Heh, Kairyu is rather cute, mind if I pilfer it for a Gible egg I'm currently hatching?

Grovyle: Shino - M (I love Shino from Naruto, shush X3. He has an everstone, Grovyle is my second favorite pokemon.)
Luxray: Denji - M (Named after Volkner #^_^#)
Gallade: Escrime - M (French for Fencing)
Gardevior: Skitz - M (No real explanation for this one #^^#'')
Flygon: Subakurei - F (Subaku = Desert, Rei = Spirit)
Feraligatr: Hiroshi - M (I just love the name =3. 'Roshi is my baby~<3)

Go right ahead, just know that Kairyu is the Japanese name for Dragonite (yeah I was being really creative that day). You've got an awesome line up there.

Camerupt-Joe Camel- after the Camels Cigarette camel
Ledian-Spotlight- Spots. 'Nuff said
Wooper-Woot Woop- Caught in the same place Miror B. shows up(in XD), and since Mirir B says "Woot" several times in Colosseum, it fit.
Ditto-Parasite-X- Based after Parasite-X from the Metroid series.
Bayleef-Rosemary- One spice to another.
Hairyama-Hairy Mama- You laughed, I'm sure of it.
Moltres-Fawkes- Dumbledor's phoenix.
Zapdos-Zeus- Drops lightning bolts from the sky.
Articuno-Sub-Zero- ......it's ice. ._.
Golduck-Daffy- It's a duck. Daffy Duck.
Tentacruel-Smuckers- Jellyfish, Smuckers jelly. With a name like Smuckers, it's gotta be good.
Abomasnow-Mah Boi?- I don't know where this came from.
Castform-Casper- :V It looks like a ghost. :3
Cloyster-Fort Nox- This thing absorbs physical hits like a fortress.
Banette(M)-Animus- Male side of a spirit, or something like that.

Ampharos-Apollo-He's God of Light and Ampharos causes light and attacks with it.
Typhlosion-Vulcan-Hephaestus didn't fit so I went Roman (God of Volcanoes). Lavphlasion din't fit either.(Cyndaquilavphlasion. It made sense at the time.)
Tentacool-Squirdward-You know what i mean.
Lapras-Viva-Viva Las Lapras? Well it was 2am...
Phanpy and Donphan-Phant, Phent and Phunt-You know you want to.
Diglett-Doug-Well he just is.

When i traded Jasmine for her Steelix in soulsilver (i happen to love Steelix, probably one of my favorites) and realized it was a male, i had a female steelix in my party already since the begining and nicknamed her Ruby. So Jasmine's was Rusty and mine was Ruby and they had cute little onix babies at the daycare :3

I named my porygon Gizmo. i named my pikachu Pooka after the surfing pikachu in the anime. and i named my arcanine Iroh after uncle iroh in avatar the last airbender (not the stupid movie one)

Charizard - Sonnet - Sonnet means 'Little song'
Arcanine - Wendy - thought it would be cute
Nidoking - Soldier - he is one
Flygon - Macbeth - just thought of it
Raichu - Fuchsia - like purple-pinkish color

^That reminds me, I have a Probopass named Jordon. Sort of an inside joke. I have a friend named Jordon who, for the longest while, had a red nose, cause of allergies or something. He was adorable because of it, unlike Probopass, but I still think it's fitting.

I have only named a very very few pokemon names in my time of playing these games. But these two of my current team will always be remembered:

Gengar M - Viking - I just love the shape of that word... the v, then the i and k. and because I'm a national romantic of course
Magneton - Storm - Well... imagine a storm.... a thunderstorm....

But I haven't come up with good names for my:

Scizor - Apache - Well, it's a steel and flying pokemon right? An apache helicopter is almost the same

Magneton - Storm - Well, you know... electric pokemon - thunder - storm - thunderstorm. you get it?

Yanmega - Meganeura - Yanmega is, according to wikipedia, based upon this prehistoric creature

Typhlosion - Olympus M. - Named after Olympus Mons, the largest volcano and mountain in the solar system, located on Mars.
