The first four lines were two pokemon, namely flareon and eevee. The called after years and years is a reference to their names' suffix, "eon". Similarly, the next two lines both represent the same two pokemon. One's the snake, and one's the prey.

Not every line is a different pokemon.

And the prey has never actually been prey to the snake (in the usual sense anyway). It's just presumably its prey.

I lost the game?!?!
It can alter time and space....hmm...sounded like freaking Arceus to me.
But then...maybe it's a Pokemon who can use transform(transform int Dialga and Palkia, get it?), so it's either Mew or Ditto.

It's Giratina. He's in the torn world, which is the confused lands. The item case is referenced to the special item that allows him to stay in origin form.
