My team in X was Delphox, Pangoro, Aurorus, Sylveon, Ampharos, and Lapras. I very rarely use duplicate types, but 1) I like Lapras, 2) it came free with good moves, and 3) I needed a Surfer.

Hey I will be restarting Y when I get Pokebank is this a good team (Starting, not fully evolved):
Chespin, male (No item).
Giga drain, Zen Headbutt, Drain Punch, Iron Head.
Charmander, male (Charizardite Y)
Dragon Pulse, Heat Wave, Iron Tail, Thunder punch.
The in-game Tyrunt fossil.
The in-game Lucario
Gible, Male (Garchompite, when found).
Undecided moveset.
Rotom, Wash (No item)
Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt, rest undecided.

I haven't started playing yet but I plan on building a team based mainly on speed with one or two massive pokes for raw power. So idk how this works out with type effectiveness, but it's a rough draft. Using only Kalos pokemon and if there's any suggestions on faster pokemon, please let me know.

I picked up Grimer for the final slot of my team because I'm going to have a tough time against fairies. Currently debating on whether I'm dropping Slaking or not. Truant is really getting on my nerves. I don't really have anything to replace him with at the moment, though.

Also debating on switching Sneasel. I really don't need two Dark types on the team...and, to be honest, it really bums me out that I can't evolve it. Though an eviolite set might be good. I just ran a nuzlocke on Y version using only gen 6 pokes, and yeesh, I did not expect Hawlucha, Furfrou or Dedenne to be that good. I recommend them for the ingame.
