Here you can discuss what mistakes that had been made in any pkmn comics.
For example, I read that Sean (or Amber, I think) said that his carvanna's HIDDEN POWER is used to create seceret hideout, but wasn't that seceret power? (also in the show, watch "The 3 team scheme" in english)

True, not many live in Singapore... but a lot of people (like me, in Australia) import Chuang Yi's translated manga.

Also, in the Chuang Yi translation, they said that Wally was going to Ever Grande City which is supposed to be Vendturf City.

Ummm. The girl is suppose to be Blue. In Japan, Green and Red were released first, followed by Blue. So the boys are nmedfor the first two games and the girl for the later one.

I know, but in America they switched it so that the boy was Blue and the girl was Green because that's how the games were released here, but they forgot to for that one panel.

Actually, that was Viz's fault. Chaung Yi used Viz's translations for Volumes 1-7.

Holy ****. I didn't realize that Volume 20 was already published by Chuang Yi. I thought we had to wait for Volume 21 to be released in Japanese. I have to seriously ****ing buy that!!!

Anyway, I don't really care about all the mistakes Chuang Yi made. I have undying gratitude to them for actually translating it into English at all, so the mistakes are so minor to me, that I could give less of a ****.

Scott? The Battle Frontier Guy? Chuang Yi din't release any chapter with him AFAIK!!!
The Aqua Admin was called Amber and I call him Amber, not Scott or Sean because I don't like fanon names.

Actually if you read volume 20... Furze who is Scott has two minor appearences.

Can someone post the differences between American and Chuang Yi's name (excluding Amber, Mack, Chermaine and Keane because they has no official American names)

Considering the American versions only go up to Volume 7 I'd say there'd a be a lot more characters that don't have "official" American names...

You're NOT right. Most of manga chracters also appeared in the Pokemon gameplay. So, they have official American names from American version gameplay!

To Maxim, please understand that sometimes the writers do not copy the names from the games. Also, Blue(Girl, Jap. Name)/Green(Girl, US Name) did not even appear in the games. Also, in Gold and Silver, you never meet the heroine. In Crystal, if you play as a male, you never meet the heroine, if you play as a female, you never meet the hero, and etc... So please, you should read the manga properly. Not ALL Names are copied.

From what I collect, the following are characters which Chuang Yi didn't keep the official English names of:

(Japanese - Official English - Chuang Yi)

Team Aqua Admin Ushio - Matt - Ark
Team Aqua Admin Izumi - Shelly - Angie
Team Magma Admin Kakari - Courtney - Marge
Team Magme Admin Homura - Tabitha - Mitch
Battle Frontier Owner Enishida - Scott - Furze
Hoenn Reporter Mari - Gabby - Marianne
Youngster Gorou (Johto) - Joey - Grant

And of course the Blue/Green switch which was remnant of Viz's work. But I'm glad they changed Green's sister Nanami back to Daisy instead of May (Viz translation).

These are the ones as far as I know. Other characters are either named with the official English names or are only manga only characters and thus have no official English names. I hope Chuang Yi will keep the Frontier Brains' official English names instead of naming them something else like Furze for Scott.

Ah, yeah. And Reporter Dai is named Tyler in Chuang Yi and in Amerrican Gameplay he's named Ty, AFAIK. But I prefer Tyler. Ty is weird name O_O. So, May was also the Viz's dub name of Nanami in Pokespecial? I thought the name May appeared only in Dengeki Pikachu. Because she was named Satsuki in Japanese Version of Dengeki Pikachu. And Satsuki means May (the month) in Japanese.

And I think they named Scott Furze because the Editors of Chuang Yi simply didn't play American Version of Emerald :D
