in my opnion sneasel did'nt exaclty need an evo like weavile but sneasel was fine without it dunsparce is just as good aslo i read the rant thread raised one a pwn my friends mewtwo after ten battles

SPINDAS NOT USELESS, and if they did give them evos it would prolly look wierd... but i think Cherrimu, Perap and Pachirisu should have evos!! im sure thay can make a giant squirrel and flower and bird (b/c they always look the same when they evolve)


But i think the first generation pokemon shouldnt haave gotten a new one... well i like magmar's, but like magniton's he shouldnt have 1... he looks the exact same, and same with tangela!!!

In my opinion the legend what Sneasel is based on grows and matures into a form that looks like Weavile. So no, I don't have a problem with that... even if I am keeping my Sneasel army.

I agree, except many evos are quite different to their pre-evos, eg Bunyatto, Flygon, Pupitar.

I agree on Tangela, but Jibacoil is not the same as Magneton. It's more like a UFO. Magneton, however cool also is simply three Magnemites. Also, giving first gen Pokemon evos can give a new lease of life into them.

Absol doesn't evolve. Arseus is a seperate Pokemon altogether.

Absol should stay a standalone though IMO, and same with Skarmory. A baby version of that would be pointless, and an evolution would be almost broken. Skarm is already an amazing Pokemon.

But they NEVER where standalones...They were just revealed before there pre-evos but they have always been in evolution chains.

luvdisc should have one bcause it is the weakest final evolution in the pokemon world and i have its shiny form =(

I liked some of the evos in this one, but I would really like to see more babies like Tyrogue. I could easily see a baby that could evolve into either Farfetch'd or Perap. The evolution methods were pretty cool in this game though, I'd like to see one in the next gen that actually combines two pokemon into one stronger one. For example, Eevee combining with a ghost pokemon to make a Ghost eeveelution. Electebuzz is one of my favorite pokemon and I'm glad-ish that they gave him an evo but I'd like it more if it was Electric/Fighting type.

I like pokemon with no evos either, but I think in the end every pokemon will have three stages (apart from the ones that can evolve into differetn forms like Eevee, Tyorgue and Slowpoke)

Hey, I really like Lickitung's evo. Reminds of my favorite Final Fantasy 9 character, Quina Quen. Also, its stats rule, which is awesome. I loved Lickitung before but it was unusable.
