I don't think so, there's always the art. :3 I do agree that the best way to read a manga is when you can enjoy the art and the story at the same time though.

Yeah, They put the first four chapters online (well, I've never seen just where 2-4 are available but I have read those versions)

Spoiler: Stuff

Hilgreitz isn't defeated and continues attacking Ryouga
Tougo's Galvantuala gets seriously hurt protecting Tougo and Miruto
Hilgreitz uses a final technique called Drigger Impact
Ryouga has a flashback to when he was younger
He was sick and his father (or Arcades) took him to Mt. Serables (for the Silver Drop? How convenient)
Ryouga unlocks his Dragon-type Powers (I think, maybe it's the cat eyes)
Ryouga kicks the crap out of Hilgreitz, finally defeating him
Hilgreitz's Burst Heart breaks and his Excadrill is freed
Ryouga uses the Silver Drop to heal Galvantula and himself
They leave and I assume Ryouga wants to fight Hilgreitz again

The blurb shows that a new character will appear next chapter
