Pokemon Mondays

Did you guys ever notice that all Pokemon games pretty much come out on mondays? Or even Nintendo products in general? It just bothers me since I'm at my Dad's on Monday's and I have to wait two days just to play the game since he doesn't let me play them, he says Pokemon is too childish for me. I have to wait and go to my Mom's house, then I can play it.

my parents dont seem to care so much... they just bought me Nintendogs the other day...

and nintendogs is pretty childish in terms of playing with puppies... XD

i didnt realize that most Pokemon games come out on Mondays...

My parents don't really care about Pokemon, but they do care if I don't finish my homework or studies becauase I was playing my GB or with Pokemon cards or something.

I remember FrLg came out in the UK on a Friday, but other than that, I couldn't say. I bought shapphire long after it came out (about a year or so, I wasn't a fan then), and I got Emerald from America.

That's not entirely true, it only happens in the US. In Japan, they aren't all released on Monday.

For example: The Mysterious Dugeon games were released on Nov. 17, 2005, which was on Thursday.

I dunno, maybe it helps them deal with the crapful nature of Mondays? Eh, Tuesdays have always been my bad days though.

well the *true* release date is whenever it comes out in japan, so you cant judge if your buying them from the states...and i remember emerald came out the day before my birthday (i think), which means it came out on a sunday. sorry to crush your hopes

Emerald: Sunday, May , something.

I really can't remember any others... the only one that came out on a monday over in the states was XD I think.

Yeah, I guess you guys are right. But, a lot of Nintendo Products do come out on Mondays though. Meh, it just sucks that Trozei's coming out on a monday.

and they always seem to come out on friday in Europe......

maybe they release them on certain days for the best market? (by that I mean people who get them on the release day)

or maybe it is easier to arrange shippings to stores and stuff

lmao That's what happened when Emerald came out. I bought it at Circuit City instead, though. I also saw the parent I babysit for there as well lolol And I babysat his children the night before as well.

EDIT: Playing Pokemon is better than doing drugs. I'm glad I still play the games than hanging out with kids who get into trouble.

I think my parents are bothered about me beeing so obsessed with pokemon still at the age of 16 but then im into alot of other 'childish' things like neopets and i still collect dolls so.....i dont think thy will do anything about it.

a lot of pokemon games where I live come out on sundays. But they're not delivered to the stores until later that night. So i normally have to wait till Monday to get whatever came out.

This is not true. Pokemon G/S came on Sunday, R/S came on Wednesday(I pre ordered and got it on Tuesday) and Emerald came out on a Sunday. I remember I got it after I found out my friend died. Dang, the good memories we had me beating him in Pokemon Sapphire...I wish.

If you are old enough for your dad to say it's childish, then you are old enough to say "I'll play what I want". Games, Films, DVDs, CD's, pretty much everything in electronic entertainment is released on a friday or monday.
