have you ever taped yourself and a friend battle on pokemon xd. (you know, put a blank tape in the vcr and hit record.) i used to do that with some old games and didn't get a chance with this one. ( i don't own, only rent.) ;249-d;

How is recording your self play a game piracy?
If he was to coppy the game onto a fake GC disk and it works then sold it.. that's piracy...

yea, it's just so when ever i want to, i can see what my mistakes were that i made when fighting and correct them next time. it's also fun to see how far i have gotten since i first started playing.

Exactly. It's not piracy unless you're making a working copy of the game, which other people can play. You can't play games on a VCR.
