Pokemon Remarketing strategy (and a little next gen)

For the 5th generation they should make the 2 versions different ratings. one E and one T( E10+) that way it appeals to both youngs and olders.

The show is the main marketer of pokemon unfortunately. and most veiwers are the loyal fans and the little kids. cause it's aimed at little kids. but once they out grow it they shove it as a baby thing. this is pokemon's biggest flaw. it's like barney, popular only for 1-3 year olds and then everyone hates it cuse they tink its stupid. the show is admittably a little lame with repetitive "story-arcs".
IMO they need to do the following to save pokemon from slowly and gradually running itself into the ground:
1) Abolish the show
2) Market the manga
3) Market the games
4) Make Red/Blue/Green gen for the Gamecube with a little more backbone to the story to make it go better with the manga or something.
5) After the game sells make a new show (without ash) more focused on the game, almost exactly like the game, and make it like Teen Titans was for 8-14 range maybe even a little more (9-15/16)
6) Make GSC for the gamecube as well and also give it more of a backbone to the story and have the characters from the old game return and whatnot.
7) Season 2 of the new show make it the 2nd gen with returning rbg characters.
8) Repeat steps with RSE
9) Repeat steps with DP
10) repeat steps with Gen 5 and beyond.

Pokemon is only declining in popularity in western countries. In Japan, it's as popular as ever and whole new 'badass rep' isn't really needed. Remember, Gamefreak, the show producers and whoever else cater for the Japanese first, and don't really care what the people in western counties think. Thus not much of what you mentioned is going to happen.

And don't market the manga ._. Half the populace LOVE manga in general, the the other half thinks it's geeky. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the manga, but marketing pokemon's manga as it's main drive is probably going to drive some people away.
