Portraying the Legendary birds as humans?

At the moment, I'm writing a ficcie and am having trouble getting a description on how to accurately portray Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres as humans. I'm well aware that Saber has portrayed them as such: Articuno as a young woman and Zapdos and Moltres as young men. My problem is how exactly do I portray them as humans?

Personally, I totally agree with Saber's interpretation- Articuno as female, Zapdos and Moltres as male.

That being said, you could apply these personality ideas to a male or a female version. These are neither exhaustive nor definitive, just ideas to get you to think of something yourself.

Articuno- beautiful, ice queen sort of image. Vain, cares a lot about her appearance. Tall, piercing eyes, long flowing hair. Can be coldhearted; appears cool and collected. Perhaps prone to tears when alone. Maybe likes romance novels.

Zapdos- the key word here is anger. A very angry young man, will get into a temper at the smallest provocation; a very short fuse. Perhaps its a defense mechanism? Maybe he is very insecure and gets angry to cover this up? Anger management issues? Very impulsive and emotional.

Moltres- very laid back with a warm, sunny nature. Has a lot of charm. Always smiling, very cheerful. A trickster, someone who plays jokes, perhaps?
Perhaps his smile hides a secret or an insecurity? Maybe he is naive or a little slow-witted?

Um, how about you not double post, hm? That might be a good way to start. Start fresh, yesyes. Fresh, with a brand-new fic, perhaps? Give up on this plot and find a new one? Maybe one you can handle, hm? Perhaps, yes?

No? You insist on reposting the same fic over and over again? Really? Even if nobody seems to like it, and it's damaged beyond repair? Even after countless times of closing and opening and restarting? Is that so?
Then I suppose I should offer some words of wisdom.



First of all, you're pretty much asking us to create the characters for you. Honestly, why don't you try to be creative and do things yourself? Instead of just relying on us to supply you with ideas and tell you what's right and wrong before you even start.
What a crappy way to learn.

Decide for yourself. Create the characters and post them, THEN ask for feedback. If you don't make mistakes, how will you learn? If we feed you everything with a silver spoon, it's hardly even your fic- it's ours. :/


Seriously, think for yourself.



Anyways, if you want our advice on creating characters, at least give us some more background. What are some plans you have for the story? Why are these birds suddenly human? How did they become human, and how did they recieve these specific bodies? Do you have any perceptions on the birds?

On the way of how we think the characters should be, I mostly agree with steel-rain, although I do find it a bit cliché, even though it makes sense. Although Moltres could be a nice, warm guy who can be caring and emotional.\\Seriously, just do whatever you want with it. :/

God. You lose all respect from me there. I showed you how. DESCRIBE DESCRIBE DESCRIBE. Use that imagination of yours. All you did, was steal the example I gave you. Then, after having to be yelled at and threatened with getting a mod thrown at you, you got rid of it, and only did a smidgeon of your own work. I told you how you could describe Zapdos and Moltres. How they could look, a suggestion. But instead of listening, you ignore, and continue to think you can get away with half cutting it.

Oh and double posting is against the rules.

And guess I was the one against the grain with Zapdos/Molt female and Arti male for a fic of mine.

Back on topic; don't ask us to make your characters for you. That's against the rules too.

Also; How on earth do they have human forms? They aren't psychic like Mew and Latias, so can't transform or use illusion. They don't know transform like Ditto or Mew. Why do they even have human forms in the first place? It sounds .. so cliche.

And Steel-Rain, you came close to breaking the rule cause well, you aren't supposed to supply characters >> and doing this kinda is well, supplying characters.

Actually, I plan in the future of my 5 part series of fics (the first two being The Beginning of the War and Legends of the Past) to reveal that all of the Legendary Pokemon have human forms as well.

As for the poster of this topic, go with anything you can think of with the color of teh legendary you are making.

It's called pokemorphs or anthros. And why is everyone going the sheep way of having Articuno as female and the others as male? Why, the 'beauty' and 'grace'? No one ever heard of a feminine male? Or a masculine female? It does happen. And Zapdos strikes me more of a woman. The temper and all.

Seriously we women get like that when we PMS. No beauty and grace there. Just lots of death and devistation. Seriously, just having Arti as female because it boils down to girly is sorta stupid imo :/ and now I go off topic. Yipee.
