Personally i think that if they did make a live action movie it would be a completely new story line, so if ash and some other main characters were in it, it would be like we have never met them before. There would be no connections to the anime events and such. But just my opinion...

Well they usually change actors if it's from a different place. Like the ring, they changed the actors(i think). If they don't change actors for english if they make a movie, then they will just do translation.

Uh, no. The Ring was a remake of the Japanese movie, Ringu, that happened years after the first one was made. Japanese franchise to Japanese movie = Japanese actors. It's as simple as that.

All you can hope for is a craptacular American dub (an example being House of Flying Daggers). Not that I think there will ever be a live-action Pokémon movie.
