelled, "This isn't the end!"

The blast killed her.

Ash and the others approached Donphan, who had been calmed down by the attacks from Roller. Ash smiled, "Don't worry! Everything will be alright, Donphan. James! Capture it!"

James sighed, "Sand Ball!"

Donphan was captured in the ball.

He then pondered, "What I don't get is that how an episode which should have been clearly about me end up with you getting a new power?"

Everyone looked confused as James merely sighed, "Err... never mind."

Misty then said, "Now to get rid of this hill! Mystical Wave!"

The dirt became mud as Brock yelled, "Rock Twister!"

The mud was caught in the barrage of rocks and spread out to flatten out.

Zabek cheered, "A job well done! Now let's pick up Tracey and get out of here!"

Back at the lab, Tracey had been talking the whole time while Professor Elm fell asleep.

"Oh, you're back already?" asked Tracey.

Elm asked, "How did it go? Did you stop Donphan?"

Ash laughed, "Of course! In fact, we also got rid of that hill problem. See?" He pointed to the flattened hill as Elm clapped, "I'm impressed, Guardians."

Everyone asked, "Huh?"

Elm corrected himself, "I mean, guys..." He whistled a little.

Ash announced, "We're going to go on from here, Professor Elm. It was nice visiting you."

Tracey smiled, "I hope to visit you again, Professor!"

Elm sighed, "Sure, whatever."

As he watched them leave his laboratory, he looked at the flattened hill and whispered to himself, "Goodbye, Donphan. I'm sorry I couldn't train you better."

Author's Notes: Thanks for reviewing! I hope many of you read all the way to the unforseeable end.

Anyway, I have received a complaint that Tracey and James are treated unfairly. We all know that Tracey has some bad karma already for having replaced Brock on the Orange Islands. Dash however, is a different story. Obviously we have some kind of sibling complex going on here. The way I figure it, the more a character is hated, the more some people will love him or her. Hate equals love, get it? Will it stay like that forever? Only time will tell.

Until next time!

Oh, yeah. When it comes to description in fanfiction, I suck.

"Sorry," answered Ash. "I just had a bad dream."

Tracey looked out at the sunny weather from inside, "It's about time we started leaving."

Ash then shouted, "Alright! Let's go!"

#12: BIRDS IN THE BRAIN

Ash and the others left from a Pokemon Center they had stayed at on their way to Cherrygrove City. James then suggested, "Hey, if there's so many places on the map, then why did you choose to go straight to Cherrygrove City?"

Ash replied, "But that would be like filler, wouldn't it?"

James confusedly backed away, "Never mind."

Something rustled in the trees as Zabek looked up, "I think something's up there watching us."

Everyone looked up and saw nothing. Ash laughed, "Looks like someone's being overly suspicious."

Zabek sighed, "I know I heard something up there!"

All of a sudden, a Spearow had come flying down from the tree.

Ash gasped, "A Spearow!"

Spearow aimed its peck at Ash as he gasped, "Don't hurt me!"

He tried to run from the Spearow.

As Spearow was about to use Peck, Ash screamed, "Pikachu!"

However, Pikachu was not there.

Ash's heart beat as he looked around. Nobody was there to help him. Images of the first day that he left on his Pokemon journey appeared. He remembered how the flock of Spearow had attacked him and Pikachu. His first adventure was one of the biggest adventures of his life. Images of that moment flashed before his eyes. Suddenly, as Spearow pecked Ash, he blanked out and fainted.

Brock asked, "Do you think Ash is alright?"

Tracey replied, "Yeah, probably."

Misty then felt a chill up her spine, "Something tells me that Ash is in trouble! Let's go after him."

They gasped at the sight of Ash on the floor with a Spearow walking around it.

Misty ran over to Ash and yelled, "Ash! Wake up!"

"Come on, Ash! This isn't funny!" She became angry and yelled, "Water Power! Mystical Wave!"

Attempting to drown the Spearow, Spearow flew up and began to call its fellow Spearow for battle.

A flock of Spearow arrived as Zabek yelled, "What are you doing?! RUN!"

The flock of Spearow chased them. Misty carried Ash and yelled, "James! Any special cities that you'd recommend us to visit?"

James looked at the map and said, "Well, there is a medical school around here!"

Brock stared at the map, "No way. Hmmm... I guess you're right. How unusually convenient..."

On the way to the hospital in the school, Brock stopped to look at a spa for Nurse Joys.

"Ooh la la," said Brock looking in.

Misty grabbed Brock by the ear and yelled, "No time!"

They found a hospital for doctors in training and ran inside. Inside Misty gasped, "Wait a minute! I've seen you before!"

The doctor smiled, "Well, I don't believe I've met you before little missy. My name is Doctor Proctor."

Misty then recalled, "Yes, we have met. Once, when there was a Pokemon emergency..."

Dr. Proctor laughed, "Oh, that must have been one of my many cousins."

Meanwhile, another Dr. Proctor ran through the entrance where they stood. Everyone sweatdropped.

