I was wondering how your pokemon can grow better stats... I've got a Groundon lv.100 but he doesn't have much more than 335 HP, and then I found this JPEG with a Groundon lv.75 that has 404 HP!!

What am I doin' wrong??

you've just got to get lucky! Individual values or IVs are generated randomly when you meet the Pokemon, if the groudon happens to have a high IV in HP then it will probably have more HPs, however EV training gives around 36 points to a stat so you can try to ev train it for HP

if you visit the main site you'll be able to read all about them. It's basically that when you battle certain Pokemon they give your pokemon invisible evs. You can give your pokemon a maximum of 510 evs with 255 max, in any stat therefore maximizing two stats such as attack and defense, evs usually add 36 stat points (approx) to the maxed out stat!

correction: EV training adds up to 63 points, at level 100, to an unboosted stat.

and the groudon you saw (with 404 HP) has the highest HP any groudon can have. 31 IV, 252 EVs, and level 100.

to learn about IV, EVs, and stats, go to the sticky about them in the R/S/E FAQs.

Stat-boosting items also help. They cost 9800 without a sale and 4900 with a sale, so check TVs whenever you can.
