This is an interesting little idea, and I've never seen a thread that does this. This is a cool thread for beginning or struggling players who want advice on a team to use.

OK, a poster simply has to post one pokemon and a reccomendable moveset that you have at some point used successfully ingame.

Posters wanting advice can ask for a moveset or pokemon reccomendation, however the following things should be included if applicable;

Your current team
Your current location
The purpose of the pokemon (eg. who you are trying to defeat)
The type you require

I hope some people find this thread useful.

No, It's more of a help thread than a rate my team thread. He never says post teams to get rated. It is to post your current gameplay and get help & advice. Am I right?

what i read was, you post your team and current location (aswell as other things), and people tell you the best way to get past the location

Say your stuck at a gym leader, due to your team being weak or weak to the gym type. So people would suggest to you the best movesets/pokemon or stratagy to beat said gym leader

well, to me, thats a rate my team

thats what i got from the original post. i could be wrong and read it wrong

A rate my team is where people give your team a score and give you minor help on movesets, This is not just about move sets, say you were stcuk and couldn't get through a cave you would get help. Now what has that got to do with a team?

Okay settled, I agree with you on that. The individual game sectios are a good enough help.

Way I read it, until it got into the weird help with moveset thing, is to post a pokemon people might not use normally. Kinda like... "Give me a team."

I recommend Clefable. Good defenses.

It's like this, just to clear it up.

You can either post a reccomendation or ask for one. For instance;

Poster 1: I'm having trouble beating Wattson's Magneton with Kirlia, Grovyle and Golbat in my team on Emerald. Help me!
Poster 2: Well, you should get a ground type ideally. How about going back to get a Geodude from Dewford Cave? It learns Magnitude at Level 16 and will be able to take down Magneton if trained to a high enough level. It'll also be a great addition to your team as a Graveller and Golem.

So it's just an advice thread designed for reccomending team additions. I hope you guys find it useful.

P.S. Your current team and location are needed so that the reccomender knows what you can catch and what items you'll have access to at the current time. The current team tells a reccomender what types you don't have, and could do with.
