No one has figured out which Pokemon sparkle in My Pokemon Ranch. I'm putting this thread together to gather data and maybe figure out why certain pokemon sparkle. Please respond with pics of certain pokemon that have sparkles so we can compile lists. (I'll post pics in a bit) Can I get this stickied?

Update 6/19
For the most part sparkles are determined by Events, Certain Games, and level 100. However it seems that the colors of sparkles are different for maybe each of these. This needs to be looked into more. After looking at some pics and images I think for the most part there are two categories.

Game and Event pokemon - Blue/Green Sparkles
Lvl 100 pokemon - Yellow/Orange Sparkles

This has not been totally confirmed yet

Not every pokemon from other games sparkle.
For example, none of my zapdos, moltres or articuno from xd sparkle, nor do suicune, raikou, entei nor even ho-oh from colosseum.
I can't say about 100th lvl as I do not train that much. I have a feeling they get expended at that level

Will check which of my pokemon shine when I get a chance

After reading some comment, I think I need to double check that my birds are the ones from XD.

My Colloseum Bonus Disk Jirachi DOES NOT sparkle.
My Colloseum Pokemon DO NOT sparkle.
All my level 100 Pokemon DO sparkle (yellow/orange).
My Japanese Colloseum Celebi DOES NOT sparkle.
I also can confirm that the others mentioned here DO sparkle.

My Mawile from XD seems to sparkle green as well.

My Manaphy from Ranger does Sparkle, as does the ALAMOS Darkrai. I haven't double checked this, but I have put a Lv100 Lucario (Hatched from Ridley Egg, recieved from GTS) into the Ranch and it sparkles. So maybe Lv100 pokemon DO sparkle.

my friend has a hacked *gasp* shaymin from flower paradise and it sparkles. Also shiny pokemon sparkle.

Make sure its not a Navel Rock Ho-oh.

Also, I noticed that shinies, if they do sparkle, have bluish-green sparkles. However, my non-shiny Lugia as noted above has that same sparkle.

I think it's safe to assume that level 100s all have sparkles. Most of mine have orange sparkles.

Wrong. I have several shiny Pokemon on my ranch that don't sparkle.

Disregard that Shaymin (cough) and take a look at that shiny Bellossom behind it. No sparkle.

Yeah, so I checked and my shinies don't sparkle. I had definitely thought they did. I guess it was just because my Palkia is level 100 so I automatically assumed it was also because it was shiny xD Anyway, I got a few pictures here.

I think it's been confirmed on GameFAQs that "fateful encounter" Pokemon will have sparkles.
