OK... what if Sony make the games...
First, one thing here: Sony doesn't make games. They make consoles and crappy games. The good games on Playstation are ALL third party games.
Now... I'm still doubtful Pokemon would be accepted as it is on the "console for REAL, mature gamers"... so here is a list of changes that would be made:
-Cute stuff sucks. Makes the characters "cool" and generic-looking because that cute stuff is for kidd1e5.
-Replace the generic "Become the Champion" plot with a generic "Defeat sealed Demon from thousands of years ago".
-Mewtwo? Mew? Celebi? Ho-oh? What are those freaks? Kick them out and replace them with generic zodiac/mithology monsters like the summons in FF for exemple.
-Blood and gore because that Sony games aren't for k1ddi35.
-Simplify the battle system. Everyone knows that the average joe doesn't want to think. You must be able to defeat the champion... I mean, the generic angel-shaped final boss with a type disadvantage at level 10.
-The strongest character having 400 HPs and 300 attack and defense? LAME! Characters have 520 HPs at level 1 and 2050420121034209 HPs at level 50. Damage range from 140 to 9022040401040129439 points.
-Make the attack animations two-hours long and ultra-exhagerated. Read: When doing Explosion, there is a gigantic nuclear explosion and the entire solar system explodes and a shower of meteors rain on the target.
-Remove all the challenge. Again, the average joe isn't too patient and don't want to make efforts to make it to the ending.
-Make the hero a "cool" teenager angst-ridden moron. No one wants happy, optimistic k1dd135 as their hero character, right?
-Team Rocket? Team Magma? Team Aqua? Mewtwo and his evil clone army? Screw all that. Fear the generic terrorist organisation or the generic "we wanna wake up evil Demon" cult!
-Contests? This isn't a k1dd135' game, remove this!
-Remove every original, cartoony character. Only "cool" characters allowed!
-Oh and add in guns and cars! Everyone likes guns, cars! Why not some gangstas, ninjas, and pirates too? Go ninja, go!
Well, that's all. Yes, it's quite ridiculous but well... that's that.
