Besides, I think it's safe to say Game Freak is over Legends: Z-A. We might just go straight into Gen 10.

No, because there is literally a player title for competing in 10 seasons of ranked battles and so far they have been pretty consistent in having Mega Stones being the reward and incentive for people to play each season.

So it doesn’t really make sense that they would have a specific player title for participating in 10 seasons of ranked battles but then have no new rewards for seasons 8-10. Plus it’s not like it would be that hard for them to add 3 more new Mega Evolutions and Mega Stones.



Also keep in mind that while the gen 10 games will very likely be announced during Pokemon Day, after that initial drop of information however they likely won’t be jumping into gen 10 marketing/promotion until mid-late May at the earliest.

So have new mega stones be distributed through rank battles for seasons 8-10 is a good way to hold people over until the gen 10 marketing cycle and information drops really start getting into the swing of things.

Not necessarily pokemon day can have lots of smaller reveals and they can easily combine it with a Garchomp-z reveal. It might be something simple like repeating all the previously released stones in-case they have been missed (and splitting it over 2 season) It makes sense to do a final thing given how much they put into developing a complete online battle system similar to how they repeated the mightiest raids. I don't think this minor z-a reveal would get a major video package or anything like that (unless they do something wild and reveal a final mega not in the data and added in an update akin to daybreak) but gen 10 or whatever is revealed may take a while to come out and a few more online z-a is a good interim,

On Pokemon Day they’ll probably announce the Garchomp Z event/distribution right before the Gen 10 games are announced. February is already here, they can wait a few more weeks until Garchomp Z

While the “catch a Shiny Pokemon” task is guaranteed with a matching Sparkling Power Lv 3 Donut, how many times have you got it without the power active? So far gotten it three times with shinies ending up being Skrelp, Numel and Trubbish.

They should have brought back all of the clothing options from X and Y, but kept them separate or gender-specific (Skirts and dresses for girls and pants for boys).

Short Shorts are essentially Jean Shorts under a different name (and with a greater variety of colours compared to XY). Do miss some of the XY tops though all skirts have to be changed to Skorts (Jancinthe's dresses aside).

I wouldn't have brought them all back but there definitely was some that could have been fun to see again. Some of the zipped jackets I recall were fun

I think that there is still one or two more surprises left for ZA. I mean Legends Arceus had the unexpected surprise of giving out the Azure Flute in BDSP if you caught Arceus which was definitely something no one was expecting.

Don't forget that there's also Pokopia and Champions having potential reveals.

I'm certainly not ruling it out. They might and if they are going to, Pokémon day would make sense to reveal it. At the moment I'm only predicting z-a to reveal Garchomp-z, and what happens with the upcoming ranked battle seasons (not counting things like Pokemon masters or Pokopia that won't impact z-a but will probably be revealed same day ) and possibly Pokémon home compatibility date for z-a. But I'd like to see a surprise.
