'I can't believe i made it this far' said Andy 'and now i have to battle Steve'

'Welcome to the 1st round to decide the 1st person to enter the final 4' said the MC.

'This match will be between Andy and Steve' annonuced the judge 'it will be 1 on 1, begin'

'Go Pidgeot' said Andy releasing his first pokemon.

Pidgeot appeared and circled around then cam in to land in front of Andy.

(Torpoleon you're up).

Damion watched as Pidgeot was released from his pokeball. He then looked over to Steve's side and back to Andy's. What pressure must Steve be in right now. He wants to win but, would it be hard to battle a friend? Damion knew that something similar was going to happen during the Grand Festival.

Steve seemed to be thinking. He must probably be thinking of a pokemon to send out. Charizard would be good to match air with air. But, also Zubat too. Plus, Zubat knew various strong attacks because of his father being a Staraptor.

When Damion finally found out what was going through Steve's head he was shocked. Steve was probably thinking about what attacks and moves and strategy would be good on Pidgeotto. He never has been in this much pressure. Steve had to verse the Avatar for a place in the Top 4!

Then, Steve threw a pokeball high into the air...

(Can Nick win the indigo League,i won't control him BTW,blue snover Andy will beat Steve)
"Go Charizard!Use wing attack than spin and use flamethrower!" said Steve

"So he picked Charizard." said Damion

"Ok Pidgeot use!" said Andy

"(I hope I beat the avatar.)" said Steve

"This will be a great match folks so don't leave to get a hot dog!" said the MC

"Oh we won't." said Damion.Everybody watched in awe as they waited for Andy to make an attack.

(Fine by me).
(Brando said it was someone random, i'm only going to the final 4).

'Quick Attack' said Andy.

Pidgeot flew at Charizard ready to strike.

Andy watched and waited for Charizard to attack.

'Alright Charizard' said Steve 'use!'

(Your turn).

(Can this match just be 1on1?I'll ask Brando if nick could win the indigo League)
"Fire blast!" said Steve.Pidgeot got hit by a direct hot but it wasn't giving up yet!

"Spin and use wing attack than Dragon breath!" said Steve

"Wow they are both giving it their all." said Damion

"You could say that again." replied dad

"I want Steve to win!" said Matt.Holding his good luck charm the Charmander doll.

"Ok Pidgeot use!" said Andy

(Done, i have just altered my 1st post).

'Pidgeot are you alright?' said Andy concerned.

'Pidgeot' said Pidgeot getting up.

'Alright Fly' ordered Andy.

Pidgeot flew up into the air and then came crashing down into Charizard.

Charizard was dazed by the attack, but it was determined to continue.

'Gust, full power' ordered Andy.

Charizard was hit with the full force of the attack and it was knocked to the stadium floor.

(You're up).

"Come on Charizard get up!" said Steve

"Char!" said Charizard

"Yes now use fire blast!' said Steve

"Charrrr!" said Charizard.Than it fell

"There you have it Andy goes to the semi final match!" said the MC

"I lost....." said Steve.Than he ran off the stadium and to the pokemon center...

When Damion saw the end of the match and Steve running to the pokemon center, he ran towards the exit. Damion wondered what had gotten into Steve. He just ran away like he was scared. Maybe he is sad.

Damion approached to pokemon center and ran in only to find Steve giving Charizard to Nurse Joy. Steve walked towards the waiting room and Damion followed. They both sat down.

"Are you okay?" Damion asked. He knows what it feels like to lose a big contest in a flash. Only, this was a really big moment for him.

Damion awaited an answer but, heard nothing. "I'll give you time to think..." Damion told him as he left the pokemon center and ran towards the dome. He didn't want to miss Andy's battle.

 

[Torpoleon]

Steve saw Andy's match from T.V.Nurse joy gave him his pokemon.

"So you lost in the Indigo league?" asked nurse joy

"Yes." said Steve

"Cheer up bad things always happen.Now go watch your friend's match." said nurse joy,Than Steve ran to the stadium and at next to Damion

"Were you okay?" asked Damion

"Yeah just that I lost in front of all of these people." said Steve

"i hear you." said Damion

(Next Morning)

'Welcome to the 1st semi final match' said the MC.

'This will be a 1 on 1 match, between Andy and Olivia' announced the judge 'begin'

'Ladies 1st' said Andy.

'Thanks said Olivia, go Gible'.

Gible appeared ready for battle.

'Just do your best' said Andy preparing to call his pokemon 'go Dratini'.

The little pokemon appeared ready for battle.

It looked around the stadium.

'He's taking a big risk using a new pokemon' said Damion.

'I'm sure he knows what he's doing' said Steve.

'I hope so' said Karlos 'this girl is tough, i looked her up, and it's going to be a tough battle'.

'Aqua Tail' ordered Andy.

Gible took the attack, and it had little effect.

'Take Down' said Olivia.

Gible charged into Dratini, and knocked it into the air.

