Pokemon Online DW UU Team

George~©

All Gravy
My team is built mainly for a safe switch in, and its going relatively well so far, but my win/loss ratio is pretty much neutral. Need C & C to improve this. I play by PO tier listings, not smogon, because I dont like smogon.

Froslass (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Snow Cloak
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Ice Beam
- Spikes
- Destiny Bond
- Taunt

By far the best lead in UU. Taunt ruins other leads, and guarantee's 1 layer of spikes. Beats most other leads for speed, and with sash, D-Bond kills something.

Lanturn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 40 HP / 216 Def / 252 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Surf
- Thunderbolt
- Toxic

Heal Bell because I hate toxic spikes, Surf and T Bolt are stab, Toxic for stallbreaking.

Houndoom (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Flamethrower
- Nasty Plot
- Dark Pulse
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

Switch in to fire for a free set up. Nasty Plot on the switch, or if you know they can't do anything. Originally had HP grass, but it wasn't working incredibly well, and I didn't have a fighting move apart from unreliable Focus Blast.

Sawsbuck-Sum (Sawsbuck-Summer) (M) @ Life Orb
Trait: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility
- Return
- Horn Leech
- Wild Charge

Switch in from Lanturn on a predicted grass move, agility on the switch. If all goes well, this wrecks stuff. Hard to switch into anything else though, because frailness.

Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Seismic Toss
- Pain Split
- Confuse Ray
- Will-O-Wisp

Should be OU, but isn't... By far best defensive wall in UU. No more info needed.

Tornadus (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast
- Dark Pulse

Revenge Killer, but also not. Can switch into a predicted ground move and wreck something. If not, it outspeeds alot of UU non priority pokemon, and isn't incredibly useless on the defensive side so i've found.

No flaming, C&C welcome.

No comments, is a great lead!

Lanturn (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Volt Absorb
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Heal Bell
- Surf/Scald
- Thunderbolt/Thunder Wave
- Toxic

Heal Bell because I hate toxic spikes, Surf and T Bolt are stab, Toxic for stallbreaking.

Why only 40 HP, max HP works better since you don't run Sub, T-wave works really well for outspeeding poké's who are immune to Toxic, and then strike back with Stab Surf/Scald

Houndoom (F) @ Focus Sash
Trait: Flash Fire
EVs: 4 HP / 252 SAtk / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)

Looks good, I should've taken HP grass but since you say it isn't working really well, It's your choice

Sawsbuck-Sum (Sawsbuck-Summer) (M) @ Life Orb/Leftovers
Trait: Sap Sipper
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spd
Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Agility

- Horn Leech
- Wild Charge

With 80/70/70 Defenses it isn't that frail, but I get your point. You need to look out for Priority moves, like Hitmontop Fake out + Mach punch, Maybe leftovers to recover, your choice

Dusclops (M) @ Eviolite
Trait: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP / 216 Def / 40 SDef
Calm Nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Night Shade
- Pain Split
- Toxic
- Will-O-Wisp

Should be OU, but isn't... By far best defensive wall in UU. No more info needed.

Toxic is better to stall, and Seismic toss < Night Shade, since there are way more Ghost then normal pokemon in the metagame.

Tornadus (M) @ Choice Specs
Trait: Prankster
EVs: 252 SAtk / 4 SDef / 252 Spd
Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Air Slash
- Grass Knot
- Focus Blast
- Dark Pulse

Revenge Killer, but also not. Can switch into a predicted ground move and wreck something. If not, it outspeeds alot of UU non priority pokemon, and isn't incredibly useless on the defensive side so i've found.

I should run a physical set, to surprise people, and you have only 1 physical pokemon in your team.

Tornadus@Flight Gem
Ability : Prankster
EV's : 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 HP
Jolly Nature : (+Speed -SpA) OR Adamant (+Atk -SpA)
-Acrobatics
-Crunch
-U-Turn
-Brick Break/Thrash

My self-made set, gives neutral coverage and can deal some scary damage, Adamant is more for the power, but 115 Atk isn't that bad for a UU pokemon.

I think

Changes are in Bold I hope I helped you!

How did I not notice that i only had 1 physical? Dayum.

Im slightly skeptical about the Tornadus however, because I need something physical, but at the same time i'd preferably like it to be banded or scarfed. Suggestions for something better atall?

Staraptor@Choice band/scarf
Ability : Intimidate
EV's : 252 Atk 252 Speed 4 HP
Nature : Adamant (Scarf) OR Jolly (Band)
-Brave Bird
-Close combat
-U-Turn
-Giga Impact/Return

I used this set myself and it has worked really good for me!
No reckless, gives a shitload of recoil when you kill and poke with tons op HP, CC is just strong and U-Turn is to finish pokemon off.
Giga impact is 150 Base power and 225 Base if you add stab.
Staraptor is more a late-game sweeper.

Thanks for the suggestion. If i do decide to switch to reckless i'll need to get a spinner, preferably not sandslash. Because sandslash sucks.

Then Donphan lead will do, but just don't go reckless

I find this to be a good rapid spinner:

Donphan@leftovers
Sturdy
252 hp, 252 atk, 4 def
Impish
-earthquake
-ice shard
-stealth rock
-rapid spin

I s'pose, but 252 defense runs alot better with an Impish nature.
