Pokemon Heart Gold or Soul Silver?

With the announcement of the new games,, when it comes out, which one are you gonna get, personally I'll get Soul Silver when it comes out in English and import Heart Gold.

I pick SoulSilver because Soul is an awesome name and Silver is somewhat my fav.

To start, I will get Soul Silver, being the one I bought first originally. But, through some sort of odd case, I will invariably pick up a copy Heart Gold a while later. I Remember I bought Silver straight from Nintendo. Still have those pins around here somewhere...

Soul Silver for me. Why? Because I grew up with Silver, and I think Soul Silver is an awesome name. Heart Gold is very cool too, and I might as well get both - but Soul Silver will be my main.

Soul Silver because of Lugia. I never had gold or silver because when they came out, I didn't know anything about pokemon. My first pokemon game was fire red.

It depends on what type of pokemon will be exclusive on those games.

I'm planning to get both though. Plus Platinum as soon as it is released outside USA.

I'm going to get Heart Gold...why? Because I like Ho-oh a bit better. But you all are forgetting one factor as well, in the original Gold and Silver, both legendaries were available through the same game...and the bird that wasn't on the cover was the stronger one you obtain later on through the game.

Actually, you could get the legendary of your version earlier, at a lower level. This was a good thing though, because that meant it still had its signature move. You didn't have move relearners back then.

People don't realise an important factor.... Like Lugia? HeartGold. Like Ho-oh? SoulSilver. This because in HG, you get a lvl.40 Ho-oh and a lvl.70 Lugia, and in SS exactly the other way 'round. That's why I'll be picking HG, 'cause Lugia>>>>Ho-oh.
