Pokemon Natures & Tyrogue

I gotten a Hitmonchan on my fire red and I have started breading it. I meny breade it so I can have all the evolution forms of it. So on my first Tyrogue I hatched I tryed to rease it to be a Hitmonlee or Hitmontop. This proved to be impossable becuse of him being a Bold Pokemon Nature . Becuse of the bold nature it will allways become a Hitmonchan.

Dew to that I did some studying and came up with a list of Pokemon Natures and what way Tyrogue would evolve.

Most Likely to become a Hitmonchan:
Bold, Calm, Impish, Lax, Modest, Relaxed, & Timid

Most Likely to become a Hitmonlee:
Adamant, Brave, Gental, Hasty, Lonely, Mild, & Nughty

The thers set can become any of the 3 with Iorn or Proten
Bashful, Careful, Docile, Hardy, Joly, Naive, Quiet, Quirky, Rash, Sassy, & Serious

Just because it's bold doesn't always mean it will be a Hitmonchan. It's much more likely to, but its still possible to for it to become one of the other 2(even though Bold nature sucks on them).

yeah, you can always use proteins and irons to change their stats. It doesn't really matter what their nature is. I mean, it obviously does have some effect, but remember you can fix that.

I tryed useing protens on my Tyrogue. I tryed (by restarting the game sevral times) giving it the protens in the begining and at level 19. Both times I maxed out the protens and the defence was alleays higher then the attack. No matter how I did it. Whin I did add the protens at level 19 there was still a 4 point diffrence on the attack & defence after maxing out the protens

EV train the Tyrogue in Attack.

get a tyrogue raise it to level 20 stop the evolution get protien and iron
if attack stat is higher than defence only use the iron un til the stats are even

if the defence stat is higher than attack stat only use protien

but before you do this save the game whaen the tyrogue is at level 20
use one on the one you need to be put up stop and look at the stats this is where many people make mistakes and if is still not even use one look back
stop look back at the stats do this prossess until both are even and raise it one level and it will be hitmontop

Yea but getting hitmontop was so hard!I mean i got fed up stoping its evolution,then i did something very bad........b4 it evolved,i saved and then used protein/iron to do the lesser stat

what Im saying is that I Used the protens untill I could not give him anymore and the Attack Is 4 points lower then the Defence Cuse of that it will evole into a Hitmonchan that I allready have. I want the other 2. So my plan is to trade that Tyogue to my ruby or saphier and hatch another.

I do use TEN proteins!!!! If I uses Iorns it will defeat my purpose!!! I dont whant a Hitmonchan becuse I allready got one! I whant a Hitmonlee or Hitmontop. As I stated before I maxed out the proteins on the Tyogues and still got an attack 4 less then defence. How can I evolve it into a hitmonlee or Hitmontop if I cant give him any more proteins? Answer: I can't!

if you look closely the reason tyrogue is so hard to evolve to hitmontop is because when you use one priotien or iron it may not even move the base stat that is why you have to look back at itthat is whay i say raise it to 20 save it and then give it those vitamins because if you mess up soft reset

Im trying what you say with little luck. Im still 3 off from my goal. Im even trying the MACNO BRACE (as I read from the EV collom on Serebii main site)

I use TEN Proteins!! and Im trying for both Hitmontop AND Hitmonlee. Just that the Torogue keeps getting stat to be a Hitmonchan like his papa. I am trying everything I know (I played cence Red, Blue & Yellow). Im even useing what everyone is telling me. Besices that I got 2 more Torogue Eggs to hatch and my Hitmonchan Im breading is still in the daycair center on Island 4 with my Ditto, so I still got eggs comming. I also got my Camerupt (that has MAGMA ARMOR ability) to help hatch the eggs (I read that on a breading tread on another part in this forums). So Im not toltaly out of options yet. If I cant do this Tyrogue the way I whant to I got other that I more then Likely can.

Do what I did, get them all from Colosseum/XD if you have the games. If not, then EV train it and don't let it evolve until it starts to evolves into Hitmonlee or Hitmontop.

All I have is Ruby, Saphier, & Fire Red. But thx for your help. Besides I am trying to EV train with no luck of yet. It is just the defence grows so fast dew the bold nature it is hard to compinsate, even with EV trainning.

I finaly got a Hitmonlee. What I did was I used the 10 proteins right off the bat and gave it the MACNO BRACE . I then went toroute 24 on the nugget ridge and used the VS SEEKER to get the teanners to battle (cence there pokemon is constent). and trained TYROGUE on MANKEY, EKANS & ARBOK

Today I hatches another Tyrogue that has a Careful nature. I gave it EXP. SHARE and it became a Hitmontop with no trouble at all. Im Happy that now I got all 3 Hitmons
