    Your Armaldo moveset is...disgusting =/
Stealth Rock and Rapid Spin isn't needed. Whats the chance of your opponent (a CPU) having such a strategy? They'll rarely switch, and the chances of they using such a move (Stealth Rock) is...ridiculously low, so yeah, don't use it in-game.
If that's Armaldo set was supposed to be a Competitive one, i wouldn't argue, but..

    Armaldo@Life Orb
    Adamant Nature
    ~Rock Slide/Stone Edge
    ~Earthquake
    ~Aqua Tail
    ~X-Scissor

    Easy, effective, and powerful!
Rock Slide >>> Stone Edge because of its Accuracy.
Rock slide is also STAB...Stone Edge is too, but i'll hope you understand me °-°
Earthquake for QuakeEdge coverage, it hit a lot of things for neutral Damage, and believe me, you want to hit most things possible.
Aqua Tail for coverage too, lets take out Ground-Types that might give you problems...or not, whatever.
X-Scissor is for STAB, i DON'T see a reason to use it, but i also don't see a reason to don't use it.. confusing...

And that's it. Goooooood luck ^^

On scizor why quick attack u have a still type quick attack already

    that.

Aerial Ace over Quick Attack on Scizor. You already have STAB Bullet Punch for priority.

  5. Zhanton

    Zhanton le quant-à-soi

Volcarona doesn't need a Life Orb imo. Slap Leftovers on her and run Substitute > HP [Ground] so you can set up more easily. After a few Quiver Dances, your STAB moves will be powerful enough.

U-turn is a physical move; go with Volt Switch instead on Galvantula, so it can do more damage when you switch out.

    What the...i....i didn't noticed that yesterday >.<
    Nice idea, hehe!

Also, don't if it's me...but i don't like the idea of using Choice Band on Scizor =/
I mean, he's already pretty powerful, i don't see a reason to use it.
Bullet Punch will have that nice effect if paired with Scizor ability; technician.
I would Slap (love saying this) a Life orb or a Leftovers on him, i would even put a Muscle Band on him! But i still wouldn't use Choice Band, it isn't nice =/

Also OP, use his Volcarona. Go for me, it works xD

    Royal -585- Dragonite RAWR!

I have U-Turn on Galvantula, because of ground types. Also, Hidden Power Ground is to hit threats like Heatran, which Volcarona wouldn't be able to touch.

  8. Royal -585-

    Royal -585- Dragonite RAWR!

I use that Armaldo set because he is my lead and i battle online with that set.

  9. Aura Sensei™

^ Then it's fine with the exception of Rock Slide > Rock Blast.

Not much else to say , but Giga Drain is an alternative on Galvantula.

Imo a Scarf Moxie set on Heracross would work nicely as well.

In that case , Stone Edge might be better than Facade ; I've used a Scarf Moxie set before and you rarely use othe Moves anyways , you primarily use your Dual STAB's.

    thanks haha

    azeem40 Pokemon is fun!

No need for Aerial Ace on Scizor over Quick Attack. This is a competitive team and fighting + steel + bug has good coverage. Quick Attack helps finish off Pokemon not weak to Bullet Punch, like Gyarados.

If you're talking about competitive battles I'd favor Brick Break over superpower, as it would hit normal types hard and remove some screens not crippling Scizor's Atk. I'd also have it running Life Orb over the Choice thing and Bug Bite over Quick Attack.

And I personally have had very bad experiences having Scizor in against a Gyarados, so I'd not bother having QA to finish him off...

    azeem40 Pokemon is fun!

Most Gyarados run Moxie and CB QA still picks Gyarados off.

that is really good to know... i guess i just underestimate QA in general.

Yep, it evens OHKO's Volcarona after SR damage.

    Now I'm impressed! @_@

I guess I'll consider that more often from now on...

  17. Celestial Moth

Its awesome to see other people with bug monotypes :D

If i may suggest this for you volcarona though.

    Volcarona@Life Orb
    Flame Body
    Timid
    252SpA/4SpD/252Spe
    -Quiver Dance/phychic
    -Bug Buzz
    -Heat Wave
    -Giga Drain

I have mixed feelings with volcarona cause if a rockslide hits it, its a k0. So theirs not really anytime to try to quiver dance on most pokes because alot
of people use rockslide. Giga drain with power orb on a timid moth, might be able to get get around a lot of those pokes or even pokes with similar "settings" that offer trouble to it.

Also it might be worth substituting either your yanmega's move set or yanmega all together:

    Yanmega@Wide lens/ Focas sash
    Speed boost/Tinted lens
    Timed

    -Hypnosis/whirlwind
    -Attract/whirlwind
    -Supersonic
    -U-Turn/Toxic

If you were to choose Hypnosis it might be worth having wide lens and risking that fact that you might not hit first shot, which would allow you to eventually become faster than most pokes.

You could piss some serious people of with a yanmega bro if its introduced at the right time. IF you set up stealth rocks before yanmega is in play then you might be able to pull of a interesting set up with it. If You land lets say the first move on your opponent with an attract/supersonic and take the hit with a focus sash, you could essentially win the game with a bit of luck. Because a yanmega in this situation is basically telling your opponent to try to switch out especially if that pokemon is poisoned/asleep while being attracted and confused.
As soon as a pokemon is attracted and or confused most people tend to either try their luck and break through or switch out, but if they switch out and you have a free turn that could do a lot. I hope you see the potential to this :p

Think about Venomoth though bro Because i use a timid one myself and its pretty cool lol. Perhaps a venomoth instead of a yanmega?
    Venemoth@wide lens
    Tinted lens
    Timid

    Sleep powder
    Sludge bomb/phychic
    Bug buzz
    Roost/giga drain

One of the big things about using a bug mono type is its obvious weaknesses generally a powered up scizor can solve that problem.

    Scizor@Choice band
    Technician
    adamant

    X-scissor
    BUllet Punch
    Aerial Ace
    U turn/ Superpower

ON your heracross, Substitute night slash for shadow claw, Armaldo can be useful aswell but look over his/her move-set ay.

    ALSO THINK ABOUT THIS COMBO:

Forretress@choice scarf with sturdy is sent into battle.
    Its versing any pokemon.
    YOu lay stealth rocks first
    Take the hit
    Switch out to scizor.
Using a adamant choice banded appropriate move, you either k0 or significantly make some damamge.
(NOW THE CHANCES OF YOUR OPPONENT SWITCHING OUT THEIR FIRST POKE TO TAKE OUT YOUR LOCKED IN SCIZOR IS HUGE~! PLUS THEYL BE THINKING ABOUT EITHER A CHANCE TO TAKE OUT SCIZOR OR YOUR NEXT SWITCH IN. EITHER WAY ITS GONNA BE A POKE WITH A FIRE TYPE MOVE TO TAKE OUT SCIZOR. NOW THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET
RID OF THAT POKEMON WITH A FIRE MOVE BECAUSE ITS A BIG THREAT)

SWITCH back into Forretress, and use explosion XD , THis will either take out that threat or significantly cripple it :p

but hasn't explosion been badly nerfed? Is it still viable?

Explosion in this context would only be used i guess to make considerable damage, if not kill , that pokemon that seriously threatens the rest of the team.
