According to that first scan, the second part of the Burst Heart Survival is called the "Escape the Box Survival."
Out of the sixteen, two people in each box chosen by a lottery. Hariru chooses F, Rash knows he's a Seven Warrior so desperately wants to avoid F. Skip a few pages and Ryouga and Carta are in the E box, and are told their goal is to escape the box within 10 minutes, and it's fine to help each other escape.
Skip a few more pages and there are three minutes left, Ryouga hasn't found a way out of the box so Carta decides to defeat him instead and escape alone.

So, there's a time limit and Karuta decides to finish Ryouga off to escape.

Too bad he's going to lose, I liked his design the most.

You know, I really hope that this isn't the last time we'll see these characters.

They have too many interesting designs for them to simply appear in this story arc and never appear again.

Especially Karuta, Rurimaru, Gizairu, Hariru (If he's defeated here, that is), Pikke, Carola (same for her), Loren, Fraud, and Eurou.

Rabine can jump off a cliff for all I care. <-- (If you didn't notice, I hate clowns).

The rest I don't care much for.

here's hoping they at least showcase some older Pokemon later down the line, though (assuming the manga's still running for a while). Every generation, it seems like they're hyping up just the new Pokemon with the first set of games. But after that winds down a bit, the various media gets around to showcasing a more mixed selection from every generation once we get to the third version and especially the remakes.

Well, to be honest I don't really care about who they are belong to :)
Them appearing is still a random appearance to me, as the Pokemon carrying the box could have been anything.


Not to mention the Solosis did nothing, it just hovers there in a cute way xD

Well, in the previous chapter it used Psychic to take the Burst Hearts of all the other contestants that didn't get past the first round.

Speaking of which, were they all dumped into the sea like the guy who Pauline dumped before she made the floor fall?

And I didn't even know someone is actually dumped out before the first round even begins....mainly because I rarely see the scans that are not posted here.

Well we don`t see all of what happens in the manga. Example: when Carola appears for the first time, there was no image of when she falls from the sky to land on Hariru`s hand and then put the burst heart in her mouth. I wish I could see that.

That last ReBURST is boss. The mummy one. I always forget the name, but yeah its boss. Love the look of it. Just noticed the golurk too! :O Amazing is what they're doing, I need a game of this series stat damn it.

Even if Loren goes down, judging from that early promotional picture, this is not the last time we see him, if they are the same person that is.

Also, poor Rush xD

Battsu doesn't seems to be fighting Rurimaru, it seems more like he is trying to crush the wall of the box.

Pikke with Dokan is an interesting "combination", wonder what the result will be.

Awesome! Now we`ll see Carola`s Burst! The Beartic guy is so going down. Against Carola`s Emboar`s Burst, he can just lose. Will be fun to watch.
