But shinies are not that hard to catch. I say save your master balls, and try to catch every pokemon with ultra, great, dive, ect. I used one of mine on Mewtwo just because i spent like 23943764 times trying to catch him in my L/g version, but i did not use it on Entei, which was indeed the biggest mistake of my game, I kind of forgot that thewy immediately run, so yeah. I will change everything i said, use it on one of the legendary dogs.

Legendary wise, use it on the folowing (Mainly due to def upping, which does make it harder):

Groundon (Can raise def with bulk up, makeing it harder to catch)
Rayquaza (Just plian nasty to get, with lv 70 and rest)
Both latis (They run)
Regis (Curse ups def, which makes catching harder)
Shiny pokes that are at a high level, run, or are so low lved that you can't waeken them.

And, MrBrightside, this is Ruby/Saph/emerald discussion, so we don't really want to know about Mewtwo and Entei here.

I save it for "mobile" legendaries (Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Latias, Latios).

Except on LeafGreen, where I used it on Mewtwo before I knew I'd get Raikou too...

Like the majority, use it on the Latis because it gets boring chasing them around like wild geese. Or if you do have the patience, a shiny Pokemon... particularly one that knows Roar should you ever counter one. :/

I have a question of my own. If high defense=difficult to catch, then would using leer to lower defense make capture easier (on G/S/C, I mean)

When did stats have anything to do with catching a Pokemon?

Save it for any shiny Pokemon, or the Latis. The legends aren't worth it. You can just use Net/Timer/Ultra Balls.
