One thing I do think could be good to add into this game is some sort of VS seeker equivalent. Even back in the gen 1 games I always wanted to rematch random trainers as the games often feel a bit empty when you've beaten all the trainers and can only rematch specific ones (or in some games you can't even do that aside from the league). The ability to rematch them makes the world feel a bit more alive.
Unrelated to these games: For Gen. 5 remakes; What if we got yellow Flying Taxis carried by Braviary? Just something I thought of since HMs became redundant sinc Sun & Moon.
Given that hoverboard thing the player character has I could see that being able to be upgraded and being the main form of travel. That could work to solve a few different terrain issues like flight (but not until unlocked later)
I'm interested in seeing how extensive the diving mechanic seen in the trailer is. I wonder if you'll truly be able to dive anywhere or just in designated areas.
I going to guess Summer as well, because I don't think they will be bold enough to wait a whole 6 months or longer for Gen.10 news. Legends Z-A I understand because there wasn't a bunch of 'new' stuff besides Megas and obviously they couldn't spoil the whole thing by showing all of them beforehand.
Still hoping for first quarter release for Winds and Waves or summer because the game has very summer vibes to me, but that probably wouldn't effect the release date decision either way.

Although I think it’s important to temper expectations when it comes to getting information this year about Winds & Waves, because it could easily be a case where it comes out in November of next year in which case we wouldn’t be getting any new information about Winds & Waves until Pokémon Day 2027.
In all honesty though the fact that they put the release date as 2027 instead of early 2027 does hurt the chances of it coming out within the first quarter of 2027.
Since when it came to Legends Arceus which came out in towards the end January of 2022, they initially said it would come out in early 2022.
Where as Legends Z-A they just said it would come out in 2025 which led us to get it in October of 2025 with us not really getting much information on it until Pokémon Day 2025.

One thing I would like this gen to do is fill in some of the gaps when it comes to moves (especially when they are not signature moves). Fairy needs more Physical options. There should better physical options for Electric. Rock probably could do with some more special options and some accurate physical ones.

And the fact that they haven't deviated from a Fall release since XY except for LA, which had its release date bumped by two months because of BDSP taking the Holiday 2021 spot instead.
