Pokemon/Human Morphs (Question)

Hello. ^^

While writing my assassin chaptered fanfiction, Eyes of the Python, I realized that I want to have Pokemon-Humans morphs, although it'd only be one major organization known as the Agrabisk-Skout. They are humans that are able to transform into Linoone, and are the only Pokemon-humans morphs that exist within the entire fanfiction. They have fantastic speed, compared as feline and inhuman, and share traits of both humans and Linoone - when in human form, you might find them running in straight lines until a curving road comes along, completely sending them to a slackened halt. But when driving vehicles, they barely stay in a straight line because they are more lax and love to enjoy their lives when off-business.

In Linoone form, while battling, they take more time to think strategically and wind up defending/attacking with the perfect move, bewilding the opponent and his/her Pokemon Trainer. They especially do not eat just Pokemon food, but for their fond of circular human fruits (oranges, apples) and their addiction to always battling each other in order to gain supremacy and power as much as they can. In human form, they resemble a few features like Linoone (smooth, cream skin, brown hair, deepened blue eyes) and such.

Now, my question comes as followed - since they are morphs, how would someone go about their language and way of speaking? When in human form, would they tend to be rather excited and always happy when speaking, having a more thickened accent with a hint of monster/beast in it, or would they tend to talk quicker and more enthusiastic about what they have to say?

I'd vote for no accent. Linoone seem the type for chirpy high voices, not thickened ones. But maybe have their voices sound odd still, in a can't-quite-put-your-finger-on-it sort of way.

Also, they sound really cool, especially their human forms. Linoone-morphs...

I thought about the accent and compared to the voice of Linoone, and it would indeed be a different kind of speaking. Linoone has a darkened-like voice, and typical humans do not, so that's where the accent comes along. However, it adds a hint of mystery because despite how dark their voices are, they could still have cheery ways of speaking, like they are just so happy and love to do things.

Yes, I love the Linoone-morphs. They are just too wonderful. ^^ Thanks for the help.

OMFG SOUNDS LIKE MAH ARGENT SEKHMET-BAST PERSIANS. D: *eyes you suspiciously* Nah, I'm just joshing. XD I quite like Linoones, and I'd imagine their voice as having a unusual quality to it-- perhaps a lilt? They'd also display characterstics...for example, my Argent Persian still act very feline even when they're human. And my Wereyena characters are pretty much the same, basically-- they growl and snarl a lot, and so on. You want to give the quality of a strange, eerie otherworldness...something not quite right. Yanno?

The Argents...hehehe, funny how I wasn't even thinking about them, but the Agrabisk-Skouts work to solve problems, since they are good people, not bad. ^^ (and plus, the Argents are MUCH MORE better-looking and such than the Skouts...so, no worries. ^^ I can always change them if you feel like they are somewhat copying yours) And the only way they display characteristics of Linoone is when they are running and jumpy and hyper, for they speak rather quickly and running in a straight line. And they like fruit. XD And if anything comes in their pathway, they come to a complete halt before slowly continuing. They are Linoones serving for Heaven, and that's how they were able to morph with humans - a god's enchantment. And yes, they talk excitedly and in a thickened accent, for Linoone have more of a thicker voice than most average Pokemon.

Besides, yours are better, Scrap, because they change into Persian. ;_; Mine are Linoone, and they'll be onto the assassination plan and trying their best to stop them and such. ^^ They are the heroes, and the main characters are the villians. :3

What if they don't speak when the morph into Pokémon form? Just a thought, but Latias could shapeshift and she didn't talk at all. What if human speech is the norm but when they shift into Linoone forms, they communicate telepathically?

Well, actually, I was going to have them speak their own language in Linoone form rather than telepathically human-wise so it causes less problems, not unless they are conversing with each other, then, it'd be translated for understanding purposes. ^^ But yes, I thought about that Latias factor as well, and decided they speak human in human form, and Pokemon/human in Pokemon form, but it depends on who they are talking to, if it is to each other or to humans in Linoone form.

*gets dizzy* Confusion. *.*

Hey, don't knock fruit-eating weasels. They're fearsome beasts, they are. D:

The running in a straight line idea is excellent. That'd be good if a group of them were pursuing your characters. Linoones can make 90-degree turns if they have to, but they get OWNED if your characters make gentle curves in their paths. If they come to an obstacle, all of the Linoone will screech to a halt and cause a pile-up, and as they try to free themselves your characters will be far, far away by that time. XD

Yep, and that is why I chose them over Sneasel morphs and Espeon morphs. ^^ I love their ability to run in a single straight line, together in harmony, until a gentle curve comes along. Wonderful scenes are in my head.

THANKS everyone for the help. *bows and disappears*
