Pokemon LEGENDS: Z-A - General Discussion/Speculation Thread

So, I've been reviewing the gameplay footage checking out all the buildings with doors, and I noticed some have platforms in front of the doors and others don't. These platforms match the ones seen at the base of ladders leading to rooftops, so I'm gathering these are the doors of accessible buildings.

The question is, will we be able to enter these buildings?

What if there were more special and unique forms for certain Pokemon similar to Floette and Ursaluna?

It's possible. My guess is we'll get an eternal flower floette (possibly a relative of Az's Floette) as gift from Az taking that role. It's never been available for in game usage. I've also long since wanted the cosplay pikachu and notched-ear Pichu able to be transferred to future games but I admit that seems less likely.

while AZs Floette becomes Eternal Flower Florges and is unobtainable

I am so so excited for ZA, vibe wise Kalos is one of my favorite regions. I'm expecting just new megas, but I would like to see new regional forms.

Other things to note is that the Pokemon Center has a open entrance for us to run in and out from

There are people standing in front of the doors at the cafes and the shops look similar to how they were in SV.

Its really hard to say what is accessible, what is unlockable, what is just interactable and like at this time.

I really hope there are NPC buildings that are accessible. We don't even need a lot. Just 4 or 5 for each district. Each building can offer a side quest or an item. Or both!

I'd like there to be at least some accessible buildings given this game is very urbanised. If nothing else it would be a logical way to follow up on the kalos ghost.

In a shocking twist, Legends ZA was rated E10+ by the ESRB, which marks the very first time that a mainline Pokémon game did not receive an "E" rating.
Interesting. SV was a bit darker in some areas, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they keep that up in future titles

Guess we gonna hear words like DIE more often.

Well, Legends Arceus had tons of death references, even Cyllene telling the player that she would leave them to die in the wild if need be, but the game still had a regular E rating.

Therefore, Legends: Z-A definitely has something else going on. It's possible we might actually see someone die this time. Given the themes of X&Y were life and death, it's totally possible.

People seem to have discovered from the trailer that Pokemon are possibly gaining double the amount of EXP from fainting Pokemon than capturing it.

Might be a thing, might not be.

Actually, Gen. 1 used the word "die" a few time, mainly in Lavender Town.

That kinda furthers my point, though, no?

If Gen 1 and Legends Arceus can both make explicit references to death and still be rated E, there's clearly something darker going on in Legends: Z-A. I think so, anyway.
