csisps, you're right. and so are you, shadow eeveelution, they're Cynthia's pokemon.

First is the one that cannot be beat,
Second is the one that can't eat any treats,
Third is the one with patriotic vegetation,
Fourth is the one that helped save the nation,
Fifth is the one that proves evolution,
And the sixth will help you find the solution.
#6 is a lot like me,
But where I cannot go, it can roam free.
I'm active and passive, slow yet fast,
When I strike, you're not gonna last.
Who am I?

Is the 5th one Gabite? Unlike Garchomp, it doesn't have any biting attacks...

I lost my Moe_Joe!
Fifth is the one that proves evolution. The answer is, without a doubt, Gastrodon. First of all it is the only missing of Cynthia's pokemon, however, much more cleverly and not to sound too nerdy now, but it in fact does "prove" evolution. According to Charles Darwin, animals and in this case pokemon are affected by their environments which as such cause changes for example in appearance. Similarly, in the games, when Gastrodon is caught on the Eastern side of the Map it is blue and on the Western it is red. Therefore, the final solution to the riddle is Cynthia. All of the pokemon are owned by her and "When she strikes, you're not gonna last."

I know that the final solution has already been reached but i just wanted to make my contribution

Is the seventh and eighth Munchlax and Snorlax...since they are both big eaters and they both are in the same evo. line....

Yes, you're right. that was tricky because I was referring to the Darwin type of evolution, not pokemon evolution. but the answer is not Cynthia. the answer is a pokemon.