Gible flinched, due to the recoil from the attack.

'Twister' said Andy.

'Sand Tomb' said Olivia.

The 2 attacks hit, and Gible's Sand Tomb knocked the Twister back into Dratini, causing Dratini to get the full brunt of both attacks, launching it into the air and sending it crashing to the floor.

'Dratini is unable to battle' announced the judge 'the victory goes to Gible, the winner is Olivia'.

The 2 trainers called their pokemon back.

'That was a good match' said Olivia.

'I agree' said Andy.

Just then Andy's friends ran out of the crowd.

'That was a great battle, i'm sorry you didn't win' said Damion.

'Me too' said Steve.

'Never mind' said Andy at least i managed to make it this far and that is a great achievement for my 1st pokemon league'.

'Good luck with final, Olivia' said Andy 'i hope you go all the way'.

They all turned and left the stadium and headed back to the hotel, to await the results of the final match.

(Brando it's over to you).

(Let's wrap this up...)
The next day, Nick had an almost fallen Dragonite while the opponent Olivia had a Shiftry ready for battle.

"Come on Shiftry! Finish him with Razor Wind!!!" The tree built up a large amount of wind in his leaves and shot it at Dragonite.

"Hyper Beam!!!" The Dragon pokemon shot a powerful beam out of his mouth that destroyed the gust and made a direct hit onto Shiftry. "Come on..." The tree started to wobble until it finally fell.

"Wow!!! There you have it!!" The MC yelled in excitement.

"I am proud to honor the next champion, Nick, with the Indigo Cup!!! Hold it high with pride!!!" The MC yelled as the crowd roared.

"Thank you!!!!" Nick yelled as he held his trophy high.

"And that's a wrap for the Indigo League this year! Remember to stay for the Kanto Grand Festival starting tomorrow!!!!" The MC yelled.

The next morning, the group woke up bright and early for the start of the Grand Festival. Damion, Karlos, and Steve walked to the Dome as they waited for the Appeal Round to start.

 

[Sigh!]

Karlos, Steve and Damion went to the Grand festival site the next morning.

"I can't Believe its here now, The grand festival..."Said Karlos" Let's Enter!"

They entered then showed their ID's and went to the back stage

"Hello All 32 Co-ordinators congratulations" said the Judge "Now for the Preliminaries!"

"Look at the screen for the Apeal orders!" said the MC

First was Steve then Karlos then Damion

"Good luck guys!" said Karlos

 

[Torpoleon]

(Is it ok if Josh wins the grand festival?)
"Hello everybody and welcome to the grand festival!First up is Steve!" yelled the MC

"Go Zubat!Use aerial ace and spell out your name!" said Steve

"Zubat spelled out it's name it is air!" yelled the MC

"Go over it with Brave bird!" said Steve.Now it was sparkling.

"Blow it away with whirlwind!" said Steve.Than it got blow away and sparkles fell!

"A marvelous performance 7/10!!!" yelled the MC

"(What!)" said Steve.Than he left to the pokemon center and called Prof. Oak

"Hello who is this?" asked Prof. Oak

"It is Steve I am in the grand festival and I got a 7/10 in the appeal round." said Steve

"That is ok I'm sure you will pass just believe in yourself." said Prof.Oak

"Ok thanks bye." said Steve.Than when Steve got back it was Karlos' turn!

 

[Sigh!]

"Lets welcome Karlos to the stage!" said the Mc

Karlos walked up to the stage and sent out....

"Aero!!" said Areo

"Ok Areo use Ominus Wind and whirlwind to make a vortex" said Karlos

It was a purple and grey vortex created by the 2 winds now Flamethrower in it

The fire went in then it shot out at Areo becaus eof the wind

"Ice Fang and Ariel Ace!"

Areo went towards the fire and his fangs were glowing blue he charged at it and then he flapped his wing and the flame disperesed in the vortex to be assimalated and disapear

"8.5/10" said the judges

"Happy face" said Karlos

Now it was Damions turn

 

[Brando95]

Damion became suddenly stiff inside. He was about to perform in the biggest contest of his life so far! This was the appeal round and every second counted. He took a deep breath and walked onto the stage.

Damion walked onto the stage and watched all of the people who were surounding him. The dome looked a lot larger when you have the entire stage to yourself. Everyone was waiting for him to make his move...

He grabbed a pokeball. "Lapras!! Dazzle 'em!!!" The pokemon that seemed to be Damion's main pokemon popped out of the pokeball. It had many rainbow sparkles around him since it was using an Aqua Ring.

"Surf!" The pokemon used the move to create a giant wave of water under him. The water was at Lapras's total control. "Let go!" The Lapras released the water and it fell to the stadium floor. Lapras fell with it. "Ice Beam!!!"

Lapras used Ice Beam which froze the water in its spot. It was still splashing so, there were many Ice Pillars towering towards the sky. Lapras landed in the middle of many pillars circling around him. "Whirlpool!" Lapras used Whirlpool to create a giant vortex above him and in the middle of the circle of Pillars.

