Pokemon: Journey Across America to Seattle

hiya everyone...it's finally here the Pokemon Journey Across America is coming to Seattle, this weekend.

My boyfriend and are gearing up for the big weekend preparing our teams and having practice battles with each other to which of us is better.

What is your team line up...going to consist of

i plan on going with a wide vareity using only 1 uber...which will that be, wait and see this weekend?

Who else is coming? Which game are you using?

I'll be heading down to the mall right after Sonic X at 11:30


I'm scheduled to battle around 1:30, to all the rest that are competing this weekend and in the future good luck to all of you.

I live just one city over from Seattle. Still haven't decided if I want to go or not...

Washington kids are just awful though.
I can't stand 'em, and I can imagine there would be lots and lots of them there. If I do go, I wouldn't stay once I got Celebi, the dogs, and Latias. Those are the only Pokemon I need. XD;;

I'm going to the one in kanas city MO and the sign up test thing is this saturday wile the thing is on may 13, I can't find the time for when they open the mall or whatever the pokemon place and where its going to be. now what I'm worried about is the test. what are the Q's gonna be like? what happenes if I didn't get 80+ % ? can I retake it?

You cannot retake it under the same name/email once you get below 80%.
There are ways to get around this if you fail though. The test isn't that hard.
If you go through the Pokedex and the movedex a few times you'll do fine.

I'm really excited about this. I took the quiz, and got myself a spot by answering all the questions correctly. Only problem is, none of my Pokemon are Level 100. So, I have a lot of training to do. I put all my best on Coloseum, because it has the highest level Pokemon. My Team consists of: Sceptile, Swampert, Salamence, Mewtwo, Aggron, and Heracross.

JAA Seattle Re: Trading

WCGOLD: I have a slowpoke to trade and a bunch of the emerald safari pokemon that are only accessible after the E4! I also have 3 Jirachis, a couple shiny ziggzagoons and other assorted pokemon. I also have some rare berries to trade. I will be at the seattle event tomorrow!

So, JAA Seattle's come and gone; what did you guys think about it?

I thought it was pretty cool, as it was my first event. I arrived at 4:00 PM, because I'm Canadian (I live in BC), and there was a one-hour delay at the border. The rest of the drive took 2 1/2 hours for me.

I stood at the Top 20 line first, the same area where the tournament was being held. The battle that I saw was Taylor vs. someone, and a Sceptile, Raikou, and Zapdos were involved in the battle. While waiting in line, I received a promo 10th anniversary Pikachu card, then went on to download Bulbasaur, Blastoise, Entei, and Raikou into my Ruby and Sapphire versions.

Then I went to the room with the Celebi booth, the numerous Gamecubes, and the colourful chairs in front of the TV playing the anime. The Celebi line was empty; it surprised me at first, then I realized it was like 4:25, so many people might've left.

After I got my Celebis, I took a picture with Pikachu. Then, I walked over to a kid who downloaded a Celebi earlier, because I noticed he has Leaf Green. I got a Slowpoke from him. Then I realized I should've asked if he also has a Sneasel, a Remoraid, and a Mantine, but it was too late. Meh, I can get them in Colosseum, or wait until D/P comes out (Sneasel has an evo so he's bound to be there, Mantine has a pre-evo, and Remoraid should be there because it has a connection with Mantine).

Then after all that, I went to the bathroom (I drove all the way from Canada with no bathroom breaks), then I started to annoy my dad by bantering about "those really cool hats" (The ones shaped like the heads of Groudon, Rayquaza, Skitty, and Lucario). So I bought a Groudon hat before I left. Then I continued to bug my dad about how cool the Groudon hat is.

Jacob, I never tried to find you, because I never read your post until now.

If you guys saw a 5'11" Asian male with a very dark navy blue T-shirt with '1975' in small white letters, camo pants, and Lugz shoes, that's me. Plus a Groudon hat with the tag still on after like 4:40 PM.

I was so lucky to go to this thing... I was going over to my dad's for the weekend, but he had work that day. However, on really short notice (I called the Firday night before!), he took a couple days off and took me. I went to the Top 20 line first, but it got kind of annoying because there were people behind me ranting about how the Japanese version of the anime was an 'adult' show and how it had been 'kiddified'... Anyway, I picked up Entei, Raikou, Bulbasaur, Blastoise, Blaziken, Typhlosion, Latias, and 2 Celebi's. (I had LeafGreen and Emerald with me.) The Celebi line was really short, surprisingly. I also took a little look around the place: It was my first visit to one of these events. Unfortunately, I was unable to get one of those nifty hats, but my dad bought me a bit of manga. All in all, it was pretty fun.

I passed the test , well I can't wait to go, it sounds fun. Its my first time at going to one of these things.
