Which do you think is better for wish cave?

Consider which levels faster, which has better level up moves, which has better base stats and remember mew can learn any tm you bring in as you can bring items into wish cave. ;123;

Just a bit more info for other members and a comparison between the both, followed by own opinion.

Mewtwo;150;:
HP: 50
Att/Def: 25/ 15
SpA/SpD: 25/ 15
Base EXP Value: 250

Level Up Moves
L 1 Disable
L 1 Confusion
L 11 Barrier
L 22 Mist
L 33 Swift
L 44 Recover
L 55 Safeguard
L 66 Psychic
L 77 Psych Up
L 88 Future Sight
L 99 Amnesia

Mew;151;:
HP: 35
Att/Def: 20/ 15
SpA/SpD: 20/ 15
Base EXP Value: 250

Level Up Moves:
L 1 Pound
L 10 Transform
L 20 Mega Punch
L 30 Metronome
L 40 Psychic
L 50 Ancientpower

Consider which levels faster
As you can see, both Mewtwo and Mew level up at the EXACT same speed.
which has better level up moves
I think Mewtwo has better in level up moves. Attacks like disable are useful to temporarily paralyse strong opponents, while confusion can sometimes confuse the foe. Mew's only attack will be pound in the early floors(transform is useless).
which has better base stats
Mewtwo and Mew have same defences, but Mewtwo has more HP and more offensive power than Mew. So, Mewtwo is better in stats.
So far, Mewtwo is better than Mew in everything.
remember mew can learn any tm you bring in
This is the only thing that makes Mew sometimes better. Frustration (OHKO in early floors), thunderbolt (monster houses) & bullet seed (powerful move) are some the best moves for Wish Cave but Bullet Seed can only be learnt by Mew. Also, just for those who are curious, Mew can travel over water (thus escape from foes) while Mewtwo can't.
I used Mewtwo and I was successful. Disbale Jirachi, then unleash strongest moves. Mew can use bullet seed, and maybe paralyse using thunderbolt, but still Jirachi can attack and kill you. So if one dies in a boss battle, you can't send SOS mail, hence you have to go through the whole dungeon again:(.

Scepgatr just said nearley everything I think anyone could say.

I personally prefer Mew. Just take thse TMs:

Dunegeon
TM09 Bullet Seed (Best attack in game)
TM21 Frustration (Best attack in Lv1 dungeons)
TM24 Thunderbolt (Monster Houses)

Jirachi
TM05 Roar (Blows opponent's away and against Jirachi it rocks)
TM09 Bullet Seed (Hit Jirachi from a distance)
TM21 Frustration (If Jirachi is close and you've done lot of damage)

Teach Mew Roar at star of match then run to other side of the room. Roar Jirachi all the way back and Bullet Seed for a while. When it get's close Frustration.

Nice sceptgatr it seems the only thing mew has on mewtwo is moves though what zaraze said seems like quite a foolproof way to beat jirachi.

It looks like it is easier for mewtwo to get through the 98 floors but it is easier for mew to beat jirachi due to tm moves as the psychic type moves mewtwo learns levelling up are weak against jirachi.

at the moment im leaning towards mew and having roar and bullet seed tms in my toolbox for jirachi. ;123;

I used ;151;

Alakazam is a lot better than those 2 because Alakazam doesn't need to level up it has 40 Def. and Sp.Def. at Lv. 1! Bring Reviver Seeds, Frustration, Pass Scarf, and other stuff and it'll be easy

I beat it with Charizard. I used Roar, Heat Wave and Frustration instead of Bullet Seed. Also note it was Lv17 on Floor 99 and I had a Skarmory that managed to draw off all the attacks.

Mew is probably the best choice because mew can learn any TM move so you could teach it moves like frustration, thunderbolt, roar, and bullet seed.
Also, Mew levels up quickly and even though you could probably faint easily you could be rescued 30 times from a password or something else.(just saying)

I wanted ketchup!!!
I think mew would be the best

Mewtwo has a slightly higher Attack power than Mew, but a smidgen lower defense. I voted for Mewtwo.
Do you think Mew's better?

Well, I voted mew(like most of you) as it can learn all TMs, and it can float. So if you need a hasty escape, just float over water to the other side, as few Pokemon can follow you. But, I still prefer Alakazam, as it can teleport if you're in a monster house, so if you have a pass scarf and max elixers you can get through quite easily.

But, if Septile can learn absorb at a low level, I might use it.

ESP Used Psychic
Alakazam. It has insanely high defence at level 1 and with a pass scarf is almost unkillable (If your not stupid enough to head straight into someone with quick attack/ember/dig)

Alakazam starts with teleport, and you can bring 2 frustrations and a protect.
Teleport is for running away if you are boxed in. Frustration always dishes out 45 damage so it is quite useful. And Protect is for covering the last few steps to the stairs with an enemy behind you.

For jirachi, link the 2 frustrations together, protect, and kill it with the frustrations.

ooo, what's cooking?
Mewtwo sucks, i tryed him, he died on 23rd floor, and don say i suck, cause at PMD I'm ownege...
If only i had Mew, i would use those 4 TMs, and woop them all!

Neither.

use Alakazam (SUPERB def. and sp. def.), Charizard (heat wave owns), OR Electrode (decent stats and learns sonicboom when you enter the dungeon which has 55HP set damage ALSO he learns it AGAIN at lvl. 15, you could link them to deal a total of 110HP set damage)
