Requiem's Eclipse
Hopelessly Hopeful
I'm not a big fan of Shake It Off, but after about 10 listens I'll shamefully put it on my phone. I'm excited about her full on pop because, let's be honest, this is what she wanted from the beginning. Her music always was in a weird half and half area except for her first album. To be honest, the only thing country about her old stuff is the occasional nod to country music like Mean, or a solitary fiddle every once in a while. She doesn't even use the country music twang. I started noticing her change at Speak Now because it was more rock than country. Then Red came out and I was like, she is so smart. She has slowly been making the change to pop so that it wouldn't be so jarring.
