Yo,

I'm a new member here..but I've been playin Pokemon since MS...

Anywho, I've noticed that when I play Emerald or Sapphire I hear PokeVoices when I'm running around...

Has anyone else ever hear these voices ??? ;201-s;
If you have do have like some purpose....

I have heard the cries. It read somewhere that it is to make the game more realistic and that it gives you a clue of what Pokemon are hidden in that area. if you hear a strange cry, there will probably be a new Pokemon lurking about.

There is also an ability that makes these cries occur more often.

You will of course. This is trying to make the enviorment more realistic in terms of being in the open. It's natural for that to happen, and I was freaked out cause I thought I was getting into a battle when I first heard the noises.

Yes I have & many times to, it's something random to happen.

Yes, I have noticed those cries.
There is also an ability in Emerald that raises the chance of hearing a cry. I don't remember which one, though.

What really annoys me about this, is when I'm running down the Route to Fortree City, and the music's disliked by me enough as it is, but I don't want a Linoone cry disrupting the peace.

...I should get Emerald.

I always wondered why I would hear Zubat's cry whenever I was in a cave. Now I know why.

Swarm is the abiltiy that increases the chances of hearing Pokemon's cries.

Ya, I hear them I think they are cries of pokemon, but most of the time I hear zigzagoon

Yeah, when you have to save the world from these legendary Pokemon, it's nice to have some realism in the adventure.

Hmmm, maybe you can hear Latios' cry from these fields.....?
