and why did they get rid of may in the DP series
also i miss misty when ash went to the johto region and finally i love brock's Bonsly!!!! bonsly is soooooo cute

He never gave away any of those Pokemon you mentioned. All of those but Charizard are at Oak's Lab, and all of them including Charizard can be called up at any time. Charizard's been brought back multiple times, in fact.

As for your second question, it's because the writers are simply morons.

It's all advertising. Old Pokemon are phased out for new Pokemon.

Of course its annoying when it happens to the human characters. The only reason May left was because they'd rather have the D/P sprite doing Contests than an old R/S/E girl.

Thankfully though, at least May went out in her prime and had a satisfactory ending. I do hope we see her Johto arc in specials though, but it seems rather unlikely at this point.

but he also uses new pokemon along with his old ones and espesialy when he battles noland and his articuno

Thank you for that bizarre stream of consciousness, Virginia Woolf.

Satoshi doesn't "give away" any of his Pokémon. He respects the fact that they are needed elsewhere, or he drops them off at Ookido-hakase's lab because he can't carry them all at once. The only Pokémon he's ever given away was the Spear he caught in Jouto, and that was because he knew that Nanako wanted a Spear more than he did.

They got rid of Haruka because they were done advertising Ruby and Sapphire. Kasumi got written off the show because her character didn't fit the direction that the show was going to go in Houen. As for your love of Takeshi's Usohachi...well, hurray for you, I guess.

Well in my opinion Ash cannot simply start out in a new region with Charizard, Donphan, Snorlax, Heracross, Tauros and Pikachu, because it would cheapen the battles even more, for example when he started in Hoenn what if he had used Tauros and Treecko against Geodude and Nosepass?, It would have been dumb, Now dont ask why he didnt do it in Johto the only thing I can tell is that AG was a completly different series in Japan so there you are, But he does so in Hoenn and Shinou I guess because he had to be on the same level as the new trainers he ran with { May & Hikari } since they where just starting and they couldnt have one trainer with super strong pokes and one trainer with a starter and a bug
