What sort of pokemon would be the best to live in a house, or in an apartment with their trainer?

And the ones that would be the most quietest, and most calmest?

Pikachu; it can power your appliances!

Most likely any Pokemon based off domestic dogs and cats.

Things might get complicated once it evolves into an Arcanine. That's a big fluffy dog to deal with!
Well it only evolves via Fire Stone so as long as they don't go to one of those rock/gem shops or stuff, growlithe should be good. Either that or tie an everstone to its leash

Obviously Eevee is a realistic choice. It's a close thing to a real pet and it's cute. Fennekin also looks like a cute pet in it's base form, add everstone on a collar to either one if you want eternal fluffyness and voila. Also a training Fennekin to burn crooks should be easy.

Not only is it cute as all hell, but Joltik is also so tiny that you could literally have it sleep in your shirt pocket.

Wouldn't mind having a Litten. That's pretty much what I want right now- a black cat.
Tortoiseshell pattern tabby (brown over black) is a closer match to due to the fact that litten is also red.

The humanlike Pokémon EG: Lopunny Gardevoir and Cinderace.

Any Pokemon based on an animal kept as a pet

In the Pokemon world, a reason many people would keep a Pokemon solely as a pet would be opposition to battling.

I've always wanted a pet Pikachu.

Amphetamine
Any Pokemon that can be used like a power source so Electric types mostly. Also something like Timburr would be good for building additions to homes.
