Hoenn has gone through huge changes. New Pokemon have been discovered in the Hoenn Region-- at least 250! New cities have been built, and new regions have been discovered. (You will get your starter Pokemon in due time.) Unfortunately, an evil group called Team Omni is on the loose, with an evil plan to dominate the world.
Here are some of the basic controls:
To open the Pokedex, say, "Open Dex" in one of your posts. To open the PokeNav, say, "Open Nav" in one of your posts. To check your Trainer's Card, say, "Open TC". To see what Pokemon you have, say, "Open Poke". To see your bag, "Open Item".

In this new game, there are many new Pokemon and old Pokemon from other games. You have the ability to access the Redos Region as well.
There are 200 new Pokemon, plus twenty-seven new Pokemon you can only get via a secret code. Check my posts in other forums for secrets codes to get Pokemon like Sebastea and Scollion or special items used to access new Baby Pokemon such as Houndox.
The new Pokemon include evolutions of existing Pokemon, such as Arsenia, Grimer's Steel/Poison Metal Coat trade evo, and baby forms of existing Pokemon, such as Meditot, the pure Psychic Meditite pre-evo, and the axe-like Tolbax, pre-evolution of the Bug Pokemon Heracross.
IMPORTANT: You do not obtain your starter Pokemon immediately, nor your Pokenav or Pokedex. Just like the GBA games, you must do things to get them.
Saving is automatic.
In the games, you naturally have a rival. In this game, you do as well. This RPG is much more similar to the GBA games than other RPGs, so it may be easy for you.
You may choose, as your starter Pokemon, from Bulbasaur, Squirtle, Charmander, Chikorita, Totodile, Cyndaquil, Treecko, Mudkip, or Torchic. They can be obtained in Professor Birch's lab. (In Redos, there is a different lab (Prof. Willow's) lab where you can get Dropseed (Grass), Beal (Water), and Vester. (Fire))
This is much more a game than a continuing story. (Example: The grass is silent. A few birds fly overhead, out of Pokeball range. The city looms ahead. Thaking a deep breath, you step through the gates and into the city. Where do you wish to go? Into the tall building, into the Gym, back, etc.)
Enjoy your playing! Off you go on your own Pokemon legend!
