• Hi all
Just a notice, we recently discovered that someone got into a moderator account and started hard deleting a load of key and legacy threads...around 150 threads have been lost dating back to 2007 and some weeks ago so we can't roll the forums back.
Luckily no personal data could be accessed by this moderator, and we've altered the permissions so hard deleting isn't possible in the future
Sorry for any inconvenience with this and sorry for any lost posts.

Now completed the main story. Fezandipiti ended up being more difficult than expected as it kept breaking out but eventually got caught in a luxury ball.
For me Munkidori was the hardest to catch since it kept using Nasty Plot to take out my team. Eventually I had to switch in my Kingambit to eat all the hits before it stayed in a Ultra Ball.

- Speaking of which, Ogerpon is such a precious little sweetheart who must be protected at all costs. She's easily one of my favourite Legendaries now, I'd have her on the main team if I wasn't already using Gogoat. It's also nice how her Wellspring and Cornerstone Mask forms are the first Water/Grass and Rock/Grass-types we've had since Gen 3.

I was wondering about that and the Cornerstone gives me a lot of resemblance of Bastiodon.

Same for me. I didn’t have a False Swiper so the combination of Swagger, Flatter, and Roost made it difficult to keep it at low health without KO’ing it.

Did you manage to test if the Toxic Chain can work on Steel types like Salazzle line Corrosion ?

Actually Kingambit would work excellently for catching Munkidori as it is immune to its entire kit. It does not get any sleep inducing moves but you can use Thunder Wave to increase the chance of catching it. Gholdengo would be good for Fezandipiti if it got better “catcher” moves (just Night Shade and Thunder Wave).

Finally had time to finish the DLC! I was a little disappointed that it was released during the middle of the week- like how does TPC think I'm paying for all these DLCs? I have a JOB Ishihara-san!
I didn't really prepare for the DLC with a new team, so unsurprisingly my LV100 raid-builds curb-stomped anything dumb enough to get in their way-- I'm lookin' at you, Kieran! Speaking of... Both Kieran and Carmine are the poster children for untreated mental illness and I have to wonder what TPC was thinking when developing their characters. I caught Ogrepon in a Friend Ball and named her Ponya since she's always saying "pon" or some variation of it, and she's now the captain of the raid-builds. I freaking LOVE how cute she is! I caught Ursaluna and am now on my way to catch the Loyal Three!

Completed the Kitakami Dex and received the Gleaming Charm from Jauv. Now going to focus on the Billy and O'Nare sidequest and donating to restore the Loyalty Plaza. As for building my team for Indigo Disk, currently torn whether to train up Munkidori or wait for the DLC to transfer and train up a Beldum into Metagross.

Just finished up the Ogerpon quest by beating Kieran and made the capture with Ogerpon.
funny parts with the battle is I've decided to give my ride Koraidon some battle action. (While I rarely use him as a battler, but he put up a good battle in both parts. and as for Ogerpon, I've though it would be best to catch her in a friend ball, fitting for her since she needed to know we are going to be friends, and the color of the poke ball matches her too.

Completed Kitikami pokedex after breeding for a Cleffa and a Feebas. Raids made this dex quite a bit easier.

I also used a friend ball for Ogrepon. It just seemed fitting.

decided to go after Ogerpon's bullies again, this time I'm catching them
first with Munkidori- easy capture!d
second with Okidogi- was a pain but still got him
3rd is fezandipiti was annoying with swagger and Flatter spamming. and decided to end it with a timer ball
I think I'll take another round with Ogre Oustin. (check out my thread in the Wi-fi form for details if you wish to join me)
extra notes; 've just finsihed up a side quest where a guy makes picnic chairs and he rewards you with a Herba Mystcia set (2 of each)

So I just got around to playing the Teal Mask on my Violet game today. I've just found the third signpost on the orienteering task and have gotten a grasp of the real story of the Kitakami Legends. It's very interesting and I'm looking forward to how it all unfolds. I feel so bad for Kieran though.

I also caught some Applin & Poltchageist and then bought a few syrupy apples and found the two unremarkable teacups. I'm gonna wait until I've caught Ogrepon & The Loyal Three and then evolve them. I'm not looking forward to having to complete the Kitakami Dex just for Bloodmoon Ursaluna...I'm gonna leave that until the end. I plan on playing the Treasures Of Area Zero on both versions so I guess I can always just transfer everything over to my Scarlet game so I can get the Bloodmoon Ursaluna a lot quicker on that game.

Just fought Kieran for the fourth time in Scarlet & I have to admit that he's genuinely strong. My pokemon were around the same level as his team and he put up a decent fight. I also loved the cutscenes confronting him since I honestly feel bad for him and you can clearly see him descending into a jerk rival. All & all I'm really loving the DLC so far (even with the frame rate issues).

I'm taking a break from the Teal Mask story in my Violet game for now and making my own version of what Nemona's team would be (pretty much the same as her in-game Sprigatito team, but replace Orthworm & Lycanroc with Palafin & Lokix, and make her Goodra a Hisuian variant). I'm raising their EVs right now & planning on making them the same level as my Scarlet team once I clear the Teal Mask in there so they can battle each other after returning to Paldea.

went to discord and recruited some players for the ogre ousting mini game. got through normal and hard mode, we were so close in one game with 2 berries needed. but at least the Mochi, berries, and other rewards are nice to farm.

You! Me! Rivals! Yes?
I had the most rotten luck today; I'm going through the Area Zero mission in the base game and as I was approaching the third research station, a Shiny Venomoth spawned just as I was stepping forward and set off the cutscene, and of course by the tine it had ended all of the spawns had reset and the Shiny was gone. That has really boiled my blood, and I feel as if I should spend some time doing raids and gathering Herba for Shiny hunting sandwiches to make up for it.

I got a lot done today. I finished the story and caught The Loyal Three & Ogerpon. I also obtained a Dipplin & a Sinistcha. I'm currently working on catching the 150 Pokémon from the Kitakami Dex for the Perrin quest so I can get Bloodmoon Ursaluna.

I'm just wondering how many other side quests is there for me to do in Kitakami? I think I might start The Teak Mask on my Scarlet save sometime next week.
