If you're playing Sapphire, there is no match call. Just use Trainer's Eyes on the Pokenav and rebattle anyone who has a flashing Pokeball by their name. You can also rebattle Gabby and Ty over and over again.

That's what i have always done. And it works wonders.

And you don't need to wait for their rematch, once above Mauville, once east of Mauville and once east of Fortree. You can also run around route 117 and 118 and wait for the trainers rematch.
