Could you explain me the trick??
Please! Ive never won!
Well, the only need you think is a LOT of patience. It's actually very easy, but some people don't understand when I explain it.
You may have seen that, if you save before getting the number, you get the same number everytime, so reseting doesn't work. That's because the number is generated each time you start the game in a new day. So if you save in front of the lady, and wait a day to pass (obviously considering that you have the clock relatively near to the real time), you start, get the number... I'm sorry none of the digit matched... A+B+START+SELECT (resets the game) and you do it until you get the prize you wanted. But don't expect to get a Master Ball, think that probably after a lot of time of reseting each day, you will only get PP Ups (that's very good after all, better that the Exp. Share and Max Revive IMO). You MUSN'T save before you reset, or the number of that day will be saved and the next time you try, it will be the same number.
Conclusion: Each time you finish a session of playing, you save in front of the lady, and then, turn the GBA off. The next day, when you start your game, before doing anything, you do the trick (you don't even need to see the screen, if you leave the volume with a bit of sound, you can hear the "tutututún" of getting an item, so the only buttons you must press are: A, A, A, A, A,... A+B+START+SELECT, A, A,... (until you hear the chime) Then you save, and continue with your game.
Warning: This trick may make some people mad, you need a lot of patience and/or luck (I've got the item on the first try some times). Just make sure you follow the steps carefully.
So, now that everybody understands it, do you think that if I save in front of the Mirage Island man and wait a day, and do the above think a lot of time, I could get the island eventually? Because I don't want to lose all my time reseting. I have work to do, in fact I should be studying chemistry right now, so sayonara.
