So, Meganium still got screwed even with a Mega because of it's moveset?

For Special side (it's strongest as Mega)
- Giga Drain/Energy Ball/Leaf Storm
- Dazzling Gleam
- Earth Power
- Work Up

For Physical side, (average but not good)
- Leaf Blade/Bullet Seed
- Knock Off
- Earthquake
- Iron Tail
- Outrage
- Curse/Swords Dance

So you go from Rank V to Rank F in a flash?! Guess they didn't have enough time to put in everything in between, huh? By the way, I heard a rumor saying that you can catch Dianice in this game. Could someone please look into this to clarify?

So, the extra +40 to Mega Starmie's stats seems to hint that it would probably get either Huge Power or Pure Power or some new variation Ability when it finally appears in the Core Games.
Since the other two pokemon to get that +40 boost to their Mega stat also had those abilities (aka., Mega Mawile & Mega Medicham).

I saw someone say that the Diancite and the Mewtonites will be Mystery Gift distributions that trigger the encounters for their respective Pokemon

So I think out of the Kalos mythical Pokémon that just leaves really Volcanion as the only one that we have don’t really have any indication on how to get.

As Hoopa is obviously tied to the DLC.

Either Volcanion would have exclusive DLC or something.

Good enough for me. When I eventually get the game, I'm still picking Chikorita.

Talk about a giant step back after Arceus
I really don’t understand why they insist on forcing people to trade just to evolve their Pokémon. I’m not saying that they have to remove it completely but they could have easily handle it like they handled it in Legends Arceus for all main series games that come out after Legends Arceus where you can evolve your Pokémon without trading but you can still evolve them via trading as well, it’s just that the trading part is optional.

I mean heck seems ridiculous to force people to trade their Pokemon just to evolve them when they aren’t even introducing any new trade evolutions.

I mean sure can’t catch them in this game but, seems absolutely ridiculous that they are fine with people catching trade evolutions like Gengar in raids in Sword&Shield but no they can’t possibly allow people to evolve their Haunter into Gengar without trading outside of Legends Arceus.

In all honesty the whole concept not being able to evolve certain Pokemon without trading needs to honestly die, considering it’s pretty much an outdated concept at this point.

Especially when they basically don’t put in a system to guarantee that you will be able to get your Pokémon back.

I always thought a trade machine like the ones shown in the anime, located and unlocked at a certain point in the professor's lab equivalent would make sense as an option.

A npc would be there to trade a regular mon for with you for a certain mon, then just speak again to trade back if you so wish.

If they don't want to bring the Linking Cable back or make trade items work like evolutionary stones.

Catching all the Pokemon is needed to face Arceus, so the Linking Cord was likely included to not lock out solo players. For this game the Pokedex is not the main goal, it is more of a side goal as part of Mable’s Research.

It doesn’t really matter if completing the Pokédex is the main goal or not, they should not be locking evolutions behind trade. You shouldn’t have to trade your Scyther or Onix just to evolve them into a Scizor or Steelix respectively. Not to also forget to mention the ridiculous fact that Porygon’s entire line is pretty locked behind trading if you want to evolve it.

especially when Legends are singular titles, not like new gens wheen there are two versions with different dexes.

You know, this is the first time besides in Pokemon Let's Go, Pikachu! where it's mandatory to catch Pikachu as well as a mandatory in-game trade other than in X/Y.

Why tf does the game try to present Corbeau as "actually a nice guy" after trying to loan shark a minor out of a million dollars
