no Porygon doesn't change its form when it copies Forcast. All Porygon does is change its type when the whether changes.

When any Pokemon uses Trace on Castform, nothing will change. Even when the weather changes.

Why has everyone been asking about Castform and Trace all week? This is like the fourth time I've posted this, but whatever:

Oh, unintentionally tried it last night. The game said my Gardevoir traced forecast, enemy Castform uses sunny day and transforms, Gardevoir looks the same and is still Psychic type. Nothing happens.

Yeah, Lostelle's right. Forecast won't affect a Pokémon unless its Castform, even if its Traced (note that Forecast can't be skill swapped either).

edit: To clarify, Skill Swap takes Forecast from the Pokémon with that ability, but its effects do not affect the recipient of Skill Swap (the user or another Pokémon if its being Skill Swapped a second time) unless it is Castform.

So I suppose I should say, Forecast's EFFECTS cannot be Skill Swapped onto a Pokémon other than Castform.

Not only that but the'd have to do extra sprites for every pokemon that can trace it so no... just no... now stop askingfor any tracable pokemon or feel the wrath of the jam sandwhich.
