About to start a new game on HG I need some help deciding my team.

Adamant
-Waterfall
-Ice Fang(do't feel like breeding or getting BP)
-EQ
-Crunch

Ampharos
Modest
-TBolt
-Signal Beam
-Power Gem
-Focus Blast

Nidoking
Adamant
-EQ
-Megahorn
-Rock Sldie
-poison Jab

Pidgeot
Jolly
-Brave Bird/Fly
-Return
-U turn
-Steel Wing

I am still in need of a grass and fire type.

My fire choices are slim since I want it to be a special attacker. I was thinking of using Exeggutor for my grass type but it is a pain getting the evolutionary stones.

Read on Ice Fang for Feraligatr I don't feel like breeding it. And why toxic on Pidgeot when it can use Steel Wing to help it take out Rock types.

^B/c Steel Wing is crap w/o STAB... Also, DD was an option, saying you can keep Crunch.

Well I don't really find toxic too useful in game on a pokemon who doesn't have leech seed. I'll just stick with steel wing because it helps against rock types and it doesn't suck in game.

^Actually, it does, but whatever.

You can run Swords Dance on 'Gatr if you don't want to breed, which means you want it to be Jolly, not Adamant.
