Porygon needs a second appearence

Porygon needs a second appearence, and this time... the animators did learned their lesson after that banned episode about blue and red lights.

I mean, does Porygon really need to be locked up after that long ago seizure disaster? I know the anime is currently featuring the 3rd gen and soon the 4th gen, but still... Porygon needs a second appearence. All the other pokemon don'y appear only once.

Your thoughts?

There are probably people in Japan who are still sensitive to this issue considering they were hospitalized.

That and since the Japanese government seized the episode, maybe they forbid the anime from ever putting Porygon in a main episode again.

Who knows? There is no other reason why after 400+ episodes neither Porygon nor Porygon2 have been allowed to show up.

I think he had a cameo in The Power of One or some other movie. All it is is that I remember seeing him elsewhere.

I saw him in celebi voice of the forest in the introduction for a short while,maybe they showed a bit mercy

There's no reason to ban Porygon. They should just make a new episode with Porygon and Porygon2 without any flashes that can give people seizures.

Maybe they should just do a trainer that has a Porygon2. Ash could battle him and what not....

Thank you! I completely agree, since I'm a Porygon enthusiast (obviously). Since it wasn't Porygon that caused the seizures, but the flashing lights, then Porygon should definately make a few more appearances.

Hmmm... I never did realized that the goverment could have banned Porygon and Porygon 2... but since there were cameo appearences... then maybe there is a little hope.

Pikachu is infallible, regardless of the fact that he gave little kids seizures. Therefore there had to be a scapegoat, and that is what became of Porygon and it's evolution.

Which is rather sad because is really a cool pokemon and deserves better treatment then this.

I definitely agree that Porygon need another appearance. Maybe the writers could make it so there won't be seizures. I always wanted to see a Porygon as well as Porygon 2.