"Use Water Pulse towards the ground!" The pokemon continued the appeal and used the water to push him up towards the sky and in the middle of the Whirlpool. "Aqua Ring!" Lapras used Aqua Ring at the middle of the Whirlpool and the rainbow sparkles got caught in the vortex.

The sparkles rode up the whirlpool. They not only spread up and around the entire dome creating a rainbow aura around the stadium but, also created a rainbow whirlpool. "Finish it off!!!" Damion yelled to let Lapras know to stop.

The pokemon fell to the ground and managed to land on the ice. The whirlpool subsided leaving Lapras surrounded by many Ice Pillars in the middle of the dome with a rainbow aura floating around him.

The crowd roared!!! "Wasn't that amazing!!!" The MC yelled in excitement! "Let's give Damion a big 9.8/10!!!"

Damion was so happy for Lapras when he returned him. "Thank you..." He told the pokeball as he walked off of the stage.

After the crew was able to melt all of the ice, the rest of the appeals finished leaving the suspense of learning who made it to the next round buzzing through everyone's head.

 

[Torpoleon]

'Welcome back everyone the first match is Steve vs.Travis!" said the MC

"Go Venusaur!" said Travis

"Go Zubat use aerial ace!' said Steve

"Throw it with vine whip than frenzy plant!" said Travis

"That is one strong Venusaur!" said Damion

"Come on use aerial ace again!" said Steve

"Vine whip!" said Travis

"Stop than Whirl wind than use brave bird!" said Steve.Venusaur was still standing!

"Frenzy plant!" said Travis.After Zubat got hit it evolved!

"Awesome a Golbat now use supersonic than Brave bird!" said Steve

"Venusaur is unable to battle so Steve wins!" said the MC."Next is Karlos vs.Ryan!" said the MC

(Scratch that! I'm online so...)
"Now Damion's up against Ryan! Battle on!" The MC yelled!

"Butterfree! Dazzle 'em!!!" Damion yelled! He sent out his pokemon. He hadn't used him in a contest for a while.

"Butterfree!" The other trainer had sent out a Butterfree also! But, something was different with this one. It had a strange color. "Tackle!" The pokemon used a standard tackle attack.

"Gust!" The gust became a spinning vortex and knocked Butterfree away before it was able to attack. The Shiny Pokemon lost points. "Now! Use tackle while using gust around you!"

Butterfree used the gust dome around him and charged at his opponent. But, the opponent was slick. "Stun Spore!!!" The dust became caught in the gust dome and effected Butterfree greatly!

The helpless pokemon fell to the ground unable to move. "Finish with Aerial Ace!" The Shiny pokemon charged at Butterfree but, Butterfree still had a little chance left.

"Gust!!!" The fallen pokemon used as much energy as possible to blow away the Shiny Butterfree. It had worked as much as possible and the Shiny Pokemon had fallen and wouldn't get up.

"That Butterfree may be unique but, still couldn't win! Damion is victorious!!!"

 

[Torpoleon]

"The next match is Karlos vs. Bobby!" yelled the MC.The trainers appeared ready for battle

"Go!" said karlos.Steve decided to go train near the pokemon center so he could hear the match.

"He was training with is Vaporeon when Nick approached him!

"Hey lets battle!"said Nick

"Sure!" said Steve.There is no judge

"Go Blastoise!" said Nick

 

[Sigh!]

Before the match....

"Professer remember the pokemon I sent you after the Rocket Casino incedent?"

"Yes whats the matter?"

"I would like to switch Vix for it"

Boby and Karlos Approached the stage

"Go Seel" said Bobby

"Go Gamma!" said Karlos

Out of the pokeball came out a polygon shaped pokemon it was a porygon!

"Pory!"

"Seel Ice beam!"

"Gamma Lock on seel then use Psybeam then through the middle Signal beam!"

A purple beam collided with the ice beam and then from the collision a green beam came and hit seel

"Ow that must hurt the points of bobby!" said the MC

"Seel use Icy wind!"

"Gamma Agility to evade it then Lock on and Zap Cannon!"

The seel pokemon missed then got hit by a cannon of electricity and then fainted!

"Victory to Karlos!" said the Judge then after 2 more battles "Congratulations to the people that made it into the top 8! Come back tommorow for the top 8 co-ordinators face of in battle!"

 

[Torpoleon]

"We have to postpone the match sorry Nick!" said Steve

The next day.......
"Welcome back everyone our first match is Steve vs.Dylan!BEGIN!" yelled the MC

"Go Walrein!" said Dylan

"Go Shiftry use mega drain than energy ball!" said Steve.Dylan lost points.

"Ice beam than aqua jet!" said Dylan.The ice beam and aqua jet mixed and Steve lost points

"LEAF STORM!" said Steve

"Walrein is unable to battle so Steve wins!" yelled the MC."Next is Damion vs.Larry!"
