Pokemon Locations

I dont know if this is anywhere on here (besides the PokeDex link, which doesnt give specifics) but I'm sure lots of people are trying to find out where some Pokemon are located. My problem is Scyther. I know it's in National Park, but can you only catch it during the Bug Catching Contest, or can you catch it normally aswell?

You can only catch a Scyther during the Bug Contest. Also, if you manage to catch one you more than likely will also win the contest so you have an added bonus.

Exactly what Fallen Guardian said. Outside the Bug-Catching Contest you can catch Sunkern, Nidoran (either gender), Pidgey and I don't remember what other Pokémon.

Okay. Thanks. I knew I could only catch Scyther in National Park, just didnt know if it was only during the BCC. And I remember quite a few times I caught Scyther and lost to a Pinsir. I was ******. =/ Ohwell. Thanks for the help. I'm sure a lot of people might have questions about locations, and I know I'll probably have a few more.