"Anyway, what seems to be the problem, missy?" Misty yelled, "Can't you see? There's someone who needs help, and he's on my back!"

Dr. Proctor saw a faint Ash and gasped, "Oh no! We have to take him to the hospital!"

Everyone stared at him as he corrected himself, "I mean the emergency room... Yeah!"

Dr. Proctor examined Ash as everyone waited in the waiting room patiently. Dr. Proctor then came out and said, "Bad news. Ash is dead... Just kidding!"

He laughed as Misty punched him in the stomach. "How dare you toy with our emotions!"

She kicked him multiple times as the boys sweatdropped and backed away.

Dr. Proctor then got up and brushed his coat, "Anyway, Ash is still in serious condition. I'm afraid he is in a coma. Is there anything that has been haunting him recently?"

"Well, he did have a nightmare this morning..." replied Misty as Dr. Proctor asked, "What was it about?"

"I don't think he told us... But I do recall him yelling out Spearow!" Dr. Proctor thought, "Hmmm... maybe we should call in a psychologist to find out what's wrong..."

Ignoring Dr. Proctor, Misty said, "That's it! It must have been Spearow that's been bothering Ash! It all makes sense!"

Zabek then said, "Well, in any case, we should capture it. Who knows? That may bring Ash out of his coma."

Tracey sighed, "One problem. We're out of Pokeballs..."

Misty laughed, "Well, I think we can capture the Spearow another way!"

Tracey asked, "You mean the..."

Misty nodded, "The Flying Guardian can capture Spearow."

Tracey asked, "But who's the Flying Guardian."

Misty continued laughing, "He he he he, I bet the Flying Guardian's closer to us than we think!"

She pointed to Zabek as he sweatdropped, "What? Me?!" asked Zabek. "How ridiculous!"

Misty said, "Let me reason it out... Look, you can fly right? So, why shouldn't you be the Flying Guardian?"

Zabek yelled, "Look at me! I'm a freaking stuffed animal!"

They went outside towards the trees near the Spearow. The Spearow watched them with vigil eyes and were ready to swoop down.

Everyone winked to Zabek and left him alone with Spearow. Zabek sighed, "I'm going to kill Misty for this, but Sharp Beak!"

Nothing happened as the Spearow pecked Zabek. Everyone sweatdropped as Zabek yelled, "Curse you, Misty!"

Tracey sighed, "I guess Zabek wasn't the Flying Guardian!"

Eventually, the Spearow spotted the others and flew to them.

"Hard Stone!" Brock yelled transforming, "Rock Twister!"

Some of the rocks pelleted Spearow to the ground.

James yelled, "Uhhh... Soft Sand! Sand Surround! I guess..." The flock of Spearow used Wing Attack and blew the sand back towards Dash.

Tracey sighed, "What are you doing, everyone?! You're supposed to be catching the Spearow for the Professor!"

Misty then sighed, "I don't see you helping, Tracey!"

Tracey looked miserably at the ground, "You don't understand, Misty. If I could help, I would... I'd do anything for Professor Oak."

Suddenly, a white aura surrounded him.

Zabek breathed a sigh of relief, "Phew. I won't let you guys get away with letting Spearow attacking me! Tracey! Yell 'Sharp Beak'!"

Tracey nodded and yelled, "Sharp Beak!"

The symbol for feathers surrounded his white apparel as he gasped, "I can't believe it! This is so cool!"

Everyone continued holding the Spearow off as Tracey announced, "Leave it to me! Uhh... What do I do?" Zabek facefaulted.

"You're supposed to learn on your own!" yelled Zabek as Tracey gasped, "That's ridiculous, isn't it?"

Several Spearow then came after him as he suddenly yelled, "Wind Blow!" A mighty gust blew the Spearow into a tree. They bumped into the tree and were knocked unconscious as Tracey yelled, "Beak Ball!" He captured the Spearow.

Misty smiled, "Hooray! We finally caught Spearow! Now Ash must be awake!"

Tracey then sighed, "Hey, aren't you going to thank me or something?" Meanwhile, at the base of the tree were the Spearow fell, one of the Spearows awoke to see that its fellow Spearow were down. It then cawed loudly as something awakened.

. Proctor sighed, "I'm sorry, missy. Ash is still in a coma."

Everyone gasped as Misty asked, "Why? We captured Spearow! That should have waken up Ash!"

Dr. Proctor yelled, "What?! Do you think this is a magic trick? Well, it's not! He's in a coma because something's troubling him in his psyche... It's all in the mind."

Misty left the hospital crying. James tried to cheer her up and said, "Hey, I bet that there's a higher form that's causing my brother to be this way..."

Misty asked, "Like what?"

Suddenly, a giant flying thing in the distance came towards them. Tracey looked outside and gasped, "Is that who we have to defeat?!"

Misty saw the thing up close as it cawed fiercely. Misty gasped, "Of course we're supposed to capture this Pokemon! It's the evolved form of Spearow! Fearow!"
