Not really. It's the Ubers that have ridiculous stats, but that's why they have their own metagame. The pokemon with base 600 stats are not, "over powered" because they are not hard to take out at all. Ice Beam takes out Salamence and Dragonite in one hit and Choice Band Earth Quake from an Aerodactyle can take out Metagross in one hit. Starmie used surf. Bye-bye T-tar.

Dragonite is easily countered by a common move. Ice Beam usually 1-hit-KOs.

Ubers are overpowered, of course. And most OUs just keep getting better and better.

not neccicarilly 1 hit remember how high his stats are so ice beam might not 1 hit it and if it uses lets say flame thrower on the ice type he might 1 hit it because his stats are 2 high and also if its mixed with water type then thunder bolt/thunder

Funny, when I first saw the thread title, Wobbuffet was the first thing that came into my mind. :)

But seriously, I think that the game creators went a little overboard with this one. First, Wobbuffet is going to use Encore. If you use an attacking move, then Wobbuffet is going to take a chunk of your Hit Points out with Counter or Mirror Coat, meaning that you're in a lot of trouble from that point on. Normally, with a Pokemon like this, you'd switch out. But no, you can't because Wobbuffet has an ability that prevents switching. I suppose you could defeat Wobbuffet by using a move like Toxic before it has the chance to use Safeguard. However, there's not much you can do if your Pokemon doesn't know a move like that.

Anyone else hate how Skarm and Bliss got BETTER this gen? So did some other OUs...probably why the tiers are so far apart.

i know its funny but have you ever trained it to level 30 it defense is probaly 130 and level 50 245

That stupid Wobbufet thing is the most OU thing in existence. I just hate n00bs that come saying they pwn all just because they have 6 Wobbufets in their team >O
